Chapter 6
Alex's P.O.V
I slam my door, and slump into one of the chairs in my living room. I feel so bad, just walking out on her, but the fucking blood is to much. See vampires don't need to drink human blood we can live off a regular diet, but it is still really fucking good. I've been trying to stay away from it, but there's something about her, and I like it.
Kate's P.O.V
I toss and turn, but I can't sleep. I silently slide out of bed, and put some slippers on. I make my way downstairs, and I go into the kitchen. I pull out and orange, and peel it, and sit down at the island. I see the hallway light flick on and my head shoots towards it. Aron walks into the kitchen.
"Jesus Christ Aron! Give me a heart attack why don't you!" I say clutching my chest where my heart is beating away.
"Sorry" he laughs. "Why are you up?" he asks me.
"Can't sleep" I say popping a piece of my orange in my mouth.
"So you're eating instead?" he asks sitting beside me.
"Well duh, food is always the answer." I joke.
Aron laughs, "it is with you" he says I fake gasp and punch his arm.
"Is not!" I say.
"It so is!" he says taking half my orange and walking back towards the hallway.
"Give me back my orange!" I yell. Aron puts his finger to his lips and smirks,
"shhhh! Moms sleeping" he whisper yells. I flip him off and he laughs and walks away.
I finish what's left of my orange, and walk back up to my room. I crawl back into my bed and fall asleep.
The next morning
I wake up tired from my lack of sleep, and sit up in bed. I rub my eyes, and walk into my bathroom. I brush and straighten my hair.
After applying mascara, coverup, and eyeliner I walk towards my dresser. I pull out a beetles shirt, and some purple skinny jeans. I grab my bag, and head downstairs.
"You're up late" Aron says.
I nod "and you owe me half and orange" I say sticking my tongue out at him. He laughs and walks away. I grab my keys off of the kitchen counter and walk out to my car. I slide into the cold interior, and start it. I manage to get to school without being late. I walk quickly towards my locker, and ditch three of my books inside.
I sigh as I reach the classroom remembering that Alex is in my next three classes.
I bravely walk into the classroom and see everybody just reaching their tables. I look and notice Alex isn't at our table. That little fucker, probably too scared to face me. I sigh and sit down. He isn't in my next two classes either.
At lunch, I meet up with Tanya. She walks up to my locker, and I pull it open.
''Hey" she says cheerily.
"Hey" I mumble.
"How was Alex?" She asks me.
"He fucking walked out!" I say loudly.
"It was like the first day, his eyes got dark and he just stormed out!"
Tanya shrugs. "That's weird, but Im not going to say I told you so'' she says.
"Thanks" I say sarcastically.
"Look just give it time" she says. I nod and turn back to my locker. I pull out my purse, and I feel a hand tap on my shoulder. I turn and see Alex.
"What?'' I snap.
"Look Kate, I'm really sorry" he says.
"About what?" I say disappointment clear in my voice.
"About running out on you, I feel so bad, and I want to make it up to you'' he says confidently.
"Oh yeah? how?" I ask him.
"Can I take you out... Like on a date?" He says a little less confident that time.
I giggle at his loss of confidence "fine, but just so you know my older brother Aron will interrogate you" I joke.
He nods "thought so" I laugh.
"I'll see you in class I guess.'' I smile.
"Okay, I'll call you after school'' he says walking away.
"Oh my god, that was so cute!" Tanya says.
"I forgot you were even here" I laugh.
She looks hurt "how could you! I'm the light of your life" she jokes.
"Yup sureee'' I laugh.
"No but seriously, there was so much chemistry between you two!" She says.
"I thought you said he was bad news" she sighs.
"I think he is but I don't think he'll do anything to you" she says.
"Okay well lets go have lunch." I say walking towards the cafeteria.
"Always the food" Tanya laughs.
"That's what Aron said!" I say dramatically.
"That's because it's true" she laughs again.
"Well still!" I say. We walk into the cafeteria and grab our lunches.

Updating in a bit just pulled up into my driveway. So yeah I'm back!!! We got two flat tires on the way back it sucked my dad and brother are still out on the highway. Gahhh
