Letting out a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself down, Leland pushes his back up against the closed bathroom door - and squeezes his eyes shut. He can feel how uncomfortably tight his pants have gotten now, and he does his best to try and calm his mind down. He's still unsure as to why he's reacting this way, and the more he thinks on how Johnny acted towards him - the more his head starts to hurt. He doesn't like the feeling he has in his pants, and he definitely doesn't like the way his mind is being to him either. Every time he squeezes his eyes closed, he's reminded of that one scene in the movie he just watched - and then it's followed by the way Johnny's leg pressed against his own.
He can feel his heart racing because of it, and it's driving him just the tiniest bit mad - because he wants it to stop. He felt like he could finally feel normal again, after pushing away the silly incident he did a week ago, completely forgetting what he did; to being able to feel nothing when he's actually around Johnny. He was liking the way everything was starting to feel normal again, and he's gone and ruined it all in one night.
Letting out another deep breath, Leland opens his eyes in an attempt to try and ignore it once more. He focuses in on the shower in front of him, and a thought pops into his head this time; maybe another cold shower could help him fight what's going on? It was able to cool his body down last time, so what's to stop it from happening again? He knows he doesn't want to actually go through with touching himself again, the embarrassment and shame was too much last time. And Leland would rather fucking die, then have to admit to touching himself twice over Johnny. It's an inward battle with his own mind, and he can feel the rage starting to spiral down him once more as well.
What the actual fuck was wrong with him right now?
There were so many moments in that movie that made him so uncomfortable, to the point where he didn't even want to look at the screen. He's still so iffy when it comes to anything to do with two men; so why the hell is his body acting the way that it is right now? He wants to scream in frustration over it, kind of wants to rip his hair out as well - because it feels like he's slowly losing control of his own body and there's nothing he can really do about it. It must be due to the fact that he hasn't physically seen Ana in so long, it's the only logical explanation as to why his body is being this way.
He hasn't been able to see the one he loves, hasn't been able to touch the one he loves - and that alone is enough to drive any sane man up the wall. He just can't find a way to connect the two - how does Ana equal the same amount as Johnny? Could it just be the attention that Johnny gives him sometimes, that makes him miss the way Ana used to? It's hurting his brain a lot right now, that he feels he might even cry in frustration - so he pushes himself away from the wall, and he turns the shower on to just cold.
He can't allow himself to continue to think more on this, it'll confuse his thoughts even more - and the situation in his pants, still won't go away. So he strips himself down, and throws his clothes to the corner of the room; before finally getting himself underneath the freezing cool water. It automatically sends shivers down his spine, and he lets a small gasp out as the water hits his body - but he also does his best to just ignore his lower region. Hoping that the water itself will wash away this type of problem, and maybe Leland can just get on with his life.. The best that he could.
Maybe Leland asked for too much, or maybe he didn't ask for enough - because he closes his eyes once more in the shower; and the image of Johnny is popping up in his head again. A swear word passes from his lips at that, and he snaps his eyes open once more while shaking his head. He needs to get a hold of himself right now, he doesn't like the way two men are together - and he fucking loves his fiancé. His head is just in the middle of a rut, and making himself dwell onto something like this, is not going to help his situation. So Leland lets out another string of cuss words, turns the cold shower tap on even more and does his best to clear his fucking mind.
It took him a little bit longer than he planned, his body was shivering just a little bit by the time he got out of the shower. But he was able to calm down what the problem was with his lower region, and he felt he was able to clear his mind just a little bit more. He still has some small thoughts circling in the back of his mind, trying to remind him of the movie he just watched - and the way that Johnny had acted with him - but Leland was strong. He was able to ignore what all of these thoughts were trying to do, as he dried himself off and placed his old clothes back on. He doesn't feel comfortable hopping back into his dirty clothes again, but as a quick escape to the bathroom was needed - he didn't have time to stop in his room for a fresh pair. He needed to go straight back to bed now, close his eyes and force himself to sleep - he can't waste another waking minute on this, and when the morning comes - Leland can pretend tonight never even happened.
So now with a clearer mind, and a freezing cold body - Leland finally makes his way out of the bathroom, into the dimly lit hallway. It's quiet now upstairs, and Leland wonders just how long he was actually in the bathroom this time.. Long enough that it seems everyone has gone to bed by now. He frowns a little bit at himself for that, because taking a long shower can only amount to one thing - and that's a conversation he doesn't want anyone to bring up to him. He shakes his head a little bit with a small sigh, before he goes to make his way back to his room.
There's a faint noise down the halls that piques Leland's interest just a little bit, and it makes him stop in the middle of his walk. He strains his ears once more, just to see if that noise is made again - and when it echoes ever so slightly down the hallway once more - his eyebrows raise from it. The curiosity is building up inside of Leland right now, and he knows logically that he should leave it alone - but the other part of him wants to check it out. He can't help that he always wants to investigate things as well, and it's another thing that he blames on his mother - he always had to check stuff out, just in case it wasn't what it seemed. His mother always told him that even the smallest of noises could be someone in trouble - and it's best to investigate what it could be, just in case that's the day you end up saving someone.
Looking at it now, and in this circumstance - Leland doesn't find any logic in how it could help him right now. It's not even the middle of the night, and he's inside a really rich home - with multiple locks on the front door. There was no way someone would be getting injured right now.. But still, the noise is made once more - and Leland turns around on his heel to follow where the noise has come from.
It leads him down a couple of doors past the bathroom, and it's only when Leland is standing near one certain door - that he realizes that the noise is coming from Johnny's room. He stops in his tracks at the realization, his eyebrows raised high as he thinks of why this noise is coming from here. Did someone secretly break inside of the house, and go straight to Johnny's room for god knows what? Or did Johnny injure himself in a way where he needs help to get back up? Leland weighs these options in his mind, and he thinks that maybe he should go inside his bedroom just to check it out. It's in the best interest for Leland to check it out, just in case it was something horrible and he can feel better knowing he helped the situation.
His mind isn't even trying to remind him of the long shower he just had, or the problems that arose when he watched the movie. It's like the second he thinks that someone is in danger, his mind flips on him - and all Leland can think about is making sure the other person is okay. So he takes a deep breath in, places his hand on the door handle and goes to twist it open.
It's only when Leland's hand is gripping the handle, does he realize that Johnny's bedroom door was actually opened a little bit. It wasn't enough that Leland could actually see everything inside of his room, but it was enough that Leland could see Johnny's bed. And his eyes widened at the scene that's unfolding in front of him, because not only was it Johnny who was making those small noises before - but he definitely wasn't in any kind of trouble.
In fact, it was the complete opposite.
And it was a scene that Leland fears might be burnt into his mind for a long time to come.
His hand grips just a little bit tighter on the handle, the more he stares and Leland knows he needs to tear his fucking eyes away, but it also feels like his feet are glued to the ground right now. It's like his body physically won't move for him, and he can feel the way his throat is starting to dry up from it all.
Johnny was laying down on his bed, his back against the mattress - and his head was thrown back onto the small amount of pillows he had - no idea that Leland was standing at his door. Johnny must've removed his shirt when he came into his room, because his chest was bare against the moonlight - and Leland could see a couple of scars with each rise and fall of the man's chest. Leland just wishes that this was it, that Johnny was just sleeping and was the type to make noises when they're deep in their sleep. But it wasn't the case, and Leland knows now that he needs to stop investigating any type of sound he hears; especially if it's Johnny making the noise.
First it was the bathroom incident when they first met, and now it was this.
Johnny's left hand was visibly hiding underneath his unbuckled pants, and Leland knew straight away what the man was doing. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the man was clearly.. Pleasuring himself right now. And the only problem that was arising right now, was why was Leland still here? Why was his hand still gripping the door handle hard, and his eyes were locked in on the movement of Johnny's hand? Why was this something Leland couldn't tear his eyes away from, and why was it becoming hard for him to swallow right now?
There's a small movement on the bed, of Johnny rearranging one of his legs - as the movement of his hand speed picks up - and it's only when the taller man lets out another low noise; does Leland finally realize how wrong this was. He can feel the instant shame and guilt wash over his body when it kicks in, and his cheeks automatically heat up red from it all - and he finally tears his eyes away, when Johnny moans once more. It rings through Leland's ears, in a way he might not like that much - and he fully rips himself away from the door, his heart beating it's way up to his throat - as he nearly makes a sprint for it down the darkened hallway.
It's only when Leland had fully locked himself in his own bedroom, the lights turned off so all that's shining inside was the moonlight - that he lets out a strangled breath from his small getaway. His heart is beating so fast once more, his body completely heated from head to toe - after witnessing something like that - and he's not sure how he can calm himself down from this. He can't rack his brain right now for a logical excuse for doing what he just did, and he can't close his eyes either - because all that he can see, is the image of Johnny on his bed - and the noises he made. It's messing with Leland in more ways than one, his mind spinning around on him - while he also feels a little bit disgusted by it. He knows he can't be angry at Johnny, everyone has the right to pleasure themselves - and he was also the one who watched it happen - but it just doesn't sit right with him.
It's not like Leland can even explain why it doesn't sit right with him, because his stomach feels a little bit queasy - and the only clear thought he can make out in his mind - is what was Johnny touching himself over?
It's inappropriate, Leland knows that - but his mind won't stop asking that question, now that it's the only one he can hear so clearly. It's running in circles, tormenting him in ways that Leland didn't even want to know possible - he needs it to stop. Needs to stop this nonsense going around him, and wipe every event that happened tonight out of his mind. It's not good for him, and it's affecting him in really shitty ways; he just watched for a good minute of Johnny touching himself and he didn't even bat an eyelash? What the fuck is going on with Leland right now? He knows he's meant to be more open to things like.. That. But even Leland knows it shouldn't cover grounds like this, does this just make him a pervert?
He shudders at the thought of it, shaking his head as he makes his way over to his bed. No, he can't be a pervert at all - he just got shocked by what he saw, and it took a minute for his brain to register that it was not good. That's all this was, Leland can't allow himself to think even more over it - he just needs to ignore it. It's the one thing that he's good at, he can just push it to the very back of his mind - and go the fuck to sleep.
He strips himself out of his clothes once more, this time going towards his wardrobe and finding a clean pair of sleep pants to pull on once he opens it. He wastes no more time in climbing into the bed, wrapping the blanket tight around his body as he forces his eyes closed. He knows his brain wants to repeat the events of what he just saw, wants to taunt him just a little bit more - and poke fun at the way he reacted to what he saw. Though Leland wont allow it to happen, instead he forces his mind to think of Ana - and he forces himself to picture her instead. He can make out the way that she smiles towards him, how his heart flutters when she's near - and he's able to trick his mind long enough that he can fall asleep without a second thought of Johnny.
When the morning sun rose, and Leland awoke in a small patch of sweat - his heart beating fast, over a thought he couldn't control - he thought for sure that he might be truly fucked.

It's not like anything had really changed between Johnny and Leland since that night, it's not like Johnny had any real reason to act a certain way towards him. And it's not like Leland really had a reason to act his way either.. But he knows deep down that it was a lie and it was one that he swore to keep buried for the rest of his days. He could never actually come to terms with what happened to him, and the more he ignores it - the easier it is for him to continue on with his time at this farm. He's still as friendly and nice as ever with the family that welcomed him in with open arms, and he's still civil enough with Johnny - that no questions ever arise from him.
Leland should be just a little bit worried with how easy he can lie now, and he has that thought a couple of times when he's on the phone to Ana. He's lied about a couple of things towards her now, and it never sits well inside of him when he does so - but he also knows, these were things he couldn't tell her. He couldn't let her know about some thoughts that go through his mind, and he couldn't tell her how his eyes sometimes linger for a second too long. It's small things like this that would crush her heart, and Leland just knows that the shit that's happening to him will eventually fade - when his three months are up, and he's back at home with the woman of his dreams. All of this will feel like it never happened. He's able to pin it down to having the missing touch of Ana, and the lack of seeing her that his body is feeling the way that it feels,
When he was at home, and she was all he could see - no other thoughts would ever cross his mind. But now he's miles away from home, and he hasn't seen his lady in weeks - and Leland is desperately missing the warmth she gives him. He feels that he's acting out just a little bit because of it, not used to having to be so far away and lingering for a single touch. His body and mind have needs of their own, and Leland has done his absolute best to try and squish them down - he does his best to not let his mind linger too much at night - and he does his best to keep his eyes to himself.
It's just hard for him, in a way. He sees Johnny every single day, and after witnessing such an intimate moment in that man's room - Leland feels like his eyes are prying too much on him now. He feels that Johnny knows what he saw, even his words and body say otherwise - there's something tugging in the back of Leland's mind, that tells him he's screwed - no matter what. He wasn't able to look Johnny in the eyes the morning after, and the taller man had laughed at him for it - telling him that everything was fine - and it's natural to relieve yourself when things get tense.
Leland should know that Johnny was referring to him in the bathroom, and not him watching Johnny through his door. Except his mind told him it was the other thing, and now all he can do - is blush like a mad man every time he's around Johnny. It feels that more often than not, that Leland is going through some crises in this family farm - and he knows what the root of his problem actually is - it's just that he refuses to acknowledge it at all. Pushing it down, and ignoring it all up is all he can do with this, even if it drives him almost completely insane on most days.
He must be having one of those days, where he can't stay focused on the tasks in front of him - his mind too busy playing tricks on him, to do the simple thing Nancy had asked of him. He ran into Johnny on his way out of the house, and he had asked Leland if he wanted to hit up the pub again this weekend. It took Leland a second to collect his thoughts, because when his eyes locked with the man - all he could see was the face Johnny had that night. His cheeks had flushed bright red again, and his body nearly flinched when one of Johnny's hands came out to pat him on the shoulder. He could feel a shiver run down his spine at it, and he gave Johnny just an awkward smile - before telling him he would think about it - and bolting as far away from the man that he could. He hates the way he's become around him now, and he curses at himself as he makes his way towards one of the sunflower fields.
He's already abandoned the task that Nancy had given him, that flew out his mind the second he ran into Johnny - and he lets a heavy sigh out when he reaches one of the fields. Reaching his own hand out, to touch along the soft petal. He's frustrated with the way he is now, coming to the terms of hating himself even more - and he lets an angry noise out - ripping one of the sunflowers heads off and throwing it to the ground. He feels like a stranger inside of his body right now, and he loathes it - he wants to go back to how it was. Before he saw Johnny doing that, and before he awoke with that.. Thought.
He's lost in his own world once more, and it's no surprise that he doesn't notice someone coming up beside him - and he only snaps out of it, when he hears a small laugh to his side. His head snaps towards the noise, and at first he thought it might be Johnny - his heart beat picking up at the thought. But when he notices that it's just Sissy, he calms down just a little bit, and offers her up a small smile.
"Leland, sweetie," She greets with a small smile, tilting her head to the side just a little bit, "Are you personally offended by sunflowers?"
"What?" Leland says with a small laugh, raising an eyebrow towards Sissy.
"Well sugar, you just ripped one of the heads off," She nods towards the flower head on the ground, "So either you have a personal problem with these flowers, or somethings up with you?"
"I don't have a problem with them," He admits easily, giving her a soft smile, "Nothings wrong with me either."
"I don't believe you," She says with a small hum, shaking her head, "It's been a week or so now since we watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and ever since it, you've been a little bit.. Off."
"What do you mean?" Leland can feel the spike in his heart again, and he avoids looking in her direction at all.
"We all know Tim Curry plays that role amazing, and he looks good doing it. Though something is telling me he's not the reason you're feeling this way," Sissy says, this time leaning forward so she can sniff one of the flowers, "You know it's okay right?"
"What's okay?" A wave of confusion washes through Leland, as he looks over towards Sissy.
"Sometimes, your mind can be a prison. And it can feel like you'll never break free from it," She says, her voice soft this time, "It's not easy when you witness things, or realize a couple of things that have to do with yourself either. Especially if you've only ever thought a certain way for so long," She continues on, not looking towards Leland at all, "All I'm saying is that it's okay. You're allowed to feel certain things, and you're allowed to act a certain way. You shouldn't hate yourself over something you can't control."
"I genuinely have no idea what you're speaking about," Leland says with a small laugh, his cheeks heating up red a tiny bit, "I swear I'm fine. The only thing that's been annoying me lately is how homesick I feel. I just miss my lover."
"And that's okay as well," She looks towards Leland this time, a smile on her face, "It's also okay if that's not the reason."
"I-" Leland goes to protest, but Sissy cuts him off.
"Don't say anything now, just take my words and think them over. I'll leave you alone for now." She finishes with a hum, and Leland can't even say anything towards her - because she's making her way away from him - and she's whistling along to a song he's never heard before.
He feels even more confused now than ever, the words Sissy had spoken to him make him feel weird. It's annoying him just a little bit with what she said, because he genuinely has no idea what she was getting at - was there something telling on his face - that she saw and he couldn't? Was it because of the way that Leland has been acting towards Johnny, that she picked up on something? Or, did she see him that night, and now has something to hold against him?
Each question makes Leland even more uncomfortable, and he's unsure of which one he wants the answer to first.

It's like it hit Leland out of nowhere, and he awakes in his bed feeling extremely depressed with himself. He's unsure as to what's led him to feel this way, but when he sits himself up in the bed - resting his back against the headboard, the sigh he lets out is just soft of a whimper. It's not usual for Leland to have feelings like this, it's only very rare that he'll feel as down as this - and he runs his fingers through his hair, as he shakes his head. His heart is heavy right now, and he fears it's because of the way he's been with Ana lately.
He still calls her every night before bed, and he still fills her in on the days that he's been having - but he's starting to leave out details of things he's done. And it's only things that are small, or contain awkward runs in with Johnny that he leaves out; it's really nothing to feel so depressed over. But there's guilt lining in the back of his mind, and it's weighing extremely heavy on his heart this morning. He knows he should probably be honest with her, and explain the awkward run-ins he's had over the course of the month - but every time he goes to tell her about the night he had that dream. His throat clams up, and he just tells her how much he loves her. He hates the way he's become with her right now, and on top of it all - he hates the way he's being with Johnny right now.
He's caught himself one too many times staring at the man at work, and he's noticed the way Johnny's muscles flex a certain way when he's lifting heavy items. He can't help the way his body is slowly starting to react to this man, and he's even gone as far as to try and get himself in closer spaces with him. It's gotten to the point where Leland no longer questions himself, not wanting to give himself a horrible headache over it - and to just keep ignoring his actions. He knows there's no harm in what he's doing for himself, the only thing that he does find.. Unsettling, is that he might be making Johnny uncomfortable.
For all Leland knows right now, is that Johnny is straight - and he hasn't done anything to prove otherwise. He's got this small underlining fear that he might be invading Johnny's space just a little bit too much. By always trying to find a moment with him, to his eyes lingering when Johnny is out working. When they visit the pub as well, and they both get drunk off cheap beer - Leland tries to get Johnny on the dancefloor, just so they can dance close - squished between the bodies of others. He never allows himself to think too much on these types of actions, because all he can put it down to - is he just enjoys the friendship that they share. He admires Johnny when he works, and he admires the body that he has - he only ever feels awkward when he remembers that night. That's when his body will flush around the man, and that's when Leland thinks he's making Johnny uncomfortable.
At first Johnny would laugh at it, thinking he said something to make him flustered - but after it happened one too many times, Johnny started to ask if something was wrong with Leland. That's when Leland would make his bolt, his heart beating fast - as he cursed at himself for the way he was acting.
The wave of depression he's feeling right now doesn't seem to be going away, and now it's slowly becoming laced with his thoughts - to the point where Leland has to lay himself back down in the bed. He's so confused about everything that's happened to him, and maybe he should have just gotten on that train home - when he thought Johnny was kissing a man. He should've gotten the hell out of this farm, and just run away with Ana. Screw the world and put everything behind them, so they could just be happy. If he had done that, then he wouldn't be lying in this bed right now - feeling shit over the lies he's telling her, and trying to ignore these thoughts about Johnny.
A knock at his door startles him from the thoughts he was having, and he raises a single eyebrow when he watches it open. Nancy walks in with a small smile on her face, and she looks at Leland just a little bit surprised - to see him still laying in the bed.
"Honey," Her voice is soft, as it floats through the room, "Are you not feeling too bright today?" She questions from the doorway, not wanting to invade Leland's space too much.
"Oh," Leland says, letting out a tiny laugh as he sits himself up in the bed slowly, "I was just having a sad morning, I'm okay besides that."
"You know how impressed we are with the work you've been doing," She says towards him, her smile still soft on her face, "Did you want to take the day off today? Drayton said that the order today wasn't going to be too much. I'm sure he'll survive with one less pair of hands."
"I don't want to be an inconvenience," Leland protests, shaking his head as he makes his move out of the bed, "I should be fine to work today. It's just a case of the blues, and it'll leave eventually."
"No, no," Nancy says quickly, shaking her head, "It's fine darl, you can stay here for the day and come back to work tomorrow. Just take the day for yourself, and rest a little bit. Call Ana if you want as well, you'll have the house to yourself for most of the day."
"Most of the day?" Leland questions, moving back in the bed so his back is resting against the headboard once again.
"We have a hay delivery coming in around lunchtime today, Johnny will be making a quick trip back here to collect the delivery," Nancy says, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear, "But it won't be for too long, and he'll head back to the slaughter house."
"Oh," Leland says with a small smile, nodding towards her, "That's okay, I probably won't leave the bed at all. I might sleep for a bit longer, and if I do get out, I'll just call Ana to help the time pass."
"That's completely fine sweetie," Nancy says, her smile stretching wide on her face, "I'll tell Drayton you're not feeling too hot today, and I'll come check in on you at the end of the day. I'm just going out with Sissy for brunch, and I'll make sure to bring you back something as well."
"Thank you," Leland says towards her, giving her a small smile as well, "It means a lot."
"Not at all," Nancy replies, shaking her head as she waves him off, "Just get some rest, and we will see you later."
Leland doesn't need to reply to her at all, instead he watches as she leaves - and once she's exited the bedroom he's in, he lets a small sigh out as he lays himself back in the bed. A small wave of tiredness washes over him as well, and it could be due to the fact of how down he's really feeling - but he doesn't try to fight it off. Instead he embraces the small wave of tiredness, and he closes his eyes as he drifts off back to sleep.
He's awoken a couple of hours later to the sound of a car pulling into the driveway, followed by the sound of a horn going off. It makes Leland groan just a little bit from the noise, and he sits himself up with a small sigh - before pulling himself out of the bed and making his way over to the window. He's met with the sight of a rusty blue dodge truck - that has a couple of bales of hay stacking in the back of it - and he watches the way the driver gets out of the car. The person in question has short black hair that curls on the top - followed by what seems to be a thin pencil moustache on his face; and he's wearing black boot jeans paired with a black fitting shirt. Leland raises an eyebrow at him, before he gives himself a little shrug and moves away from the window.
Nancy had told him that Johnny would deal with this, but it only occurred to him just then that he didn't see Johnny's truck at all in the driveway either. He furrows his eyebrows at that thought, before he let a tiny groan out and made his way towards his wardrobe. He didn't really feel like socializing with anyone new right now, but he also knows it would be rude of him to ignore this person - and not let the Sawyer family get their delivery of hay. So he pulls his wardrobe open quickly, and he puts on the first pair of clothes that he could see; it's only a pair of blue cut off jeans that come above his knees, followed by a white singlet as well. He cracks his neck side to side, before letting out just one more sigh and making his way out of the bedroom.
He's not sure on how to handle this situation at all, and he's not even sure what to exactly say to this man. Does he just tell him he's living with this family for three months, and he will take the hay off him? Or does he just not say anything, and sign a piece of paper that says they received the hay? He doesn't really want to stress himself over something like this, and he does his best to just clear his mind as he makes his way out of the house. He makes sure the door doesn't lock behind him when he steps out, because unfortunately Nancy didn't leave him a key - and he doesn't want to spend all day outside in this heat either.
He squints his eyes from how bright the sun actually is, before he makes his way towards where the truck is. It doesn't take long for Leland to notice that no one was standing by the truck anymore, and he raises an eyebrow at that - before letting a small huff of air out. Maybe the man decided to move the hay into the barn? Maybe that's just what he does all the time, and leaves a note saying it was delivered? Leland can't be so sure on something like this, so he decides to make his way towards the barn anyway - just to check that this is what is actually happening right now. He can feel a small bead of sweat roll down the back of his neck from the sun glaring down at him, and Leland kind of curses himself for coming out right now.
The barn wasn't too much of a walk from where the truck was parked, and when he finally reaches the entrance to it - he lets a heavy sigh out as he goes to push open the barn door fully. It was only opened a crack from when Leland got there, and it indicated that someone definitely came inside of here - so once the door was fully open, and Leland was standing inside of the barn a wave of confusion rolled through his body once more. It seemed to be eerily quiet inside of here, and Leland can't really see any sign of someone actually making their way into this place. Maybe the person drops it off at a different location? And Leland just decided that the barn was the logical area to place the hay? He hates the amount of thinking he's had to do over something as small as this, and he's just about to call it quits when he finally hears a noise.
It's not as quiet as Leland thought it might be either, instead it was loud - and it came from behind one of the already tall hay bales inside of here. The noise wasn't something that Leland could recognise straight away, and he feels his heart beat spike at it for a moment. He's put himself in another one of these predicaments where a noise is being made, and he's contemplating if he should go towards the sound or not. With the track record that Leland currently holds under something like this, he thinks it might be best if he just ignores it this time - pretend he never heard anything, and make a swift exit from here all up.
Though of course, there was someone here that wasn't a part of the family - and Johnny's truck was nowhere to be seen either. So this is something Leland can't really ignore, his morals wouldn't allow him to sleep well at night knowing a stranger was messing around in the barn. Even if it's just the family's ordinary hay deliverer, you never know how someone could be when the owners aren't around. Leland does groan silently to himself as well, because eventually he needs to stop following these strange noises.
He does his best to keep himself quiet as he makes his way to the bale, and it's only when Leland gets a tiny bit closer to it - does he hear another noise. Instead of it being something that Leland can't make out at all, it's a noise that he recognizes almost instantly and his eyes widen at the sound of it. A wave of doubt washes through his body at first, shaking his head as he thinks about how no way it could be this. And Leland feels like he's mistaking this for something completely different, that he doesn't even think twice before moving just a little bit - so he can see behind the hay bale.
Turns out, this was probably something Leland shouldn't have done - because the sight that appears right in front of him this time, is something that will haunt him for the rest of his days.
"You need to be quiet," It's Johnny's voice that's speaking right now, and it's more rough then Leland had ever heard it before, "Someone stayed behind, and they can't hear us."
Leland kind of wishes he could bleach his eyes out right now, along with burning his ears to cancel out any noise that could drift through him. His eyes are locked directly on the top of Johnny's head - who is currently arched over another body on the hay bale. It doesn't take long for Leland to put together exactly what is happening, and he can hear the noise of Johnny's hips moving - followed by the sound of the person groaning underneath him. He watches the way that Johnny has one of his hands laced in the hair of the person underneath him, keeping his head down in the hay - as the other one grips the person's hip. Leland's eyes widen as well, when he takes in that the person underneath Johnny - was the one who was delivering the hay.
As in, this was a man underneath Johnny.
Leland was witnessing with his own eyes - Johnny actively fucking a male in this barn.
His heart lodges itself in the back of his throat at the sight of Johnny and this man, and he takes a shaky step back from where he was standing - as a mix of feelings rush through his body all at once. His eyes are wide like sauces from this event, and he doesn't even recognize that he made his own noise of surprise in the barn - until Johnny's head snaps up fast from where it was hanging - and their eyes are locking from across the room. He can see the exact moment Johnny realizes that he's being busted doing this by Leland, and he can see the exact way the taller man's face goes pale.
Leland is unsure on how to handle this situation right now, it was one thing to think he saw Johnny kissing a male - and it's a whole different thing to see Johnny actually fucking a male. He isn't sure if he should throw up right now over all of this, or if he should just make a run for it.
One thing is certain for sure with Leland right now, is Johnny is still keeping this eye contact as it happens - and Leland can feel a small wave of jealousy course through his body at the same time.
He guesses that the thought he had the other day when he awoke in a sweat, might be right.
And if that was the case, then Leland knows he is truly fucked in the head.
