Present time
I sat in the room they gave me. This women walked in and started talking to me.
"Hello, I have yet to get your name, and I need it now"
I sat silently. "Evelyn." I mumbled
"Ok, now Evelyn, I have to know what you are." she asked and smiled softly
I waited a minute, trying to study her.
"Hybrid" I mumbled. They were rare but not to rare close to being uncommon. Though it depends on what hybrid you are.
"What are you though" she asked questioning me.
"Human, and" I paused which she didn't like. "Wolf."
She seemed rather pleased, good to know I guess.
"Why choose me" I said without hesitation or even thinking about it for the matter.
She just chuckled. "Oh, don't worry about that sweetheart. You'll find out sooner than later. Now, I took a guess that you were wolf and I need you to put this on" she handed me a collar, it looks, uncomfortable. But still. She also handed me an outfit to wear instead of my bloody clothes.
The outfit was long and baggy. Thankfully
"So, what's the scars from?" She asked looking at my leg
I growled. She hissed back. And I submitted.
"Answer me"
I looked down at the scars, there was a long scar on my inner thigh and some on my upper thighs.
"nothing" I mumbled
"Tell me, Now" she sternly stated
"it's not something you ask someone right after you get them, or something you ask after someone just lost their brother" I snapped at her.
She looked down at me, her eyes went from golden to red.
She's a vampire. Shit.
