Warnings:
-Ship (obvi)
-Su1cide attempt mention
-Uranus being a bloody fool and not realizing his cousin isn't infact okay
Earth sits there, painting. He wasn't the best at it, but he was bored, and his moon was hanging out with Phobos and Deimos. He looks at the painting, thinking about how to fix it. It was a simple sunset on a lone house drawing, yet he didn't know how to do it. He just sat there, contemplating what to add until....
"Add a bit of red there" The cold planet says, peering at the painting over the smaller planet's shoulder. Earth jumps in surprise, before turning around and seeing their lover. "Ura! What are you doing here, you'll melt!" He exclaims. Uranus simply rolls his pale blue eyes. "I'll be fine, snowflake." He smiles. Earth blushes softly at the nickname. "Shut it." He rolls his eyes, though he seemed happy to have Uranus there. The pale planet rolls his eyes, knowing Earth didn't want him to leave. "Alright, I'll just leave then" The taller planet sighs, getting up. Earth quickly gets up, clinging leg. "No! I'm sorry." He exclaims, embarrassed. Uranus laughs. "Fine, only because you said sorry." He smiles, sitting back down. Earth puts his paints away, turning to Uranus.
"How's Neptune?" He asks, knowing the planet's close relationship with his cousin. "As absent-minded as always. I tried to teach him to read earlier. He's improving, I guess. Though he's not in his orbit right now." He says.
(A/N: For those of you wondering, this occurs in the same universe and time period as the previous one-shot. This universe is known as the One-shot Universe)
Earth looks confused. "Where is he?" He asks. Neptune didn't usually like leaving his orbit. "Probably talking to the dwarf planets or something" He shrugs. He trusted Neptune, and knew he could take care of himself. After all, Uranus still remembers how he was in the Proto-era as Poseidon, even if he doesn't remember. Earth looks skeptical, but if Uranus trusted him, then he had no reason not to. "If you say so. Did you ever get your moons back?" He asks. Uranus nods, a bit of his surface melting. This doesn't go unnoticed by Earth. "Idiot! You're melting, you gotta go back to your orbit!" He scolds, as Uranus smiles softly, giving Earth a small kiss on the hand, before getting up and leaving.
Earth was still blushing from the kiss, his surface warming up a bit, as he thinks of the feeling of Uranus's cold lips on his skin. It was a constant reminder that he was loved, and always would be. He glances at the sun, shuddering slightly at the memory of when he tried heading for the sun. No one else knew about that. And no one ever would, for he knew better this time.
