Madeline's pov:
"Alright guys!!" I say walking to the front of the room gathering everyone's attention.
"The night is coming to an end so I think it's time to show some appreciation and recognition," I walk over to the side of the table that was sitting behind me.
"You ladies have worked really hard getting back into the swing of things, me and I'm sure your coach have noticed insane amount of improvement. I wanna give a special shout out to the freshies," I say that with a huge smile glancing over at kk.
"But not only let's give it up for Paige finally getting back to what she does best!!" I could barely finish my sentence when all the girls started cheering and jumping around her.
She had the biggest smile on her face, and looked very happy. Her eyes finally locked with mine and she gave me a smile as well.
"Well as you make your way out, grab a bag that has your number in it and enjoy!!" I say finally walking to Paige.
"That was sweet," she said glancing down at me. I couldn't help but blush.
"Well everyone is happy to have you back and I just wanted to make sure my girl got the recognition she deserves," I say bumping into her with my hip.
She lets out a chuckle, "I'll stay and help you get things in order then we can go back to my house."
Time skip***
"Alright I think that's everything," I say walking out of the doors locking them behind me.
"Thank God," Paige replied with a smile as we walked to my car. She had rode with Kk here.
We got into my car and I let out a sigh of relief. I took my heels off so fast and Paige just laughed. "Hey don't make fun of me I'm literally 5'3. I need some heels." I say defensively looking at my pretty girl.
The moonlight casted on her face perfectly, her curls fell out mostly but she still looked so pretty.
I reached over and stared playing with a piece of her hair.
Her eyes trailed to my lips then back up, "let's get home," she said in response to me playing with it. "Okay sweet girl," I replied, turning on the car and heading to her apartment.
It was a comfortable silence driving just down the road, her hand resting on my thigh kinda made me blush. As we pulled into the parking lot I finally realized I didn't have any clothes me.
"I don't have any clothes," I said while turning off the car and facing her. She smirked then started "tsk tsk tsk, hm that's too bad I guess you'll have to sleep without any, darn it!!"
I scoffed and rolled my eyes playfully making her laugh finally. "You would get no sleep if I slept next to you with no clothes,"
She licked her lips then smirked "but I'd put you to sleep really fast," my face heated up and my stomach flipped at the thought of that.
I get out of the car and she followed. Once we got into the apartment I sat myself on her couch before pulling out my phone.
Paige sat down beside and laid her head on my shoulder. I smiled then kissed her on the head. I felt as if I had a million different mentions on every social.
I went through Instagram pretty quickly. Liking posts/comments and reposting some stuff to my story.
I then opened TikTok which is always the messiest. As I was scrolling through and watching the girls TikTok's and interviews I came across my own from earlier in the night.
I couldn't help myself in opening the comments. I smiled reading seeing so many positive ones on my answer. My looks and my outfits. I laughed a little seeing one comment saying "Paige is her favorite 100%!! Look at their eyes they don't lie."
I decided one reply wouldn't hurt anything. "I love all my girls!! Paige is great but don't tell her I like kk more 🤫"
Paige laughed at that knowing it's a lie. "Lying to the public, your a professional." Paige said with a yawn.
I couldn't help but laugh knowing she's right, we finally came across kk video and sure enough you can see me and Paige in the background leaving together.
I noticed it so I'm sure someone in the comments did too. I sighed already knowing to look. "Yall see that in the back!" One comment said but the replies were shutting it down fast.
"Be so fr. Look at Madeline that girl is the straightest girl I ever seen." I laughed knowing that is the exact opposite but ima let them think that for now.
I had make a TikTok earlier using a sza audio. This will help with people thinking I'm straight because the song is using He/him pronouns.
The comments start flooding in and the song I used was The weekend.
"Yall see she's straight!!"
"She def got a man"
"SO PRETTY"
"The basketball girls are so lucky."
"I'm in love with a straight girl."
"Damnnn"
"I'm so dead they all think you got a boyfriend," Paige says reading the comments. "Do I really look that straight?" I say with a laugh.
Finally most of the rumors were cleared up. As I was scrolling through my fyp a Paige edit came on. I got so embarrassed,
"I look good, wait this is the second edit on your fyp." She said sitting up and looking at me. My cheeks grow hot in embarrassment.
she gasps and finally says something. "YOU DO WATCH MY EDITS!!" She said with a huge smile on her face. I couldn't even deny it at this point.
She starts laughing and tackles me down showering kisses all over my face and tickling me. "Paigeeeee" I whine out while laughing.
But she doesn't stop til we hear the door unlock. She stopped tickling me but her body was still over mine and my legs on top of her lap.
Azzi. She walks in with Nika and Caroline. "Hey Paige do you care if they stay the night." Paige sits up and shrugs her shoulders.
I pull myself up and walk over to the girls. I give them all a hug then Azzi whispers something into my ear. "Caroline thinks you have a thing for one of the boys basketball players."
I sighed in relief then Paige got up joining in the conversation Nika was having.
"Hey twinnn" she said while messing up Nikas hair. "Paige stopppp." She said pushing Paige away with a smile.
"Oh Madeline we love the bags you made us," Caroline said. "Wait I never opened mine," Paige says running over to the table and getting hers.
"No shot! These are sick." She said pulling out Nike socks that had her number on them. "Yeah I got team stuff made, I like things uniform." I say before taking a seat by Nika.
Finally the best part in my opinion. And I know is the crowd favorite. It was a white Stanley cup, that said UConn Huskies and had everyone's numbers as well.
"Wowww should have put coach p, it would have been more funny." Paige said obviously joking she liked that cup.
"Well mine says Manger mads," I reply walking over to Paige. We talk and hang out with the girls for a while making sure no PDA was shown.
Finally it was time to go to sleep. Paige walked in behind me to her room. Closing the door and locking it. I glance at her with a suspicious look on my face.
"Remember you have to sleep nakey," she says walking over to me with a playful smile as she grabs my waist.
"I wouldn't want them to walk in and see you like that," she said cupping my face with one hand and laying a kiss on my lips.
"Mhm" I say into the kiss. I love kissing so a little kiss always turns into more on accident with me. Finally a pulled away catching my breath. She took a seat on the edge of her bed and I took this to my advantage.
I climbed on top of her and started kissing more. I could feel her smile as her hands trailed from my waist to the zipper on my dress.
I stopped kissing her resting my forehead on hers. "Let's go ahead and get this off of you and put you to sleep, like I was talking about." She said with a smirk and her eyes looked a shade darker.
I watch as her pupils grow bigger. I nod my head yes as she slowly unzips my dress. My stomach has the worst butterflies right now and I feel myself get immediately turned on. I am literally burning I need her touch.
