JORDINA AND AMI, were already in class in hebrew school. chicago and kalani walked in laughing while covering their mouths. "hey guys!" ami said smiling as jordina did the same. kalani saw stacy talking with lydia so she excused herself and went to the girls.
"hey cutie-pops!" kalani said. "where'd you learn that?" stacy laughed. "rabbi rebbeca of course!" kalani said, hugging the girls.
"yo, you good bro?" andy suddenly came up to stacy. kalani put her lips in a thin line as lydia stared at the interaction. kalani smiled at stacys reaction.
"yeah.. why?" "uh, your head from earlier. head injuries are no joke, one time i barfed at soccer from a concussion. did you barf?" andy asked. kalani was trying her best to hold in her laughter.
"no, i didn't." "tight." he glanced over a kalani quickly before walking to his seat.
the girls smiled. "alright, shabbat shalom!" rabbi rebbeca said. "shabbat shalom!" the class repeated as kalani took a seat next to ami and chicago while chicago was next to jordina.
"how's everyone feeling? we having the time of our lives right now, you guy's start your mitzvah projects yet?" rabbi rebbeca asked the class. "no." the whole class said. "yeah." nikki said.
"no? this is the most important part of this whole thing. It's when you do something for menschie for your community, for society at-large. what you guys don't care about society at-large?" "no." "yeah" nikki said again.
"alright how about we pick up where we left off with our old buddy, david. remember him? homeboy was about to get his groove on with the foxy bathsheba even though she was married to someone else. what a snake david is, you a snake aaron?" rabbi rebbeca said.
"n-no." aaron said nervous.
"you ever pull something like that aaron, cheat on your wife?" "m-me?" aaron said, sweating a whole ass ocean.
"dude, I'm messing around with you, relax! your sweating, my goodness. your not a snake aaron, your awesome! look at that arm hair and mustache coming in strong, baruch hashem, aaron, let's go." rabbi rebbeca said, dabbing aaron up.
"aaron don't believe her, you suck!" kalani yelled loud enough for the whole class to hear. the whole class laughed. "shut up lani! your name sounds like the rip off version of leilani!" aaron yelled, kalani gasped dramatically and jokingly as the class laughed.
"okay, stop going at eachothers throats!" rabbi rebbeca chuckled.

kalani was hanging out with her friends along with her bestfriends, jordina, ami and chicago. they were all talking until kym suggested something. "should we invite lydia? " kym questioned. "who's that? " anya questioned. "that weird girl that kalanis friends with. " kym said on her phone. "yeah" "sure " okay "that doesn't sound too bad" "kk " mkay" "k" the girls said.
kym started texting lydia.
"she asked if stacy could come. " kym said, confused. "i think we should. " kalani said. "yeah." anya agreed. "besides we can get her to admit her crush on andy, same for lydia. " megan added. kalani's eyes widen. "you know what, maybe we sho-" "done." kym said. well shit.

most of the girls were on their phone, or gossiping. kalani was straighting her hair as she talked about her dad buying her a vintage dior bag next saturday.
she had a face mask on as she was finally done with her hair.
"so lydia, any crushes? " megan suddenly asked. kalani looked at megan for a second before turning her attention at lydia as her friends did the same. "oh, uh... no, not really. there's not alot of options for boys in our grade. you know? " she said while her and stacy chuckled awkwardly.
"oh so you only like boys? " anya asked. "uh, i think so. " lydia answered.
"don't worry, some of us are straight too. " kalani said. "cool." lydia said, smiling. "i don't disagree." stacy said. the girls glared at stacy, well except for kalani and her best friends ofc.
"yeah, stacy what about you? who do you like? " kym said, the girls knew but they wanted to hear stacy say it.
"uh, no one really. " stacy said. the girls glanced at each other before ignoring it.
"uh people are coming to my house tomorrow if you want to come, nothing big. " lydia said. "sounds chill. " megan said. "you guy's have to come, it'll be freaking amazing! her house is so cool! " stacy said. the girls looked at her, taken aback by her "craziness"
"i mean, it'll be aight. " stacy shrugged.
"uh anyways, we should probably wash this off before we go. uh we have to change before we leave. " kym said as all of the girls stood up. "where are we going? " stacy asked. "to the ledge. " megan said annoyed as all of the girl's went to the restroom.
kalani washed the face mask off her face before changing.

they all came out of the bathroom. "andy will be there. " kym added as kalani, jordina, ami and chicago came from upstairs. "are you guys coming or what? " kalani yelled annoyed. "yeah I'm down! " stacy yelled getting up as lydia did the same hesitantly.

kalani came walking to the ledge, infront while her friends we're next to her, all of them laughing while kalani tilted her head, slightly covering her mouth while laughing.
"you hear that jaylin has a yeast infection" "no way for reals? " "yeah! " "omg that's so embarrassing" "for real, i could never. " the girls talked.
"look who's here. " anya said as everyone turned their head.
andy came in rather dramatically, kalani rolled her eyes.
"what up, what up" he said while walking towards kalani. he went close to her ear as he whispered something.
"come to my house later, 6:21 pm. " andy whispered, kalani felt goosebumps as stacy glared at the two before quickly stopping.
"yo, we just had soccer and we kicked st. catherine's ass, 3-0. even though their field sucks. " andy said. "yeah that field is so lopsided. " stacy added. "exactly. uh , how's your head? " andy asked, stacy just stared at him.
kalani giggled as andy looked weirded out.
"it's uhm... it's still in her body so.. " lydia said. "yeah we love that. " andy said. "and I'm not barfing soo, yeah.. " stacy said awkwardly. "
kalani didn't pay much attention to their interaction as she talked with her friends.
"I'll do it. " "wait do what? " kalani asked stacy. "jump off the ledge" aaron added as he held kalani's hand for support.
"stace no, you can literally suffer the possibility of death. " kalani disagreed
"you'd jump in, that's.. that's sick. " andy ignored. "let's see it. " megan added. "okay" stacy agreed.
kalani just ignored the others as she saw stacy walk over to the ledge as she walked with aaron, holding hands still.
the next thing she sees is stacy jumping off the ledge.
she quickly let go of aarons hand as she ran over to lydia.
"stacy! " kalani yelled.
stacy jumped into the water successfully as kalani smiles and cheered. "stacy! you are a badass! " kalani yelled as stacy smiles at her. "woohoo! " stacy yelled.
"yo, stacy friedman! your a frickin legend! " andy yelled. "that's how i do it! " stacy yelled back.
"what is that? " andy questioned as kalani gasped as she covered her mouth. her friends gasped aswell.
"oh disgusting. " andy said.
"yo stacy just turned the ledge into the red sea. " andy laughed, kalani frowned at him as the girls did the same, while lydia was laughing with the rest of the kids.
now that's a horrible friend.
"shut up andy it's natural. " kalani defended stacy.
"chill out, it's just a period guys it happens every month. " anya defended.
"that looks like 2 months. " a random boy said.
"you couldn't deal with having a period aaron! " "yeah you punk! " "wait what did i even do? " aaron frowned.
lydia went down the ledge. kalani peeked down and she saw them arguing, yikes.
her and her best friends just circled around each other as the girls talked.
"can you take me home kalani? " stacy asked, shivering. everyone looked at stacy.
kalani looked at her friends who nodded then at stacy. "yeah of course, i can ask my mom to pick me up. " kalani softly said. "here take my cardigan. " ami added, putting the cardigan on stacy's shoulders.
kalani side hugged stacy as the walked down the ledge. kalani's mom was already there so they took stacy and the rest of the girls home.

kalani was infront of andy's house, nervous. she knocked on the door until mrs.goldfarb opened the door.
"kalani! baby girl! it's been awhile since you came! andy's upstairs in his room! tell your mother i said hi! " mrs. goldfarb said, hugging kalani before she went upstairs.
"yes mrs. goldfarb! " kalani said, walking upstairs and going upstairs. since kalani is close with andy's older sister, she was always here, not so much no more since her and andy's sister don't have time to hangout anymore, but still every once in awhile.
kalani knocked on the door. "come in! " she heard andy yell. she opened the door as he turned his attention to her as she closed the door behind her.
he quickly walked up to her and kissed her. her eye's widen as she pulled him away. "and-" she was cut off by andy kissing her again. "i like you kalani, i know your loyal to stacy or whatever but please give me a chance. we can date secretly! " he said pulling away. "andy i-" "please lani." he begged.
kalani realized something, she liked andy, all this time every since they were friends in pre-k, she liked him. oh no.
she couldn't control her mind, nor her heart. "okay." she said smiling. "really? " "yes, now please kiss me before i change my mind. " kalani chuckled as he did that. they made-out for 3 minutes until they both pulled away, breathless, looking in each others eyes before smiling and laughing.
"kalani! you're moms here for you babygirl! " mrs. goldfarb yelled.
"coming mrs. goldfarb! " kalani yelled. "bye." "bye." they both said smiling.
then a though came to her mind.
