Prisha

"Sure, Aunty. Can we see her picture?" Prisha's question made their faces go pale and they looked at me maybe hoping for me to reject the idea but I nodded my head supporting Prisha's statement. They started to look here and there as they didn't expect us to act this cool and I am sure they didn't have any photos. How can they have a picture of a girl who doesn't even exist?

"Woh..Woh you know the girl's mom said she will send the picture in a while. But Adi don't you have anyone in your life? Someone you like and want to share your life with?" Maa made an excuse and asked a question before we could cross-question her. I decided to let it pass and looked at Prisha before turning back to Maa.

"For now, I am planning to have a bunny in my room, I can cuddle her to sleep and wake up in her embrace, with whom I can do much more than that," I said looking at Prisha whose cheeks turned a beautiful shade of pink as she realized I was talking about her. Our mothers on the other hand looked at me like I had gone nuts.

"Leave this idiot. Prisha beta, you tell me. Don't you feel like having someone in your life?" Maa turned to Prisha with hearty eyes hoping she would confess but my darling's sweet smile said otherwise.

"I actually want a superhero for myself Aunty. Someone who can make me feel safe, someone who can protect me from danger, I want to be in that Super Hero's presence 24/7, with his eyes focused on me even when we are in the middle of the crowd, I want him in my room," I cocked a brow at her last statement and she looked away with a shy smile when she realized what I was thinking making me chuckle internally.

"I think this girl has gone mad after that kidnap fascia, I should get her checked," Aunty talked to herself while Prisha stifled a giggle, pressing her teeth into her lower lip, making me want to lose control.

"I can still understand her, Ragini. My child is in trauma but look at my good-for-nothing son. Biwi laane ki Umar me janab ko bunny se khelna hai," Maa slapped her forehead making me laugh which I covered up with a cough seeing her glare at me.

(Sir wants to play with a bunny at the age of getting married,)

"Aunty, check your phone na. Did that girl's mother send her picture?"  Prisha's question made Mumma avert her glaring eyes from me as she groaned cupping her face before facing Prisha with a sarcastic smile.

"No. And now I decided to reject that proposal. I want someone else to marry Adi," Mumma gritted out glaring at both of us. She looked so done with both of us and I wanted to laugh out loud at her expressions but controlled myself.

"Who Maa?" I asked with fake enthusiasm. Prisha kicked me under the table making me yelp. I looked at her and she was already glaring at me.

"Prisha and you both are getting married the next Muhurat available," Mumma declared leaving our mouths hanging open.

"Aunty but," Prisha started but was cut off by her mother.

"What? Neither of you have anyone in your life and are of marriage age. You are getting married and that's final!" Both the ladies glared at us. I could imagine smoke coming out of their ears and their heads turning red as they show in the movies.

"Bathade?" I looked at Prisha with a raised brow and she nodded her head, biting her lip to control herself from bursting out. I got up from my place and walked to her. She placed her hand in mine and got up from her place. I pulled her closer and showed our intertwined hands in front of our mothers who were looking at us like we were some aliens.

(Let's tell them?)

"Dear mothers, we actually love each other. We wanted to tell it to you and take your blessings but you started your plotting and we had to show who we are," I wrapped a hand around Prisha's neck. Her cheeks turned red due to blushing while our mothers turned red in anger.

"I know you people are angry so we are leaving now. Please inform us when you get the dates finalized," Prisha took my hand off her shoulder and intertwined our fingers together.

"Adi run," and we ran from there. We ran out and got into the car. We drove a little away from home, stopped at the end of our road, and burst out laughing. The sun was setting spreading the golden hue over the origin. I looked beside me to find my girl laughing her heart out.

"Ishu," I called out softly and her head whipped to me with amusement dancing in her eyes. She raised a brow at me questioning her new nickname.

"I heard that Isha means The Ruler and love and you are both to me. You are the ruler of my heart and my love. I love you my Ishu!" I confessed kissing the back of her palm. She smiled softly and shifted herself into my lap making my eyes go wide.

"And you are my Adi. My first in everything and my superior priority. I love you, Adi. I love you so damn much!" She confessed with tears in her eyes which she blinked away but a stubborn tear rolled down her beautiful eyes onto her cheek.

I leaned closer and our warm breaths mingled together. I cupped her cheek gently, my thumb brushing against her soft skin, wiping away the wetness on her cheek. My thumb moved to her quivering lips and brushed against her soft petals making me take a sharp breath.

"We are on the road," I don't know whether I was reminding her or myself. She nodded but made no effort to move away.

"I know, but I need it right now," Her breath fanned my lips and I could feel a shiver run down my spine. Her soft skin felt warm and soft under my palm and I caressed it, joining our foreheads.

My heart raced, pounding in my chest as if trying to break free and reach her. She pressed her hand softly against my chest as if assuring my heart. Our eyes shut close, surrendering to the moment, not caring about our surroundings.

My lips found hers with a tenderness that sent shivers down my spine. This kiss was not like all those kisses we shared earlier. It was our promise. A promise of lifelong togetherness and love. The kiss deepened as we sucked each other's lips, slowly, as if we have all the time in the world. We didn't find the need to rush. The moment and this kiss is meant to be devoured.

We savored every sensation the kiss provided as my lips pressed against hers softly, yet firmly in a rhythm that felt achingly new yet familiar. The world around us slipped into oblivion, leaving only the intoxicating taste of her soft petals. Our breaths mingled exchanging the promises and emotions that didn't need words.

I left her lips with a last smooch and rested my forehead against hers, our eyes still closed as we panted to regain our breath, lost in the lingering magic of the kiss. I opened my eyes and found her looking at me. Her eyes conveyed the depths of love she has for me and I hoped my eyes did their job.

"Your heart is still beating at the same rate," She whispered against my lips, our lips touching as she spoke. I wrapped my hands around her waist and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. She wrapped her hands around my neck with a giggle, resting her head against my chest.

"It just needs you closer, Rabbit." I kissed her hair and she pressed herself more into my chest. I pushed my seat back and laid down with her in my lap. We enjoyed the comfortable silence around us with our hands intertwined together and our hearts beating in perfect symphony.

"Adi, we are not rushing into this marriage, right?" She asked after a while, her fingers twisting the buttons of my shirt.

"I am damn sure about it, Ishu! I want to share my life with you. You are the one for me. But we can postpone it if you need more time or if you have any doubts about us," I assured her with a kiss on her temple as my fingers caressed her scalp.

"No, I am very sure about you, Adi. Maybe it's just wedding jitters. I want to marry you, Adi." She confessed kissing my chest and I nodded with a kiss on her hair.

"I love you to-be Mrs. Adithya Birla," I caressed her cheek and she turned to me, with her head resting against my chest.

"I too love you, Mr. Adithya Birla," She gently pecked my lisp and I tightened my hold around her pecking her lips again and again making her giggle and hit my chest with a shy smile.

"Are we getting shy, Ms. Mehra?" I teased her pecking her cheeks and she hid her face in the crook of my neck, kissing the side of my neck making me hold her waist in a tighter grip.

"You are making me, Mr. Mehra!" She mumbled against my neck making me laugh lightly.

"I've no problem in changing my last name for you, love," I confessed honestly. She looked up at me and we stared at each other for a few seconds and her lips found mine, again for a long, sensual kiss, filled with love.
