The room was wide, the walls lined with what must be a hundred different weapons.
All of which I had been thoroughly trained with.
The floors were protected with soft black mats, which had saved my ass on several occasions.
But what I'm sure drew Katsuki in the most was the Cage.
The Cage was a small raised section that was further separated by a chain link fence. There was a wooden circle in the center of it that was about 6 feet in diameter, which rose 10 feet up when a specific button was pressed.
This was where I had my first kill.
It had been chance more than anything. My foot had somehow planted itself behind my opponent's foot, and he'd tripped backward only to land on his neck. He didn't get back up.
I blinked, and the body disappeared, replaced with the clean floor.
A fake smile spread on my lips with a charismatic look in my eyes. "Well?"
Katsuki, having drunk everything, hid the smile creeping on his cheeks with a scowl that wasn't fooling either of us. "It's fine or whatever, I guess."
"Oh?" I teased as I leaned in. "You guess?"
He scoffed and started walking towards the ring. "Let's just train already."
I hummed softly, headed towards a weapons rack. "Let's start with a bo, shall we?"
He raised a brow, turning back towards me. "What for? Those overgrown sticks are useless in a real fight."
I laughed, picking one up. "Is that so?" My heel swivled towards him. "Then why don't you get in the ring, and we can test that theory."
He scoffed once more, a reflex it seemed.
I leaned close to his ear and opened the gate. "Or are you scared?"
My feet gracefully carried me into the cage with Katsuki hot on my tail.
"SCARED? I'LL SHOW YOU SCARED." He threw a punch as I tutted.
"Katsuki, I haven't even told you the rules of this yet." I feigned disappointment.
He pushed out a breath harshly, turning his head away from me. "Fine, spit it out then."
I assumed a seemingly careless stance that presented no vulnerable areas under scrutiny. "You come at me any way you want. Use your quirk if you want. I just use the staff. First on their backs or stomach loses." My eyes glinted. "Start."
He jumped, fist curled with fire.
I stepped forward, caught his stomach on the end of my staff, and slammed it and him on the ground. "This overgrown stick just beat your ass."
He groaned limbs splayed. "Go fuck yourself."
My eyes rolled as I reach a hand out for him to grab. "Why, you wanna watch, Perv?"
He gave me a look of disgust and swatted my hand away with rosy cheeks. "You're disgusting."
My shoulders lift into a shrug. "You're the one into it."
He glared, getting pinker still.
Yeah, I was sure about that crush now.
I smiled flirtatiously. "Tell you what, Kats. You can beat me in any weapon or even just hand to hand combat, and maybe I'll let you take me on a date." I analyzed my nails, picking at cuticles.
A smirk rivaling my own painted his lips. "You're on, you damn Mirror."
I raised a brow, crossing my legs. "That's a new one."
He threw another punch, which I caught, with a hellish grin. "Yeah."
4 Hours Later...
Katsuki did not win a fight, and as such, did not take me on a date.
He scowled as he chugged his water, sweat dripping from his everything.
I lightly patted my face dry and took a sip of my water. "You seem thirsty." I said nonchalantly, holding down a cackle.
"OH FUCKING REALLY?" He glared at me.
"Yes." I walked toward the door so he couldn't see my face turning purple from not breathing in attempt to hold back laughter. "I'll be in the car."
Soon as the car door shut behind me, I started wheezing. "OH MY FUCKING FUCK, THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME."
"What was?" Selwyn asked.
I screeched, then calmed down once I realized it was the A.I. I clutched my chest to calm down the beats. "Holy fuck, you scared me."
