We're going after Finn, Clarke and Monty in the morning." "And I told you. Nobody leaves this camp." He wants to run away, but she runs after him. "Im talking to you. We can't just abandon our people. You wanna lead them? Show them you give a damn."
A gunshot rings out and we all look up at the boy who shot him. Bellamy immediately runs to him. "What the hell is matter with you?" "Sorry. I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day." "We've all been on watch all day!" He grabs him by his jacket and stretches him into the tree. "That bullet was one less dead Grounder!"
I run up to the guard post. "Bellamy, you're scaring people." "They should be scared. The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is over. The Grounders are out there now, waiting for us to leave, then picking us off one by one. Clarke, Finn and Monty are gone. Probably dead. And if you want to be next, I can't stop you. But no weapons leave this camp. This camp is the only thing keeping us alive!" He is full of rage. "Get back to work."

I hear Jasper and Bellamy talking about Clarke, Finn and Monty in the drop-ship and go in. "I am doing what I think is right for the group." "It's funny you didn't think that way when Octavia went missing." Jasper puts the gun on the table and is ready to climb the stairs. "Where are you going?" "More gunpowder for your minefield, sir."
After Jasper has disappeared upstairs, Bellamy turns round and sees me. He looks at me like I'm mad at him, but I'm not. I'm not saying it's the right decision he's made, but at the end of the day he's trying to keep us all alive. He walks over to me and puts his hands around my hips. "Are you okay?" I nod and look into his beautiful eyes. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you." He gives me a kiss on the forehead and then runs outside.
I see something lying on the floor and am about to pick it up when Murphy comes in. He doesn't notice me as I'm standing in the corner. My heart stops when he puts a plastic bag over my head and suffocates it. "This is for tying the noose that they hung me with." Before I could do anything, he was dead. Jasper comes down the stairs and Murphy sees him while he still hasn't discovered me.
He stopped breathing. I was just- I was trying to help him." Jasper nods and carefully walks down the stairs as they both look at the gun on the table. All three of us immediately run towards it, but Murphy gets to it first. "Lillya?" His eyes turn to me as he holds the loaded gun at us. "Murphy, just put the gun down." "He tried to kill me." Jasper takes a step back and Murphy immediately points the gun at his head.
"Hey, don't move." "Okey." I'm still standing next to Jasper, trying to calm him down. I slowly hold out my hand too. "Murphy just out that guny down please." "I can't." "Its cool." Jasper. "No, its not. You know what happen if you tell Bellamy."
"Tell Bellamy what?!" Bellamy's voice rings out on the radio and I look down at Jasper's trousers where he's holding his radio. "Give me the radio, Jasper." He slowly pulls it out of his trouser pocket, one hand still outstretched. "Murphy has a gun. He killed Myles." "Shut the hell up." He immediately punches Jasper and takes the radio. I lunge at him, but he's already grabbing me and holding me down while he presses my back against his chest to prevent me from getting free.
"Murphy what the hell are you doing?!" Bellamy's voice rings out again and a tear flows down my face. This is the first time I've ever been really scared. He runs forward with me and closes the door of the drop ship. "Murphy! Open the damn door!" "If you try to play a hero, Jasper and your little princess dies."

"Murphy, I know you can hear me. All our ammo and food's are in the middle level, you know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack. I cant let that happen." Bellamy talks to Murphy while Jasper and I sit tied up on the floor. "Yeah, well, in case you haven't noticed, you're not exactly in control right now." "Come on Murphy, you don't wanna hurt them, you wanna hurt me." "So what do you say?"
I look over at Jasper, our mouths are tied shut with a cloth so I can't speak, but I look at him to reassure him. "How about you trade them for me?" I start shaking my head when I hear what Bellamy is up to and try to shout, but I can't. "All you have to do is let them go and I will take their place." A grin spreads across Murphy's face, which I would love to shave off.
"How?" "Simple. You open the door... I walk in, they walk out." He grabs our clothes and pulls us up, forcing us to stand in front of the door. Slowly he lowers the door. "Just you, Bellamy, unarmed! Then seconds, ir I'll out one in Lillya's leg!" He starts counting down. After Bellamy runs in, he looks at me and Murphy takes aim at him. I refuse to go out, but Murphy kicks me outside. "No!" My scream is barely audible because I still have this damn scarf round my head.
I fall to the ground outside and see the door close again. Octavia immediately kneels down and frees us. "Are you okay?"

Jasper goes down to Raven under the drop-ship to find a way to open the door while me and Octavia wait frantically outside. I hear a gunshot and my heart stops. I immediately reach for Octavia's radio. "Bellamy? Bellamy, are you okay?" Octavia looks at me, equally terrified. "Bellamy, do you copy?" "I'm fine. Just a misfire. Stop worring about me and get back to work. All of you. And tell Raven to hurry her ass up."
I'm so scared that something will happen to him. My whole body is shaking, but then I feel someone grab my hand. Octavia holds my hand and we look at each other. "He's going to make it. We won't let him die." I nod and squeeze her hand.
More shots ring out and I look at Octavia. As soon as the door opens, I run in with Jasper and Octavia. My eyes fill with tears as I see Bellamy hanging from a rope. He's unconscious and I can barely breathe. Jasper immediately runs to him and grabs his legs to hold him up. "Bellamy hold on!" I grab my one knife and cut the belt. I try to catch him as best I can. "Bellamy breathe!" "Bell, breathe."
Me and Octavia pull the strap off and I grab his head. "Raven, hes fine." Bellamy gets up and runs to the ladder Murphy climbed earlier. "Murphy! Murphy! Its over!" A loud bang sounds as Bellamy finally gets the door to the top open. Murphy is gone.
More chaos and everyone goes outside. "Wait! Hold your fire. It's Clakre and Finn. Open the gate." They open the gate and the two run in. "Hey, we heard an explosion. What happend?" "Murphy happend." I run up to Clarke and throw my arms around her. "Thank god." She hugs me back and we let go of each other so I can hug Finn too. "Where have you been? Where's Monty?" Jasper comes over and hugs her too. "Monty's gone?" "Clakre we need to leave now. All of us do. There's an army of Grounders unlike anything we've seen coming for us right now. We need to pack what we can and run."
"We don't give a damn. We knew this was coming." "Bell, we weren't prepared." "And they're not here yet. We still have time to prepare. Besides, where would we go? Where would we be safer than behind these walls?" "There's an ocean to the east. The people there will help us." Finn. "You expect us to trust the Earthlings? This is our home now. We built it with our bare hands from nothing. Our dead are buried behind this wall, in this soil. Our soil. The Grounders think they can take it away from us. They think that because we come from heaven, we don't belong here. But they have yet to realise a very important fact. We are on the ground now and that means we are earthlings. I say let them come."
Clarke runs to him. "Bellamy's right. If we leave, we may never find a place as safe as this again. And God knows, something even worse could await us tomorrow in this world. But that doesn't change the fact that if we stay here, we'll die tonight. So pack your bags. Take only what you can carry. Now." Everyone starts to move and do as Clarke said.
"Help me." I look to the doorway and see Raven limping in. "Raven!" "Murphs shot her." "Get her into the rescue ship."
