I was backstage at Monday night Raw. It had been a long night of interviews and trying to dodge the backstage fights that happened. All I wanted to do was get some food on the way back to the hotel, eat and take a hot shower before going to bed.
"Hey y/n do you want to join us for dinner? There's a bunch of us going," Liv asks
"Not tonight, I'm going to get food on the way back to the hotel. I'm exhausted,"
"You good to drive yourself back?" Rhea asks
I nod, "I'll be fine,"
"Well if you change your mind text one of us, we'll come get you," Liv says
I finished packing up my bag and walking out to the car, saying goodbye to some of my friends on the way out.
"There you are love, why aren't you coming with us?" Dom asks
Dom and I had been dating for almost a year, and we rarely got to spend time together with us living across the country from each other.
"I'm just really tired Dom, I'm going to grab something on the way to the hotel. I just want to shower and go to sleep,"
"Alright, I don't know what time I'll be back. I'll try to be quiet so I don't wake you,"
"Sounds good babe, I'll see you later,"
I get into my rental car and start driving toward the hotel. I stopped by McDonald's on the way and got myself dinner which I quickly ate as I drove back to the hotel.
Once I parked my car, I get my trash and suitcase out of the car. I throw my trash away before walking inside and getting in the elevator. I rode the elevator up to the fourth floor and walked down to our room.
As soon as I walked into the room I instantly went into the bathroom to shower. I had just gotten into the shower when I heard my phone ringing which I chose to ignore.
Once I got out of the shower I wrapped myself in a towel and walked back out to the bedroom. I dry off and put my pajamas on before laying down.
I knew why I was so exhausted. I had been hiding a huge secret from everyone. I knew that I was pregnant but not even Dom knew yet.
After my previous miscarriage I refused to tell anyone about my pregnancy atleast until the second trimester. I closed my eyes and gently rubbed my stomach until I fell asleep
I was woken up by Dom getting in the bed next to me. I slowly sit up and rub my eyes.
"Sorry babe, I didn't mean to wake you up,"
I yawn, "it's fine, I have to pee again anyway,"
I slowly got up and went to the bathroom. Once I came back out, Dom was sitting up in bed waiting for me.
I get back in bed next to him and lay my head on his shoulder.
"You okay baby?" He asks
I nod, "I'm just tired, being pregnant is hard,"
I instantly froze realizing the words that had just come out of my mouth
Dom looks over at me, "you're pregnant?"
I look down at my feet and don't speak. Fear started to creep into my mind.
"Baby talk to me,"
"I'm scared Dom, that's why I didn't tell you. I wanted to make sure everything was good before I told you,"
He pulled me into his lap and held me into his arms. "I know you're scared, but I'm going to be here no matter what the outcome.
"I just found out this week,"
"We won't tell anyone yet, except Hunter needs to know so they don't put you in a dangerous situation,"
"Thank you Dom, you always know how to calm me down,"
"Always my love. Let's lay down and go to bed. I know you're exhausted,"
He wraps his arms around me and places a hand on my still flat stomach. I closed my eyes and almost instantly fell asleep in his arms.
