"So Samuel, what I am hearing is, you went to New York with Calvin to study videography. You want to start doing some short films first with the hopes of having the opportunity to work on big films." Peyton told Samuel, setting her drink down on the table.
"Yeah, Peyton, that's the brief summary." Samuel said to Peyton, picking up his own drink from the table.
"Samuel, do you know what your first short film is going to be about?" I asked Samuel, jumping into the conservation.
"Actually, I have an idea, what my first short film is going to be about. I need to finish writing the script and choose a name." Samuel replied to my question, making direct eye contact with me.
"I can't wait to hear more details when you are ready to share it with you." I told him, returning the eye contact.
"There is one thing that I know for sure, Aubree, since you are an actress. There is one character from my short film that I would love for you to portray if you are up for it." Samuel told me, still keeping eye contact.
"Thank you for thinking of me but before making any quick decisions, I would like to give it some thought and speak with my manager." I said, reaching for my pina colada to take a sip.
"Yeah, of course, I understand. All that I want is for you to think about it and if you need to have a conversation with your manager please do it, take all the time you need to make a decision."
"I will, thank you Samuel." I told him, setting my drink back on the table then I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. "Okay enough about me and Samuel, Calvin please share your process on your growing music's career with us." I moved the topic of conversation away from Samuel and I.
"Both Aubree and Samuel already know about my music career but I am going to be saying it again for Peyton and Tristan. The first time I performed original music for a live audience full of strangers was the night we saw each other. The following day, I received an email from a music producer that wanted to represent me. I signed the contract with them about a week ago. This past week, I started recording some of my songs in a professional recording studio. If everything goes like our plans, I am on track to be reading my debut album at the beginning next year." Calvin shared a brief update with us, there was excitement coming out from his voice.
"Did everyone hear this? It looks like we are going to have a friend who is a singer! Wow, Calvin, man that's exciting, I am looking forward to hearing your first album." Tristan spoke, matching Calvin's excitement.
"Babe, I agree with you. It looks like we have some talented people in our friend group." Peyton spoke after her boyfriend, she gave him a kiss on his right cheek.
"Not waiting to get super ahead of myself but I cannot wait to see Calvin's music taking over the world." Samuel said, earning a laugh from all of us.
"I second that, Samuel." I said, smiling softly.
"Thank you, everyone for your support. Aubree, Peyton and Tristan I had forgotten how supportive all of you are. Oh, by the way, there is no need to wait until my first album is out to be able to hear it because I am going to give you an early access. After all, you four are my friends." Calvin told us, smiling brightly while he looked at each one of us.

It felt like a good choice to watch a scary movie at the movie theater in honor of October, the month of Halloween. This was a perfect choice because all five of us enjoyed watching scary movies. We divided ourselves into a group of two, Calvin and Samuel driving together to the movie theater meanwhile, Peyton, Tristan and I are in the same car.
Tristan is sitting down on the passenger's seat next to his girlfriend and I am sitting down on the backseat behind Peyton.
"Peyton and Aubree, any music's requests?" Tristan asked us as his girlfriend started driving, exiting out of the diner;s parking lot.
"Tristan, I don't have any requests right now, you can play anything you would like to hear." I replied to his question, retrieving my phone from my purse to check the notifications.
I unlocked my phone to see that the only notifications sitting on my screen were mostly from Instagram. I could check them later so I placed my phone back inside my purse.
"Babe, you are in the passenger seat, so you can choose. I don't mind listening to anything. I love your music taste." Peyton replied to his boyfriend's question as she stopped at our first red light.
"Aww well, thank you babe." Tristan told his girlfriend, looking at her, smiling softly.
During our entire ride, we listened to and sang to songs from our favorite plays both movies and Broadway ones. The three of us sang our little hearts out just like we always do since we were teenagers with our own cars.
As the current song had finished playing in the background I saw Peyton entering into the parking lot and then she started parking her car into an available parking slot. "Bree and Tris, we have arrived at our destination." Peyton announced as she turned off her car, took her keys out of the ignition, unbuckled her seat belt and hopped down from her car.
I unblocked my seat belt, opened the door, I hopped down from her car, I picked up my purse from the seat and closed the door. At the moment Tristan and myself had gotten down from her car, Peyton locked her car before we started walking towards the entrance of the movie theater.
Tristan quickly walked ahead of us to open the door, instead of walking inside he held the door opened for us. "Thank you, Tristan." I thanked him, being the first one who walked inside.
"Thank you, babe. I love it when you are gentlemen." I heard Peyton telling her boyfriend behind me.
Soon as I was inside, the first saw was both Calvin and Samuel making their way towards us with drinks and popcorn buckles in their hands.
"Come on Aubree, Peyton and Tristan, we have a movie to watch." Calvin told us, as he approached us first.

"Aubree, I have something to share with you." Calvin all the sudden told me as he and I were the first ones to walk out from the movie theater holding leftover popcorn in our hands.
"What do you need to share with me?" I asked him, hoping that my face didn't showed how I surprised to hear talk to making conversation with me.
We had just finished watching the movie and let me say it was amazing, my favorite part was the plot twist towards near the end of the movie. Calvin and I as soon as we walked outside, instantly I was greeted by the cold wing of the night. Of course, being me, I brought my red jacket with me in case I would be getting cold.
Spending time with Calvin and Samuel tonight, I had a feeling of déjà vu in my entire body. There is a little part of me that hopes my best friend and myself get to plan another hang out with them again.
"Aubree, I started reading the book recommended by you when we were at your mother's bookstore the other day." Calvin told me, stopped walking and started looking at me.
"Oh yeah, so what do you think so far?" I asked him, leaning my back against the wall of the building, making eye contact with him. "Please be fully honest with me, don't hide anything from me just because I am the daughter of the author."
Instead of mirroring my movements, Calvin stood in front of me leaving meters between us. "Aubree, I promise that my thoughts are going to be 100 percent truthful. From what I have read so far, I am enjoying it. Your father's writing doesn't fall to keep me on my toes at the end of each chapter. Just by his words, I can tell that your father is a good author. Now I know why his books are so good and well known." Calvin shared his opinion with me, maintaining his eyes on me.
I couldn't stop my lips from moving upwards to form a wide smile. I always love hearing about how much people are loving and enjoying my father's books, especially if I was the one who made the recommendation.
"I am glad to hear that you are enjoying my father's book so far. My father has always been like that, he loves leaving his readers on their toes in each chapter, that's just his thing. That book is one of my father's favorite books that he has written. My father highly hopes one day in the future, his book gets the opportunity to be adapted into a movie or a TV series." I told him, putting on my red jacket on my body. "I will be looking forward to your final opinion when you are done with your reading."
"Aubree, I promise you that my final opinion will be delivered to your text messages." Calvin told me, breaking eye contact with me and he looked over his shoulder to see where the rest of our group were. They were standing just inches away from us, having their own conservation. "I can see your father's book being a movie." Calvin returned his focus back to me.
"I can see it too, Calvin." I spoke, agreeing with him. "We will see what happens."

It appears that Aubree and Calvin are starting to get along.
