I actually don't even like twenty one pilots. 😂

-

I sat in bed, drinking the wonderful bottle of wine that I bought.

"Alli?"

I took a drink and looked at him. "Yes?"

"Want to put that down?"

"No." I frowned.

"At least let me have some."

I sighed and handed it to him. "Wow, this is good."

I raised my hands in the air. "I told you!"

"I could've found out sooner, but someone wouldn't let me have any."

I was too drunk to comprehend anything. "Who?"

He laughed hysterically. "You."

"Hey, shit that good-"

I was cut off by my phone ringing. Without looking, I let my hand find it.

Eventually, I found it.

"Allison Ortiz speaking."

"Alli?" Kelsey's voice said shakily.

"Mhm?" I took the bottle from Juice.

"Wes is gone. I went to his parent's house and they said they haven't seen him in 2 days. Wes said he was going to look at a house and hasn't came back."

"Good for him." I said enthusiastically.

"Alli, do you even hear yourself? I mean, he's your best friend. You-"

"Was," I corrected, "I'm letting him live his life. He's better off without me."

"Who are you?"

I took another sip. "I'm Allison Ortiz."

Juice took the phone out of my hand.

"Hey!" I whined.

"Look-" He was cut off.

He paused and looked at me.

"I understand. She's drunk right now, so she doesn't know what she's saying."

I raised my eyebrows. "I am not. I know exactly what I'm saying."

He nodded. "Yeah. Alright, bye."

He put my phone down.

"You really don't care?" He asked.

"I hold grudges. No, I don't care. He isn't missing. He left, he's 18."

"How do you know?"

"He told me."

"Alli, you know where he is and you didn't say anything?"

I rolled my eyes and looked at him. "No, he didn't tell me. He said he was leaving for good. That's it."

He looked like he didn't believe me. Of course he didn't. Nobody did.

"If you don't fucking believe me check my messages."

He picked my phone up and did. I continued to finish off my wine.

"Told you." I said.

"I still think you should care at least a little. I know what he said to you was wrong, but still."

I took my phone and got up. I almost fell, but I made my way to the door.

"Where are you going?"

"I want to be alone." I said as I shut the door behind me.

I walked to the elevator and pressed the ground floor button.

I had every right to be angry. I don't know why everyone thought I shouldn't be. Even Juice. Of all people, I thought he would understand.

The doors opened. Wes stood there. His expression was surprised. He had dark circles under his eyes.

"Fantastic." I sighed and walked past him.

"Alli, wait." He grabbed my hand and I flipped around and smacked him.

"No. Why are you here? Did you follow me?"

"I didn't know you were here. I came here to get away from you."

That kind of hurt.

"Get away from me? I should be the one getting away from you." I shot back.

He shook his head. "I didn't mean it like that. You obviously want nothing to do with me, so I moved away."

"Kelsey called me and said you were missing. I said I didn't care and she got pissed off at me," I looked away, "so did Juice."

"Alli, we need to talk about this. I didn't mean what I said. Just like now. You don't mean what you're saying because you're drunk." He said.

I shook my head and laughed. "I mean every damn word of it."

"I don't believe that for a second." He squinted a bit.

"You should." I crossed my arms.

"I love you, Alli. I just want you to be happy."

"Yeah," I huffed, "okay."

I turned and walked out the doors.

Juice

Allison was pissed. Great. I just think she would be a little concerned about where he is.

A knock on the door. Who could it be? I didn't know anyone besides Alli.

I opened it to see Wes. His cheek had a red handprint on it.

I pointed at it briefly. "Alli?"

He nodded. "Yeah."

I moved so he could walk in. He did.

"Sorry, she's a little-" I stopped.

"Angry?"

"God, no. That's an understatement." I laughed.

"I'm assuming you're pissed too?" He sat on the edge of the bed.

"Yes, I am," I admitted, "I don't think you should've said what you did to her. It really hurt her. Drunk or not, it wasn't acceptable."

"I know, I know. I tried to apologize. She said she meant every word she said to me."

I looked at him. "Why are you here?"

"You think I followed her."

I nodded and crossed my arms as I leaned against the wall. "Yep."

"I didn't. I actually came to get away from her. I didn't know she would be here. I knew she wanted nothing to do with me, so I left without telling anybody."

"How'd you get the money to come here?"

He was silent. "Some things happened. I went to Jace. Of all people."

"You're a fucking idiot." I said.

"He told me if I sold drugs to people, then he'd give me half of the profit made."

I looked at him. He was guilty of something. It was written all over his face.

"You didn't."

He stood up. "All I ask is that you treat her right."

"Please tell me you didn't do drugs." I frowned.

"I wish I could."

"What drug?"

"Cocaine and heroin."

I shook my head. "Stop. For her."

"You can't tell her."

"Wes, she may me furious with you, but she doesn't want you doing anything like that."

"Don't tell her." He begged.

I nodded. "Okay."

"Thanks."

He walked out. I was telling her. She deserved to know. Maybe this would change things with them.
