"About that..." Lan Xichen was uncomfortable in talking about this and just sighed. He went to Nie Huaisang and sat beside him. Nie Huaisang still has his guard up but gave a confused look at Lan Xichen. It seemed like that his theory has a small percentage that it is true.
"Wei-Gongzi...did confess it all. He tricked us, even though he helped us many times."
Nie Huaisang was shocked, but he really didnt fully believed it. "Wei-xiong really did those? Could there be any proof? Aside from the confession?"
Lan Xichen breath hitched. Now it was his turn to be shocked. His mind went blank to the question and looked at Nie Huaisang. "I dont think there actually is. I vaguely recall most of it was Wei-Gongzi confessing it all."
Nie Huaisang opened his fan and fanned himself,. But with the fan covering his face, there was a smile behind that fan. He had figured it out. 'My theory was right. But how did that son of a prostitute made them forget? A spell or a curse? Perhaps a Tailsman?'
"Huaisang!"
Nie Huaisang snapped back to reality as Lan Xichen took a hold of his shoulders shaking him gently. He finally closed his fan and with a neutral look he looked at Lan Xichen, keeping a slightly sad smile. With this act, perhaps can he get more information?
"Ah, sorry Er-ge. I was wondering about something."
Lan Xichen then was relieved by Nie Huaisang was okay, but the question made him curious. "What were you wondering about Huaisang?"
"Ah, you see Er-ge. How did you only vaguely remember those times in the Guanyin Temple? It was only recently, how did you forget some of it?" Nie Huaisang asked Lan Xichen with his usual innocent look. Then there was Lan Xichen who was stunned by the many questions.
"I...I...I dont know...How come?" Lan Xichen could only answer with a question on how did he forget mostly about the things happening in the Guanyin Temple.
"Well...Er-ge...Have you noticed anything uncanny or weird going on?" Nie Huaisang then asked Lan Xichen again. He could only think back to when he woke up in the Guanyin Temple and saw Jin Guangyao and a beaten up Wei Wuxian beside him on the floor. "Well, there is one time...I think."
As Lan Xichen said that sentence, he felt like his head was a thumping hard and like it was about to explode. He then held his temple and tried to make it better by massaging it. Nie Huaisang noticed this and looked at Lan Xichen with a worried look.
"Er-ge, are you okay?"
Lan Xichen waved his hand and with a strained smile. "No Huaisang, Im fine."
He sighed and turned to Huaisang. "Its just that...there is one time...I woke up in the Temple. And I saw A-Yao standing there and with Wei-Gongzi on the ground. He looked quite beaten up at the time. But he was the only one who was bloodied and Sect Leader Jiang and the others were just on the ground passed out. I found it somehow uncanny, but A-Yao just reassured me on how Wei-Gongzi was now restrained and that he wasnt going to hurt us anymore."
Nie Huaisang listened intently and with the speaking words of the first jade, he now neede more information. "Did San-ge ever told you why Wei-Xiong was beaten up?"
Lan Xichen's head thumped heavily again. He furrowed his eyebrows and started massaging his head again. The feeling was slightly painful, but he can tolerate it. "No...A-Yao didnt tell me." Nie Huaisang then noticed this again. He was slightly worried for Lan Xichen, but this could also be another clue.
"Er-ge, are you really okay? You seem...unwell."
"No...Im not sure. My head suddenly hurts...I feel like theres...*sighs* Im not sure."
'I've got it.'
Nie Huaisang smiled mentally and kept his act up still. "Er-ge, perhaps are you tired? Should I prepare a room for you?"
Lan Xichen smiled at the Nie and nodded. "That would be great. Thank you Huaisang and I apologize for the trouble."
Nie Huaisang opened his fan and closed his eyes happily. 'No need to apologize, you are helping me a lot Er-ge' He thought mentally and sent a disciple to prepare a room for Lan Xichen.

Hellow again! This was pretty long one for me, but then again i forgot what Huaisang call Jin Guangyao. So i just guessed. Since Im kind of forgetful😅 Uhm anyways, thank you for reading and see you next chapter!
