"No, and that final!"
I was having an argument with James about letting me go on a trip with him in the next two weeks.
"You're not the boss of me," I spat back.
"Honey, sit down don't strain yourself," James said calmly. I didn't realize I was now standing. I sit down and he continues talking. "You're almost seven months pregnant! The only thing I want you doing is relaxing. After that incident with your brother...I just don't know what's going to happen."
"I thought we had let that go."
"If anyone does anything to hurt you I'm not letting it go."
"But he hasn't tried anything after that."
"He's planning, Tori. He's good, not as good as me though. I've seen what he's done, or what you have done. It won't end well."
"Fine, but can we do something together. Like go out to dinner?"
"Yeah, that sounds good." He pulls me up from my seat. "But I want to get you a dress first."
