Satoru had just returned from meeting Megumi for the first time when his phone buzzed with an unknown number. He raised an eyebrow as he answered.
Satoru: Hello, Satoru Gojo speaking.
A soft voice came through the line, one he hadn't heard in years.
Satoru's mother: Hello, Satoru. I'm sorry to call you out of the blue like this. It's me—your mother.
Satoru's eyes widened in shock, his relaxed expression faltering.
Satoru: Mom?
The last time he saw his mother, he was only four years old. After his powers had begun to manifest, the elders separated him from his parents. When he started middle school, they moved overseas, far from the clan, and he hadn't heard from them since. Anger and disappointment flashed in his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure.
Satoru coldly replied: Well, this is... unexpected.
Satoru's mother: Listen, Satoru, I know I'm the last person you want to hear from, but I need your help. Please, come to Switzerland. There's something important I need to tell you.
Satoru clenched his jaw, irritation creeping into his voice.
Satoru: Can't you ask someone else? I'm kind of busy.
Satoru's mother: I wouldn't ask if it weren't urgent. This isn't about me—it's about your sister.
The mention of a sister made Satoru sit up, his surprise breaking through the façade.
Satoru: My sister?
---
Days later, Satoru found himself in a car, heading toward the address his mother had given him. His mind replayed their conversation from a few days ago.
Satoru still In disbelief: I have a sister? How does this involve me?
Satoru's mother: Because, like you, she inherited the Six Eyes and Limitless technique. No one in the jujutsu world knows about her—not the elders, not anyone. Please, Satoru... she needs your help. You're the only one who can understand her.
---
Now, as Satoru approached the house, he couldn't help but wonder about the situation. Two Six Eyes users with the Limitless technique born in the same era? That was unheard of. The jujutsu elders would be eager to snatch her up.
Satoru muttered to himself: Bet the elders would love to get their hands on this one.
Satoru stepped out of the car, and as the door opened, his mother greeted him. She looked older, but the warmth in her eyes remained the same. Tears welled up as she took in the sight of her son, now a tall, imposing figure.
Satoru's mother: Satoru... you've grown so much.
Before he could respond, she wrapped her arms around him. The unexpected warmth caught him off guard—it had been so long since he'd felt her embrace. He hesitated for a moment but then awkwardly hugged her back.
Satoru's mother: Come inside. Your father's eager to see you too.
They sat in the living room, sipping tea. The air was thick with unspoken words and unresolved emotions.
Satoru's father: There was an incident recently. Saori was playing in the nearby forest when a curse appeared. It wasn't strong—probably third grade—but her power manifested, and she exorcised it. Unfortunately, she lost control, and a few kids were hurt. Thankfully, no one died, but she's been hiding in her room ever since.
Satoru's mother: I manipulated the kids' memories so they'd believe it was a wild bear attack, but Saori's been terrified of her own power ever since. She's afraid she'll hurt someone again.
Satoru listened quietly, his emotions simmering beneath the surface. His parents had moved overseas to protect his sister, keeping her hidden from the jujutsu world. It was clear they had tried to avoid making the same mistakes they made with him.
Satoru: And no one else knows about her?
His parents exchanged guilty glances.
Satoru's mother: We didn't want her to go through what you did—being taken by the clan, raised as their tool. So we moved far away, where curses are rare and the jujutsu world doesn't reach. We know we failed you, Satoru... but we wanted a fresh start with Saori. To protect her from the same fate.
Satoru clenched his fists, feeling the weight of their words. A part of him was still angry—angry for being abandoned. But deep down, he understood their reasoning. At least they were trying now.
Satoru cleared his throat: Where's Saori? Can I meet her?
Satoru's mother: She's upstairs. I'll take you to her.
Upstairs, Saori was curled up on her bed, staring out the window when her mother gently knocked and entered.
Satoru's mother: Saori, there's someone here to meet you.
When Saori sat up, Satoru saw her for the first time. She looked so much like him, but with soft features and glowing sky-blue eyes—the same eyes he saw in the mirror every day.
Satoru smiled softly: You're Saori, right? It's nice to meet you. I'm Satoru—your big brother.
That moment, looking into her familiar eyes, Satoru knew he would do anything to protect her.
---
Present day...
In the present, Satoru sat with Megumi, discussing his next steps.
Satoru: Listen, Megumi, I have a mission for you. I need you to look after Saori while she's here.
Megumi gives a confused look: You want me to babysit your sister?
Satoru: More like be her bodyguard. She's my little sister, and I love her, but she's... stubborn. Doesn't always play by the rules.
Megumi scoff: Sounds familiar. Why can't you watch her yourself?
Satoru sighs: If I do, she'll feel suffocated and retaliate. But with someone her own age—especially you—she'll be more comfortable.
Megumi raised an eyebrow, clearly reluctant.
Megumi: Fine. But what about Kugisaki and Itadori? Shouldn't they help?
Satoru: This is a one-man job. Oh, and you'll also be her jujutsu instructor.
Megumi was in disbelief: Wait, what? I thought you didn't want her involved in jujutsu.
Satoru: I don't want the higher-ups to know about her. But she still needs to learn. I've trained her, but Japan's curses are different from what she's used to. You'll help her develop her skills here.
Megumi: Won't that catch the attention of other sorcerers?
Satoru: Nah, don't worry about it. Just keep her under the radar—no big missions.
Megumi sighed, feeling the weight of the responsibility.
Megumi: What did I just get myself into?
Satoru grins: The start of a beautiful partnership! I'm going away for a week or two. While I'm gone, make sure Saori stays out of trouble.
Megumi grumbles: Great... babysitting Gojo's sister. Just what I needed.

Two weeks later
Saori and Megumi are in the park making their laps, when she stops to catch her breath.
Saori: Fushiguro, I think that's enough cardio for today, my legs are killing me.
They both find an empty beach to sit on and rest, Megumi notices Saori looking at the ice cream cart in front of them. He rolls his eyes and gets up..
Saori: where are you...
She sees him walk up to the ice cream cart and back to where she's sitting, he takes a seat next to her and hands her an ice cream.
Megumi: Here, I noticed you were looking at it earlier, you know if you wanted one you could have just asked.
Her eyes glimmered as she accepted the treat from him: Mmmmmmm!!! This tasted so good!! What flavour did you get?
Megumi: Chocolate...
He notices her the way she's looking at his ice cream.
Megumi sighs: Here, you can try some..
Saori eyes glimmer once more: Really??!
She takes a small bite: mmmmmm!!
Megumi: You really are Satoru's sister...
Saori: Huh?
Megumi: Uh nothing, it's just that you have an obsession for sweet treats just like Gojo.
Saori chuckles: Where do you think I get my sweet tooth from?
Megumi smiles and shakes his head: Hey, I've been meaning to ask.. Don't you get tired from your six eyes? I mean Gojo sensei has to cover his eyes most of the time because if he doesn't he'll get overwhelmed.
Saori chuckles: Not at all, I actually found a loophole for that.
Megumi cocks an eyebrow: Huh?
Saori: Think of it as a regulator between the brain and the eyes. As long as that regulator is there the amount of curse energy I perceive is at a minimum. The only drawback is I can't use my technique to its full potential unless I shut it off. Shutting it off is easy, turning it back on that's a whole other ritual that takes weeks, even months.
Megumi: Wait so all this time, you were only using less than half of your curse energy?
Saori: More like less than a quarter. They were all just 4th and 3rd grade curses. Not to brag but I could easily do 2nd grades even in this state.
Wait, if that was only a quarter of her cursed energy, that means if she uses her full potential could she be even stronger than sensei?
Megumi: So does that mean you don't run your limitless technique on a loop like he does either?
Saori: Nope, it's not even on right now. Satoru grew up in the eyes of the jujutsu world, the moment his birth was known a bounty on his head. Meanwhile I grew up without anyone knowing of my existence and I'm grateful to both my parents and Satoru because of that I got to have a normal life without constantly worrying whether there will be some assassin after me.
Saori pauses and takes a bite of her ice cream.
Saori: I can choose to activate my infinity whenever I want to. Satoru doesn't have that privilege.
Megumi: You know most sorcerers would kill to have a normal life. Our line of work usually doesn't end well for most.
Saori: I know and I know that's what he wants for me to live a normal life and grow old. But I'm far from anything normal in fact compared to Satoru, I'm an anomaly, something that shouldn't exist in the first place. Not to sound like someone righteous. I'm far from that. I have my own selfish reasons. But what's the use of being born with all this talent if I have to watch the ones I love carry the burden alone?
Megumi sat there in thought while eating his ice cream.
For someone who carries a lot of burden on her shoulders she sure is good at hiding it with a smile, just like someone I know.
Saori gets a text message on her phone. Megumi's side eyes trying to see who it could be.
Megumi: Your boyfriend texting you or something?
Saori raised an eyebrow: Huh? Of course not! I don't have one. I was replying to Nobara's text, she and Yuji can't join us for dinner tonight because they're assigned a last minute mission.
Megumi looks away: Oh..
Saori: Wait, were you actually jealous when you thought I was texting another guy?
Megumi blushes and stutters: No I wasn't, it was just a rhetorical question.
Saori grins cheekily: If you say so..
Megumi's cheeks turn even more red: Anyway we should get home, we'll go out to dinner after we have a shower and freshen up.
Saori: Aww but my legs are still tired and it's a few blocks away to the penthouse.
Megumi rolls his eyes and sighs: Fine I'll carry you on my back but you can't tell Satoru or the others about this.
Saori chuckles with glee and hops on Megumi's back, and they proceed to head home.
A little while later they arrive at the entrance of the building.
Megumi: Well, we're here, you can get down now.
Saori fell asleep during their walk home.
She fell asleep? Well then I guess I'll have to carry her all the way up then.
Megumi carries Saori on his back until they finally reach her bedroom, he then places her gently down on the bed being careful not to wake her up. As his hands slowly let go of her, her hand suddenly grabs hold of his.
Saori murmurs: Don't go..
Megumi: huh?
She then lets go and turns around: fluffy cheesecake.
Megumi shakes his head: Can't believe she's talking about dessert in her sleep, she really is something else.
For some reason he couldn't bring himself to leave the room as he watched her sleep, Megumi gently tucked the few strands of hair that was covering her face behind her ears.
He watched as the moonlight shined against her smooth porcelain skin.
She's really pretty... Wait what am I thinking? She's Gojo's sister. Get it out of your head Megumi.
Megumi sighs: I'll see if there's anything I can use to cook dinner. You sleep well, Saori.
A few hours later..
Saori wakes up from her sleep and rubs her eyes: What are we back home? Did Megumi carry me all the way back to my room? Wait, it's already 9pm? Have I been out that long?
Something catches Saori's sense of smell.
Something smells good.
She gets up and heads towards the kitchen where she finds Megumi cooking.
Megumi: Hey you're up, go get a shower. I'll be done in a bit.
Later that day...
Yuji and Nobara are out on a mission, after defeating A grade 1 curse spirit they find themselves covered in its guts.
Nobara whines: Awwww great and I just had this dry cleaned. I can't believe we're stuck here on curse spirit duty while Fushiguro gets to play bodyguard to my precious Saori!!
Meanwhile....
Saori sneezes: ahhchoo!!
Megumi hands her a tissue: Are you catching a cold or something?
Saori: No, there must be some dust. This chicken curry is really good by the way.
Megumi: Yeah since Tsumiki and I grew up without any adults we pretty much had to learn how to do stuff like this on our own.
Saori smiles: Well if I knew this from the start I would have asked you to cook instead of ordering take out everyday. Sorry if I can't cook.
Megumi: Hey it's okay. If you'd like, you could help me out with dinner tomorrow.
Saori smiles: Really? It's a date then...
Wait, did she say it was a date?
Megumi: Hey, you wanna watch a movie after dinner?
Saori smiles: Sure! I'll even make popcorn.
Megumi: ....
Saori: Don't worry, that I can do..
They were in their second movie when Saori's head suddenly drops on Megumi's shoulder.
Well, looks like she's asleep again. Compared to Gojo she sure likes to sleep. If I move too much she might wake up. Her hair feels so soft and it smells really good.
Megumi decides not to wake Saori up. He adjusts his arm so he can wrap his arm around her shoulder and uses his other arm to cover the both of them with a blanket. After that he continued to watch the movie until he too fell asleep.
That morning....
Satoru: Wakey... Wakey... love birds...
