Scarlett

The weight of the conversation with Alexander still hung in the air, but now there was a quiet stillness between us. The warmth of his arms around me, the steadiness of his breath - it was enough to make me feel safe, secure, loved. His hand, which had been resting on my back, moved gently in slow circles, lulling me into a state of calm. But beneath the surface, I could feel something else simmering. A tension that hadn't quite faded from the moment he walked in.

I lifted my head from his shoulder to meet his gaze, and there it was - his dark, stormy eyes filled with something primal, something deep. Desire. It flickered between us like a spark ready to ignite. I swallowed, suddenly aware of how close we were, the heat of his body seeping into mine. His hand slid from my back, down to my waist, pulling me a little closer, his fingertips pressing into my skin like he couldn't bear the thought of any space between us.

"Alexander," I whispered, my voice betraying the need I felt blooming inside me.

"Shh," he hushed me softly, his thumb brushing over my lips. "You don't have to say anything."

And then he kissed me. Slow at first, gentle, as though giving me time to pull back if I wanted to. But I didn't. I kissed him back, leaning into the heat of his mouth, his tongue tracing the outline of my lips before diving deeper. Every movement was deliberate, full of want, yet restrained. His other hand cupped the side of my face, and the way he touched me - it felt like I was the only thing that mattered in the world.

His kisses grew hungrier, more insistent. The slow burn of our desire finally beginning to take over. I could feel his fingers slipping beneath the hem of my shirt, grazing the soft skin of my stomach. His touch sent a jolt of electricity through me, and I couldn't stop the small gasp that escaped my lips. He pulled back slightly, his lips ghosting over my ear.

"Scarlett," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, but it was enough to send a shiver down my spine.

His hands moved to cradle my face, fingers threading through my hair as he pulled me closer, his mouth claiming mine with a hunger that I hadn't felt from him before. It was as if everything he had been holding back, all the passion, the desire, the need - it was all there, in the way his lips moved against mine, in the way his body pressed closer to mine, demanding more.

I gasped when his lips trailed down from my mouth to my jawline, his breath hot against my skin. He kissed the sensitive spot just below my ear, and I couldn't help the small moan that escaped me. His name slipped from my lips like a prayer, and I felt him smile against my neck before he moved lower, his mouth now trailing down to my collarbone.

"I want you, Scarlett," he murmured, his voice rough with desire. "But only if you want this too."

My breath hitched. I wanted him - so badly that it hurt. Every part of me screamed for him, to feel him, to be consumed by him. I nodded, unable to form coherent words. That was all the encouragement he needed.

With a swift, almost practiced motion, he tugged my shirt over my head, discarding it carelessly to the side. His eyes roamed over my now bare chest, the intensity of his gaze making my skin tingle. He leaned down, his lips brushing over the curve of my shoulder, then lower, leaving a trail of kisses down to my collarbone. His hands moved to the waistband of my pants, and in one smooth motion, they were gone too.

I felt exposed, vulnerable, but the way he looked at me - like I was something to be cherished, to be worshipped - made me feel powerful. I was entirely his in this moment, and I loved it.

He moved over me, his body pressing me into the softness of the couch, and I could feel his erection straining against his pants. The heat between us was almost unbearable now, and I couldn't stop the small whimper that escaped me as his hands slid down my body, his fingers tracing a path of fire over my hips.

"God, Scarlett," he breathed, his voice filled with a mix of restraint and raw hunger. "You're so beautiful."

Before I could respond, his hand slipped between my legs, his fingers gently brushing over my most sensitive spot. I gasped, my body arching toward him, instinctively seeking more. He smirked, clearly pleased with my reaction, and applied more pressure, his fingers working slowly at first, teasing me.

The sensation was overwhelming, waves of pleasure washing over me as his fingers moved in slow, deliberate circles. I could feel the heat pooling in my core, my breath coming in short, shallow bursts as he expertly worked me closer and closer to the edge. He leaned down, capturing my lips in another searing kiss, his tongue exploring my mouth in time with the movements of his fingers.

When he finally slid one finger inside me, I couldn't hold back the moan that escaped my lips. The feeling was intense, his finger curling inside me, hitting just the right spot. He added another finger, moving them in and out, slow at first, then faster as my body responded, my hips moving in rhythm with him.

"You're so wet for me," he growled, his voice low and dangerous, sending a thrill through me.

I bit my lip, trying to stifle another moan, but it was useless. The pleasure was too much, building and building until I felt like I was going to explode. I was close, so close, and he knew it. His thumb pressed against my clit, rubbing in slow, firm circles as his fingers pumped in and out of me, pushing me closer to the edge.

And then I was there, the world crashing down around me as I came, my body trembling with the force of my orgasm. I cried out his name, my nails digging into his shoulders as wave after wave of pleasure washed over me.

He didn't stop. Not yet. His fingers kept moving, drawing out every last bit of pleasure until I was nothing more than a panting, trembling mess beneath him. When he finally pulled his hand away, I was left breathless, my body still humming with the aftershocks.

But he wasn't done. Not by a long shot.

I watched, still dazed, as he stood up, quickly shedding his clothes. My eyes widened as I took in the sight of him- his strong, muscular body, his erection standing proud and ready. The sight of him sent another rush of heat through me, and I could feel the desire building again, faster this time.

He climbed back over me, positioning himself between my legs. His eyes met mine, dark and filled with an intensity that made my breath catch in my throat. He leaned down, his lips brushing against mine.

"I'm going to make you mine, Scarlett," he whispered, his voice thick with lust. "Completely."

And then, with one smooth thrust, he was inside me.

I gasped at the sensation, the fullness of him, the way he stretched me, filled me completely. He moved slowly at first, giving me time to adjust, but it wasn't long before the need between us took over. His movements became faster, more urgent, his hips snapping against mine as he drove into me, over and over again.

The pleasure was overwhelming, all-consuming. Every thrust sent a new wave of ecstasy through me, and I couldn't stop the moans that spilled from my lips. His name was a constant mantra on my tongue, the only word I could manage to say as he pushed me higher and higher.

I could feel myself spiraling toward another orgasm, the tension building inside me until it was unbearable. And then, with one final, deep thrust, I came undone, my body shaking as another wave of pleasure crashed over me.

Alexander wasn't far behind. With a low groan, he came, his body tensing above mine as he spilled into me. We stayed like that for a moment, tangled together, our bodies still buzzing with the aftershocks of our release.

Finally, he collapsed beside me, pulling me into his arms. We lay there, our breathing still heavy, our bodies still entwined.

"I told you," he whispered, pressing a soft kiss to my forehead. "I'm not letting you go."

The silence between us was comforting, our bodies still entangled as we lay on the couch, breathing in sync. The moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room, adding a touch of serenity to the aftermath of our heated moment. I rested my head on Alexander's chest, feeling his heart beating beneath my cheek, steady and sure. It was a quiet reminder of his presence, grounding me in this surreal moment.

But even in this calm, I could feel the weight of unsaid words, lingering between us like a soft hum in the night air. His hand, which had been tracing slow circles on my back, stilled for a moment. I lifted my head slightly to meet his gaze, his dark eyes searching mine with an intensity that made my heart stutter.

"Scarlett," he began again, his voice breaking the silence, but this time, there was an intensity that made me freeze. His hand gently cupped my face, tilting my chin so I had no choice but to meet his gaze. "I need you to listen because I've never said these words to anyone before."

His thumb brushed over my cheek, his touch soft but his eyes burning with something deep and raw. His breaths were uneven, and the vulnerability in his expression was like nothing I had ever seen from him.

"I've spent my whole life pushing people away, believing that I didn't need anyone," he continued, his voice trembling ever so slightly. "I convinced myself that love was a weakness. That it would make me vulnerable. But... I was wrong."

My heart pounded in my chest as his words sank in, each one heavier than the last.

"Because when it comes to you... I can't fight it anymore, Scarlett. I don't want to. I love you," he said, the confession falling from his lips with an undeniable finality. His grip on me tightened as though he feared I might slip away. "Not just today, or tomorrow. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want you beside me. Always."

I gasped softly, my throat tightening with emotion. The air between us was thick with the weight of his confession, and I could see the sincerity in his eyes. This wasn't a fleeting moment. This was real.

"I've spent my whole life avoiding this," he confessed, his voice soft but laced with an emotion that sent chills down my spine. "Avoiding feeling... this. You. But you - you broke through every wall I built. You shattered every defense I had, and I fought it. God, I fought it, Scarlett. But I can't fight it anymore."

My heart pounded in my chest, his words filling the air between us like a storm on the horizon, building in intensity.

"I love you, Scarlett," he whispered, his voice breaking as though admitting it was both his greatest fear and his deepest truth. "I've never felt this way about anyone, and it terrifies me because I know... I know I will never be able to let you go."

He reached for my hand, his grip firm, almost desperate, as though I was his anchor. "You don't understand what you mean to me. I want you, not just now, not just for a moment. I want you for forever. I want to wake up every morning with you by my side. I want you to be the first thing I see, the last thing I touch. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Scarlett. All of it."

His words wrapped around me like a promise, pulling me into a future I hadn't dared to imagine. The intensity in his eyes made my heart skip a beat as his voice dropped to a soft whisper, almost reverent. "Marry me, Scarlett. Be mine forever. Let me be the man who holds your heart for the rest of our lives."

I gasped softly, his words like a whirlwind. My breath caught in my throat, overwhelmed by the depth of his confession. I had seen so many sides of Alexander - the ruthless CEO, the possessive lover, the man who could crush anyone in his path. But this - this was the real Alexander. The man who was opening his heart to me, laying his soul bare.

His eyes darkened, a flicker of possessiveness flashing across his features, but then it softened, replaced by something so pure it made my chest ache. He pulled me close, his forehead resting against mine, his voice hushed as if speaking these words was his vow. "I'll spend every day proving that you're the best thing that ever happened to me. I'll protect you, love you, and give you everything. You are mine, Scarlett. And I am yours. Forever."

"You... you want to marry me?" I whispered, my voice barely audible, afraid to even hope.

His expression softened, a small, almost vulnerable smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Yes. I can't imagine my life without you anymore, Scarlett. I want to wake up every morning knowing you're mine. To see you smile, to hear your voice. I want to build a life with you. A future. Not just as my lover, but as my wife."

Tears welled up in my eyes, threatening to spill over as his words washed over me. It was everything I hadn't dared to dream of, and yet... here he was, offering me his heart, his life.

"I never thought I could love anyone the way I love you," he continued, his voice hoarse with emotion. "But you've changed everything. You've made me want things I never thought I deserved. You've made me believe in us, Scarlett. And I will spend every day proving to you that I mean every word."

My heart swelled, my breath catching as I tried to hold back the tears that now freely flowed. I reached for his face, my fingers trembling as I caressed his cheek. "I love you, Alexander. I always have," I whispered. "And I want that too. I want everything with you. Forever."

He smiled, the most genuine smile I had ever seen from him, and in that moment, I knew - this was it. This was our forever.

Without another word, he pulled me into his arms, his lips crashing against mine in a kiss that was filled with all the love, all the passion we had kept locked away for so long. It was the beginning of something beautiful, something that neither of us would ever let go of.

And as we held each other, the world around us seemed to disappear, leaving only us - bound by love, bound by desire, and bound by a future that was finally ours to claim.

I reached out, cupping his face in my hands, my thumbs brushing over the sharp line of his jaw. "I don't know how this happened either, but... I don't want it to stop. I don't want us to stop," I whispered, my voice thick with emotion.

When we pulled back, his forehead rested against mine, his breath warm against my lips. "I'm never letting you go, Scarlett," he whispered, his voice filled with promise.

I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me, but before I could respond, he smirked, his usual playful arrogance returning. "Now, how about another round?" he asked, his hand slipping down my side in a teasing manner.

I laughed, playfully swatting his hand away. "Oh my god, Alexander," I groaned, shaking my head. "You really don't know when to stop, do you?"

He chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "I just can't get enough of you," he teased, leaning in to press a soft kiss to my neck, making me shiver. But then, his tone shifted, becoming more serious as he pulled back slightly, his eyes meeting mine again.

"You can tell me, Scarlett," he said softly, his hand gently brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "About Kai. About what happened."

I stiffened at the mention of Kai's name, the memories flooding back in a rush - the manipulation, the control, the hurt. For a moment, I wanted to push it away, bury it like I had so many times before. But with Alexander here, holding me, looking at me with such genuine concern... I couldn't hide from it anymore.

Taking a deep breath, I leaned back into him, drawing comfort from the warmth of his body as I began to speak.

"It was... complicated," I said quietly, my voice wavering. "Kai wasn't always bad. At first, he was charming, made me feel like I was special, like I was the only one that mattered. But that changed."

Alexander's hand tightened around mine, his jaw clenching as he listened.

"He became controlling. Possessive," I continued, my voice growing shaky as the memories resurfaced. "It started small - asking where I was, who I was with. But then... it got worse. He'd get angry if I didn't answer his calls right away, or if I wanted to spend time with my friends. He'd say things, make me feel guilty for needing space. And when I tried to leave, he'd find ways to pull me back in. He always knew exactly how to make me feel like I couldn't live without him."

I paused, my throat tightening as I fought back the tears threatening to spill over.

"He never hit me," I whispered, "but the emotional scars... they were just as bad. I felt trapped, like I couldn't breathe. Like I didn't matter. And by the time I finally left... I wasn't sure who I was anymore."

Alexander's grip on me tightened, his body tensing as if he was physically restraining himself from reacting. "That bastard," he growled under his breath. "I swear, if I ever see him..."

But before he could finish the thought, I shook my head, placing a hand on his chest. "It's over now," I said softly. "I'm not with him anymore. I'm with you."

He looked at me, his expression softening, though the fire in his eyes remained. "You're mine, Scarlett," he said, his voice low and possessive. "And I'll never let anyone hurt you again. Not him. Not anyone."

I smiled weakly, grateful for his words, but also feeling a weight lift off my chest for having finally spoken the truth. For the first time in a long time, I felt free.

Alexander leaned down, his lips brushing against my forehead in a soft, comforting kiss. "We'll get through this," he whispered. "Together."

I nodded, feeling a sense of peace settle over me. The past was behind me, and with Alexander by my side, I knew the future held something far brighter.

But before I could dwell too long in the moment, Alexander's mischievous grin returned. "So... about that second round?" he teased, his hand trailing suggestively down my side.

I rolled my eyes, laughing as I playfully shoved him back onto the couch. "You're impossible," I said, shaking my head, but unable to hide the smile that tugged at my lips.

"And you love it," he smirked, pulling me back into his arms, and for the first time in a long time, I laughed - truly laughed - feeling lighter than I had in years.
