I was in my room for days not know what day it was. Oops missed another call(sarcasm) That was when I heard a knock on the front door. I sighed like the lazy person I am and got up. There she was. Marty (Marites). "What are you doing here?!" I hugged her. "Came to see you, why are you such a mess?! What happened?!" She asked. "What do you mean?" She looked at me like I was hiding something, and I was. I was hurt and didn't want anyone to know. "Were you in your room for a week again?" I just nodded. She pulled me into a hug knowing why. She knows I have times where I feel the guilt. She knows I have the times when I can't leave the room when I can't even blink without the image popping into my head. But this was different. It wasn't over my father. Or what he did. It was the fact that my own family shut me out of their lives and Marty and a few of my true friends stayed by my side. And with that I was great full. I felt as if I didn't need family by blood. But family but choice. I got to chose my family and they got to chose me. We picked each other and we are one big happy family that love can't be separated. It's the love you feel that you can't control when it happens or why, yet you're happy it happened.
