Paiden POV
I really don't feel like going to school today. I'm so drained from all the work we did yesterday. I got up and took a shower. Once I got out the shower, I put on (media)
and curled my hair. I didn't really feel like putting on makeup today, so I just put on some lipstick and mascara. When I was done with that I grabbed my phone and keys and made my way downstairs. I told my mom and sister bye and waved to Trevor since he still wasn't talking to anyone. I'll find out what's wrong after school. I got in my car and drove to school. I just hope today is like yesterday...PEACEFUL and NO DRAMA.
Mackie POV
I'm really not ready to face Myles today but it's a whatever kind of situation. On top of that I realized I left the project over his house, so best believe I'm going back to get it. He won't be taking credit for something I thought about doing!
When I pulled into the school parking lot, I noticed Paiden getting out of her car. So I got out of mine and ran over to her.
"Hey Paiden!"
"Hey Mack!" She said giving me a hug
"So what's been going on since yesterday" I asked
"Well nothing to much, but Kalin did express how he had feelings for me and I have to admit o have feelings for him too."
I erupted into cheers because I totally ship Kalin and Paiden!
"Calm down! Calm down! We're not dating if that's what you're thinking."
I started to decline my cheers
"We both agreed that we'll both start off as friends and see where we go from there." She said plainly
"Well enough about me. Tell me what happened to you yesterday!" She said excitedly
Although it's really nothing to be excited about.
"Well Ms.Kabers partnered me with that Myles kid and at first I was feeling him UNTIL he got an attitude with me at his house."
"What was he getting an attitude about?"
I explained the whole thing from beginning to end to her.
"Dang Mack." was all she could say
Her eyes got buck
"What is it Paiden"
"Um I just remembered I had to do something for Kalin! See ya in class!" she said running away
Then I turned around only to be face to face with the devil himself....MYLES
"What do you want Myles?"
"I was coming to say that I apologize for my actions yesterday because it was uncalled for."
"Why did you have an attitude in the first place?"
"You know what Mackie, I tried to come here and be a nice person and apologize but you want to keep the drama coming so forget I even came to you!" He then began to walk away
Jesus give me strength for whatever's coming my way today, I said to myself.
Kalin POV
"Hey Paiden" I said sitting in my seat next to hers
"Hey babyk, what's going on"
Wow she gave me a nickname and me likey 😏
"Nothing much. So about the whole dating thing, do you think you could at least give me a chance and let me take you out on a date?"
"I don't know Kalin. I mean I just officially met you yesterday and you're already asking me out on a date? Don't you think we're moving a bit fast?"
"Maybe a little but I just want to show you that I'm boyfriend material"
"Who said anything about you being my boyfriend?"
"Trust me baby girl, I know you want ME and only ME to be your boyfriend."
"How would you know that Kalin?"
"Because I just know. Will you please let me take you out tonight?"
"Ugh fine but you better not screw up Kalin and I'm not being funny!"
"Ok ok! Drama queen! I'll text you what time I'm going to get you"
"Class is now in session so if you don't mind, no talking while I am please!" Said Ms.Kaber
AFTER SCHOOL
Paiden's POV
After school was over, I drove home and stopped by in-n-out on my way there. When I got home I noticed everyone was gone. I slowly made my way upstairs to pick out my outfit for my date with Kalin later on. It's now currently 4:45 and I just got a text from Kalin.
