He's still laughing as if I told a joke. I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear before putting my head in my hands. "Aye you good?" Ray laughed. I closed my eyes slowly starting to mumble under my breath, hoping I wouldn't have to put my hands on somebody's fucking child. I opened my mouth to talk before the bell rung. Thank God because woo, only the Lord knows what I was going to say. I stood up grabbing my notebook and pencil walking out brushing past Ray quickly.
Finally made it to my locker, opening it I stuffed my book and grabbed my lunch bag. I closed it leaning back on it waiting for Keypi and Niq. I held my bag in one hand running my free hand through my hair. Keypi approached me shaking her head. I looked at her and raised my eyebrow. "Where Niq and what's wrong?" I asked leaning off my locker. "Niq is coming, she talking to a teacher. Nothing girl, this gotta be home tea because it's too many ears." she rolled her eyes clutching onto her bag tightly.
Once Niq finally arrived we took small steps towards the lunch room walking in. I stood looking around making sure our table was still available. Walking over, I sat at the end of the table while Niq sat across and Keypi sat next to me. I unwrapped my bag slowly letting out a deep sigh as Chres, Ray and some other nigga approached our table. "Shit here comes your nigga," I scoffed before laughing at my own joke. "Bitch you know damn w-" Niq sentence was cut off by Ray's laughter and him sitting next to her. Chres slid a chair up to the end next to me looking at me up and down. "Now what the fuck do y'all want?" I made eye contact with Ray raising my eyebrow. "Don't act brand new lu' girl" he laughed again before turning his attention towards Niq. "Didn't we make plans for this afternoon right?" Chres smirked moving his chair closer to me. "Yeah the plans that you begged to happen." The table burst into laughter as he sat there with a scowl on his face. "What's really tea huh?" Keypi laughed louder now drawing attention over to us. We focused on her as she repeatedly starts banging her hand on the table. Her eyes started to water at the brims as she kept laughing. "Let's go Niq, we don't know her." I shook my head giggle before standing up. "Yeah we don't," she followed behind me as we made our way to the bathrooms.
I sighed taking out my lipstick from my bag starting to apply it on. Niq stood watching me as she starts playing with her fingers. "You know what Bee? I think I might take Rayan back, he been trying so hard." She smiled as her gaze went up at the mirror. I slammed my lipstick bottle down as my head swung to her direction."Pause, fucking pause Zonnique. Snap out of that bullshit that nigga feeding you for real. He got your dumbass wrapped around his finger." I rolled my eyes shaking my head. Shit. Shit. Shit. He really trying to make that shit work huh? Well it's not. He need to get his shit together.
