we went to the doctors to see the first picture of the baby it was breathtaking seeing it, it brought tears to my eyes my baby was living inside me and it hadn't seemed real before but now it did. i couldn't really enjoy it because i kept thinking of Niall and how he was missing out i felt so bad.
'Oh my god that's my child,' Harry gasped tears welling up in his eyes
he was breath-taken by the image and was mind-blown.
i looked up at him regretfully but he just smiled at me and i smiled back.
'i cant wait to meet our baby,' I said to Harry
Harry smiled when we got back dinner was prepared and we ate straight away, Niall looked and i gave him a sympathetic look. After dinner Harry went to watch tv i stayed back to talk to Niall and Zayn while they washed up.
'How was the picture? what did it look like? was the baby small?' Niall asked these were just a few of the many questions he asked which was understandable
'Why are you so intriged Niall?' Zayn asked confused he ofcourse had no idea it was NIall's kid.
'ERR..I just like babies,' NIall said
Zayn gave him an odd look. i answered all of Niall's questions and tried to give him the best picture of the baby that i could but ofcourse my description wouldn't match the real thing but it still moved Niall.
'You must really like babies Niall,' zayn said
'Ava!' Harry called from the other room
'Yes?' i shouted back
'Where the hell is my 1000 pounds? i need it i am buying a waistcoat of the internet it is not in the safe,' he asked
My eyes popped out and i started to shake and Zayn and NIall looked terrified, he would find out that the money had been given to the poor.
'Relax maybe he wouldn't even think of that,' Zayn said to me but i was terrified
'Ava!' harry shouted again 'come here,' those two words petrified me had he found out??
i had 2 major secrets from Harry.
'Relax don't worry tell him a lie,' Zayn said trying to calm me down
'what type of waistcoat is 1000 pounds?' Niall asked
this made me laugh which relaxed me a bit i then went to meet Harry in the next room who was on the laptop.
'Yes harry?'
'Do you know where the money has gone?'
'No sorry,'
'Are you sure?'
'yes why i haven't bought anything i just wear the clothes you buy me i--i dont use any of your money i promise,' i said while sweating and i said it way too quickly by the tone of my voice he would suspect something is up
'Relax Ava i am not accusing you i am just wondering where the money went did we spend it on baby stuff?' Harry asked
'Yes! yes remeber the baby furniture yes that's where the money went,' I said
this was a lie ofcourse the furniture wasn't that expensive and we used another lot of money.
Harry furrowed his eyebrows and looked up at me 'Ah yes ofcourse,'
i sighed in relief. That night when Zayn and Niall had left me and Harry were getting ready for bed, ,my bump was starting to get uncomfortable. Harry offered me a massage but i declined. i hated the evening i just didn't like when Zayn and Niall left the house just seemed too empty and i missed their company.
'Ava i think there is a theif in our house,' Harry said to me quite seriously
'Wh-aaat-?' i said nervously
'I couldn't find another pack of a thousand pounds, i don't want to accuse Niall or Zayn because i know they are poor but they wouldn't steal and they are doing such a good job i suspect there's another thief coming in when we dont know,'
'Oh,' i was relieved that he didn't even suspect Niall or Zayn or even me.
'But i thought how is that possible? you are in the house 24/7 and if your not here it's zayn or niall and i trust them but i just want you to keep an extra eye on these boys i am not suspecting them or anything just keep an eye yeah?' he said
'yes,' i replied
my pregnancy flew by the next few months i was craving strawberries and the oddest things made me emotional, i liked spending the days with Niall and Zayn, Harry had kind of dropped the idea of a thief which was a relief.
on the 8th month of my pregnancy Harry organised a baby shower with all of my girl 'friends' invited. i didn't really like any of them to be honest they are just the snotty wives of Harry's friends who are so annoying. but they brought presents. Zayn and Niall were invited only to serve and work but atleast they were there for moral support because these women were really pissing me off.
'SOOO ALMOST DUE THEN?'
'yep,' i replied
'are you excited?'
'yep,' i replied
i saw Niall laughing in the backround at my boring responses while he gave out finger foods. this made me giggle a bit but this woman thought i was laughing at her joke and got a bit excited bless her heart.
i opened the presents and wow i got alot of things but most of the things where either white or yellow.
'It was hard getting your presents because we dont know the gender so we have to get multi-gender,'
i started to panick as i opened the presents i rememebered going to eleanor's shower and she knew what to do with all the presents and here she sat with her baby Ashley and was such a good mother but when i opened the presents i had no idea what to do with most of the things my knowledge of looking after a baby was embarrasing i knew nothing. i said some stupid remarks about some of the baby things and i was clearly embarrasing Harry. The women were laughing at me silently, i was so dumb i knew nothing i cringed and thought of how bad a mother i would be.
'I thought even in the dump you were raised in they would know how to look after a baby,' a woman who i hated stated and everyone laugh. i was embarrased and angry and wished i would just dissapear. i hadn't thought of all the things it took to become a mother.
'Just try and not kill the baby when it's born this time,' Someone joked
a joke about my miscarriage that was uncalled for and not infront of everyone i didn't want to look at Harry but i was upset and i didn't want to cry and give these people the satisfaction.
'That was a bit rude she feels bad about the miscarriage she doesn't need reminding every 10 seconds,' Niall said
everyone looked at him shocked, he wasn't supposed to talk to them i was worried. Niall was nice for defending me but it wasn't worth him getting fired!
'Thankyou Niall but its ok dont worry,' i said
'No it's horrible of these people to say and to laugh about !' Niall retorted back
'servant! go and make some more tea not another word from you now,' Harry said rudely he was clearly embarrased
NIall looked upset and embarrased but he had done the right thing in defending me. it was nice of him. i awkwardly sat there and looked at my feet aand thought about how they were probably right i would be a horrible mother.
Zayn gave me a sympathetic look and mimed to me 'Dont listen to these snobs,'
i smiled back at him.
everybody was busily chatting during lunch noone was chatting with me which i was quite relieved and happy about. i felt hollow and sad after their comments i didn't feel in the need to talk to them. atleast Niall and Zayn were on my side i was upset but not suprised that my husband Harry hadn't defended me.
i got up and didn't have lunch i wasn't feeling hungry i went to the kitchen where NIall and Zayn were laboring on.
'Dont listen to those bitches,' Niall said
i gave him a half smile.
'But they are right-i knowww nothing,' i said tears falling down my eyes
Niall instantly put his arm around my shoulder and i buried my head into his chest and let the tears fall.
Niall was the best comfortor he just said soothing things softly into my ears and they really did help.
'Niall i am just going to serve the deserts,' Zayn said
Niall nodded and didn't move because i was still crying into his shoulder.
we were interrupted by a husky voice going 'ehemm!'
my head shot up and Niall looked up and we saw Harry standing there. my heart sank and i began to shake.
'Ava dont be so rude you have guests,' Harry said
'They were rude to her,'' Niall said back which was an idiotic thing to say
'Niall if i were you i would shut up now,' Harry sternly said
'Ava go entertain your guests,'
i got up and rushed out.
'And as for you Niall come with me outside,' Harry said
Niall gulped and followed Harry outside.
'I don't know what you are trying with my wife but don't honestly,' Harry said
'I wasn't trying anything i was just-she was just crying and,' Niall said
'well anyway what i want you to know is that she has stopped loving you. she loves me now, she just feels sorry for you she doesn't love you at all just get over yourself,'
these words stung niall he believed every word of it
'She just feels sorry for you,'
'she just feels sorry for you,'
replayed in his mind.
'She feels bad for you because you have to work for her but she doesn't love you who would love you?' Harry said
and niall thought 'he's right who would love me?'
'i can offer her more you cant offer her anything,' Harry said
NIall believed everythign and he realised that every word was true and tears formed in his eyes. the person who le loved more than life itself didn't love him.
'Are you crying?' Harry scoffed
'No,' NIall lied looking down
Harry rolled his eyes.
'Just do your work if i see you naywhere near my wife again you are back on the street, just remember she doesn't care about you she has her own life now,'
as much as NIall tried to not believe these words they kept replaying in his head and he soon realised it was true. he felt useless and broken and just stupid for thinking his life was a fairytale.
'These dreams of me and ava being together are the only things i held onto now i have nothing i was so stupid thinking we could ever be together she has moved on and so should i ,' Nial thought
Harry was pleased with himself for breaking NIall now he knew that Nial lwould never try anything with me. he smiled as he walked from a dematerialised Niall and carried on to the party.
