"We're their last hope." Taehyung said before returning his focus back to the T.V. I looked at the rest of the members, who looks of tiredness and sadness among their faces. I didn't know what to feel or think, first of all what does he mean? Second of all he spoke to me, he actually spoke to me.
"What do you mean we're their last hope?" Jin motioned for me to sit on the floor with the others. I walked over and sat in front of the T.V. facing all of them. I noticed Taehyung's gaze shift from the T.V to the outside porch. I focused on Yoongi, as he shifted upright, clearing his throat, and meeting his eyes with mine.
"Our company, hasn't had any groups to make it far or bring home any awards in a long time. I'm surprised the company is still able to still stand today." I didn't even know there was a company called Big Hit until Ruby and Lindsey told me. "After the last CEO was replaced, the new one began a plan. He is the one who recruited all 7 of us, but he still needed female artists in order to gain a wider audience. So, when you auditioned and sang your song, he said that he knew you would be able to help save this company from completely falling apart. And the reason why we are all living under the same roof is because there is simply not enough money for another place. So to sum it all up, we are all basically carrying this company's future on our shoulders."
It took a while for everything to fully register in my mind. Last hope? Me? The company's future on my shoulders? My head started spinning again. Boy, has it been spinning a lot for one day. So if I fail to please the audience the Company's death will be my fault? How can this happen? How can I...do...this- My whole body went numb. All I saw were the boys' expressions change as they rushed towards me. Everything went dark.
