"McClain over here!"
"Hey McCain! Who's the babe this time?!"
"Come on! Show us a kiss!" This is how my life is. The flashing lights of the camera's going off. The annoying paparazzi asking the same questions over and over. Can't complain though, I mean who can?
I escorted my date for the night into my car, I already forgot her name. She seemed to be enjoying the attention, just like all of the others before her.
"Carter, why in such a rush?" She posed a few more times before entering the car.
"Sorry, babe, but I have plans tomorrow morning. Gonna need to cut this one short."
"Oh boo." She gave me a pouty face, I think she intended it to be cute. But with her scarlet red lips it looked wrong. I stopped outside her house and walked her out. "Come on baby, who said the night has to end so fast?" She pulled on my tie, and pulled me inside her house.
"I guess a few hours couldn't hurt." I followed her inside and into her bedroom. She had her dress off before I could blink. She is just another eager slut who just wants her fifteen minutes of fame. Might as well give her what she wants.

"Okay, Christan." I got out of bed and looked for my pants.
"Christina."
"Right." I slipped on my pants and looked for my shirt. I found it under her pillow, and awkwardly pulled it out. "So, I have to go. I'll call you." I quickly found my keys and got out. I opened my car door and drove back home.
The whole drive there all I could think about is tomorrow. My old man said he wanted to have a talk, and that he was introducing me to a friend of his. Apparently his friend runs a rival company, and they want to talk about merging the two. I still don't know what the hell all of this has to do with me. I never cared about the old man's business to begin with it.
"Good evening Mr. McClain, welcome home."
"Hey Burns." He opened the gates and I pulled into my house's long driveway. I got out and handed my keys to our valet and headed inside. I went to my room and grabbed a hot shower. This is my routine every time I sleep with those women.
I go to an event with them, I take them home. We have a one night stand, then I return home and try to scrub the memories away. Now don't get me wrong, I love me some fine piece of ass. But they just don't do it for me anymore. Not like the first time, not like her.
I quickly got out and dried myself off. With a towel wrapped around my lower waste I walked into my closet. I quickly put on some sweats and a tee shirt, and headed to bed. Tomorrow I figure out what the old man wants.

"Carter, good morning."
"Morning father." He was sitting in the dinning room, with papers spread all over the table. I grabbed a piece of toast off the table and sat down. "So, what exactly did you want to talk about?"
"Right." He put his paper down and finally looked at me. He looked at me and lifted one of his eyebrows. "Really? You can't even bother to get dressed?" I looked down and saw I was still in my sweats and tee shirt.
"Relax, I'll do it." I took a bite from my toast, but felt his eyes on me. "Really?! I'm gonna change, why are you tripping?!"
"Carter watch your tone! Now Alastor will be here soon, and I need you dressed and presentable. Now go." I threw my half eaten toast on the table and walked out. He always has to trip about everything. For the love of god I'm twenty-four years old!
I quickly changed and walked back into the dinning room. He glanced at me when I came back inside and simply nodded. I swear, since mom died he's been more of a pain.
"Good, now finish your breakfast. I don't need your stomach growling during this meeting." Why that son of.
"What's this meeting about anyway?" He doesn't answer and just continues to look over some papers. I'm about to yell at him, when one of the servants enters the dinning room.
"Sir, they have arrived." They?
"Ah, thank you Melanie. You may go now." She nods her head and exits the dinning room. "Come Carter, we must not keep them waiting."
"Who's them?" I follow him out the dinning room, and into one of the living rooms. I see a tall brown haired man standing next to the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She was tall with a slender body, but curves you just want to sink your teeth into. What caught me the most were her charcoal gray eyes.
"Alastor!" The brow haired man walked up and shook my father's hand.
"Charles! Thank you for meeting me. Please, allow me to introduce to you my wife Valkyrie."
"Please, just call me Val." She had such a sweet and gentle voice. Lucky bastard got himself one fine woman.
"Miss Val, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. I can see why Alastor was so keen on keeping you to himself. You're a lucky man you old dog." I haven't seen this side of my father in a while. I will admit, it was nice. "Oh yes, please allow me to introduce to you my son. Alastor, Val, this is my son Carter." I shook hands with him and his wife.
"Carter, I have heard so much about you. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."
"Thank you sir. If I may, what exactly is this about?" I have been standing here for like five minutes, and I still have no idea what the hell all this is about!
"Alastor, you haven't told him?" We all turned to my father. He motioned for us to take a seat on the white couches. Me and my father sat in front of Charles and his wife.
"Son, the main reason we are here is to talk business." I didn't say anything, but why the hell include me? I never showed any interest in his business before.
"Yes. You see, our companies have considered merging and becoming one huge family company."
"Okay, but I still don't see what that has to do with me." They all looked at me before focusing on a file on the table. I just noticed it was there.
"In order to become one giant family business, we need to be a family." My father kept his eyes on the folder. Something in my gut was telling me I was not going to like this. "Carter."
"No way!" Realization just hit me. The only way for us to become a family, is if I get married to their daughter. "I am not gonna marry some girl I don't know, just so you can have this huge business. No way!"
"Don't be silly." This time all eyes were on Val. She smiled sweetly at me, but there was something in those eyes of hers. "We don't have a daughter."
"Oh. Then what am I here for?" She looked at her husband, and then at my father. "This is an arranged marriage, we just don't have a daughter."
"Then how is this going to work?" That feeling in my stomach was getting bigger by the second.
"Carter. You are to marry Ethan, our son." And with that, I think I'm gonna lose my breakfast.
