"Damn, toni your pullout game ain't shit."Richie said laughing, they were still on a conference call with everyone. Of course, lira included Toni's friends, they were practically family.
Toni has been silent this entire conference call, he didn't want to say anything for right now.
"Nigga, shut up."Christian said pushing him, these two had become inseparable which meant they were always at one another's place. Right now, they were chilling and eating pizza.
"Baby A's name will be Jett Spencer & Baby B's name will be Carson Maxwell, I swear I can't wait till they get here."Lira said sharing the babies name with everyone, it was overwhelming but exciting.
"Those names are pretty stu- I mean unique,"Trey said catching himself, he paused before continuing, "Bet your babies will be hella special."
"I know you didn't insult and compliment my children at the same time."
"I know where you live trey, don't try it I'll beat your ass."Lira spoke sternly, she wasn't playing about hers.
"Those unisex names are the bomb, my niece and nephew gone be popping. I swear!"Ana said giggling, she couldn't wait for their arrival also.
Ana wasn't in on the conference call when lira announced the sex of her babies, so she was just assuming.
"Them babies won't have no love in school, you setting your kids up for a trap."Richie said shaking his head like she could see him, but she couldn't.
"Whatever, don't mind him. Toni, are you there?"Tori asked waiting for a response.
"Yeah."
"Why aren't you asking any questions or sharing any concerns about your babies?"Tori asked.
"I gotta go, I'll talk to you all later."Ms. Galore said hanging up, she was pretty busy today.
"I tried asking lira shit and she never give me a time or a day, don't even know if they're fully mines. Not saying I have doubt, just don't know."Toni said sighing, him and micky were at the park while he was in on this conference call.
"Oh why, yes. Mr. Mahfud, I completely forgot to mention this, test results came back and they are 99.9% yours. No need to have doubt anymore, we ran this test multiple times since people tried to tamper with the DNA samples from you and Mr. Ross."Doctor Parker said confirming the babies were Toni's, hoped this cleared up any confusion.
"Well, thank you doctor parker. Happy to know."Toni said dryly, fucking with lira and friends really weren't a go for him anymore. Messing with Alexis who made him happy & spending quality time with his son, those are the things that made him happy nowadays.
"Nigga ain't into her no more."Richie whispered to Christian, he was referring to lira and completely forgot they were still on a conference call.
"Yeah, clearly."
Christian realized they were still in on the phone call, she panicked low key.
"Oh shit!"She said before hanging up, her and richie were a mess.
"Well, Ima go. No reason to stay on this phone call, not even gone lie."Ana said before hanging up, it was time to get a life for herself.
"Bye."Tori said hanging up, toni hung up without saying anything he could careless.
He's worried about his children that's it, no more begging and trying to do right about lira when she's clearly not interested. He wasn't going to make himself look like a fool anymore longer, trust it's time to be serious about relationships.
Trey's with tori so, when she hung him he was gone too.
"Okay, here's a list of foods you should keep out of your fridge for a healthy pregnancy."Doctor Parker said informing them, she spoke more about this high risk pregnancy before leaving out.
Lira dropped storm off at her condo, it was time for her to meet with Eric.
She & Eric met on the set on "Young & Ready", they both were auditioning for this new modern scandalous sitcom that's coming out within a year or two. The characters they audition for were a couple, who had to face financial problems, issues within a family, and much more.
Arriving at Starbucks, she quickly got out and headed on inside. Getting in line, she would order first before finding Eric.
"Good afternoon, welcome to Starbucks what would you like to order?"
"A regular caramel frappuccino with extra caramel and a slice of banana bread and coffee cake."Lira hands her the money before telling her where she would sit, the food wasn't too much so she let her keep the change.
"Hi, Eric."Lira said approaching him and he stood giving her a hug before pulling her chair away from the table, once she sat he scoot it back up before taking his seat.
"Hi, I almost thought you weren't going to come."Eric said smiling, she laughed before waving him off.
"Nope, I don't stand people up but my doctor's appointment was going a little overtime."
"Oh okay, your baby is fine right?"
"Yeah, they are."
"They are?"He asked confused, he clearly didn't know she was having twins. Hell, she didn't even know before today.
"Yeah, I'm having twins. I'm hella shocked."Lira said looking at his reaction, he was pretty calm and it didn't seem to bother him.
"Here's your frappuccino, banana bread, and coffee cake."The lady sat her food down in front of her before going back to the register, lira began to eat her banana bread.
"I bet they'll be beautiful just like their mom."He complimented making lira blush.
"Yeah, I have so much to get done. Build a house within a couple of months, get a nursery done, have a baby shower, go to court, and we have to finish our plot before June or elsewhere."Lira said thinking about everything, it was overwhelming and stressful because she's only one person and didn't have extra help for real.
"You will be alright, god wouldn't have challenged you if he didn't think you could handle it."Eric said holding her hand and giving her a reassuring smile.
"I'll be here with you along the way, I'll be your moral support and don't think I'm just hanging with'cha cause I want sex or a relationship. I ain't like that, we're gonna be best friends. Ima be there when you need me, even when your babies need me if they ever do."Eric said clearing up any confusion, he really see lira as a nice girl whose just temporarily lost right now.
He was going to help her no matter what, whether this lead to something or not.
