"Hello, I'm Brian. Just call me Coach." The plump Canadian smiled and shook my hand, gesturing me to sit in the chair.
"Hello, I... Hanyu Yuzuru." I stuttered, blushing a little.
I met the other boys, Nam and Javier, and although we had some trouble communicating, we got on rather well. Within minutes, we were laughing and joking, Nam pulling funny faces.
Coach started our training with warm ups, and went through my jumps to take note of what to correct.
"Okay boys take five," Coach clapped, and we all tumbled off the ice, dying for a rest.
"Coach's really merciless today, I thought we would get a break seeing as we have a new Cricket," Nam panted, Javi nodding beside him.
"Cricket?" I pointed to myself, confused.
"Amigo, you're our Cricket Bro now," Javi hooked his arm around my shoulders, smiling.
"Bro?" I cocked my head to the side.
The two did not bother to explain, and continued laughing their heads off.
At the end of the day, we packed up and walked out of the rink. As we passed by the reception, I saw the same girl clad in the same hoodie, studying while humming.
"Who... She?" I tapped Javi.
"Oh, she's our receptionist, she drives the Zamboni too. She's Ko." Javi points at her, and knocks on the table.
The girl looks up, and for the first time, I see her face.
She had Asian features and shoulder length black hair. But of all her facial features, her eyes were to most stunning.
People say that you need to have blue or green eyes to have stunning eyes, but her eyes were dark brown, like typical Asian eyes.
But her eyes sparkled, big and round and so stunning like a star.
"Hello, I am Ko," she smiles, extending her hand towards me. However, on her wrist, I spot a silver bracelet. The same one I wear.
"Nice to meet you too!"
