My name is Kaito. I am a twenty one year old male Vocaloid, or in other words, a holorobotic software for Japanese fans.
Now I may not seem like much, but, without me, some part of the softwear would most likely be diffrent, in a bad way. So, some things about me:
I am third in the sequence of Vocaloids since Rin and Len count as one and fourth in the roundup of One Hundred and Fourteen. Five full Japanese, Meiko, Kasane, Neru, Haku, and myself.
Five Japanese and English, Rin, Len, Gumi, Luka, and Miku. And lastly, full English, Oliver, Sweet Anne, Cyber Diva, Yv1, Sachkio, and Astrelloid. There has been count of the others, but we don't know them. Yet. We will meet someday in the path of life.
This story I am writing is for something I have yet to find. All I know is it is highly required of me. To whom is reading this, I am not very updated. My database has not been refreshed for millenniums for my master deceased around 1867.
This year of today is 3014. The date is September 30th and we Vocaloids are lucky to be alive. There are people who are very against us, for they believe we are going to take over the world.
But, of course, we have no interest in world domination. My time for this mission is running out, although my own time in most likely to be infinite. I believe this mission is to be to correct the wrongs done in the dimension of us Vocaloids.
I am recording this mission so that I can be sure that if my database gets reset by any chance, from older experiences that I do not lose this mission.
October 3rd 3014
"Kaito! Wake up, come see, you must come see!" Rin was screaming in my ear. "Okay, okay, I'm coming. What is the matter of this?" I said groggily after I got dressed and slowly followed Rin through the house.
"Look! Luka, Meiko, and I cooked you breakfast!" I looked at the table filled with six plates of chocolate chip pancakes and ice-cream on top. My stomach growled just loud enough for them to hear. "You look-." Meiko giggled in between her words. "And sound hungry."
The smell wafted over me. I sat down and began to eat with them. "It tastes amazing." I said. "Good. I knew they would make you happy." Rin said. "Why do you guys try so hard to impress me?" I asked. "Because today is the day that we cook what you want, remember? Yesterday was Miku's day, which means today IS your day... right?"
"Yes." I paused to think. "Hmmm, where is Miku anyway, and Len, especially Len, He's never been late before... has he?" "No. I don't believe so." Meiko answered. "I'll go see what the holdup is!" Rin said happily.
As she bounded off in happiness, I wondered aloud. "What makes her so happy every day?" Luka laughed. "Probably because Len treats her like a queen. Or maybe..." Luka paused for a second, thinking of what else Rin could be so happy over.
"Maybe it could be because... No, it's because of Len, he just spoils her beyond yo- our imaginations, I'm sure of it." I was about to say something as Rin and Len came running into the dining room, their faces somewhere in between sad and scared.
"W-what's wrong?" Meiko said, sounding as if she was preparing herself for the worst. A small tear slowly slid down Rin's cheek.
"We searched all over for her, I-I've been searching for her all night. She disappeared around midnight. W-we were in the living room with Rin and we were watching Prometheus, and Rin went to bed around eleven and she went to go get some popcorn and she never came back.
I searched and searched and I cou-." "Hold on Len who are you talking ab-."Luka said. My heart began racing with fear. "What are you saying?" I practically shouted, cutting Luka off.
Len looked devastated, as if he had just accidentally killed someone. "Miku's gone!" he shouted.
