"Come on, Laura, it should be me who should be worried about their appearance!, all the guests are here, hurry, I need to make sure random people that I don't know, don't turn up!", Aliza said impatiently, as she peeked out from the side of the door and counted how many people were there. I don't care, I still had to look in the mirror, just one last time to make sure, I looked near to presentable. I looked down at my black lace bikini that had a diamond chain down the front of it, but because of my white, transparent cover up wasn't visible. "Alright, I'm ready!", I said grabbing her arm, before we ran onto the beach. It was very warm since it was the middle of summer, and the feeling of the soft, sand under my feet was inevitable as I walked slowly taking in the smell of the marshmallows!.... That were being roasted on the... Fire!. This party was better than I thought, well done Aliza.
I looked around and noticed some familiar faces, there was Lily the sweetest girl you could ever meet, also the very gullible, she had her light, floral dress and to match it a flowery headband. Then there was Ryan, the douchebag, there's always one in every group, the guy who is unrealistically good looking, but has an unbelievably ugly personality, I can't even count how many girls he's slept with, probably is a dad to about 1500 kids, half of them are probably in foster care and the other half in an adoption centre, guy needs a strait jacket. Oh, then there's Jason, who is also very handsome, but pretends he isn't, is also a jerk, and after me, Shit. He's walking towards me.
I try to walk away, and start a conversation with someone else, "So, right, I told him...
Then he goes... And I was like.... Then... I was so frikkin annoyed... Like... Then...",This girl wasn't gonna shut up was she? All I said was hi. I looked around clearly ignoring her, then walked over to Aliza, who was waving frantically, from 10 metres away.
"Thank you so much for saving me from her", I said looking back. "Oh, so she isn't with you?", Aliza said frowning, making creases appear in her forehead.
"Eh, no","Well, then, whoever this person is has got themselves into some deep shit", Aliza said, getting ready to tackle her, "Wait, Laura, while I go and find out who this stranger is, I need you to go into the car park and wait for a friend of mine, she'll be here any second, and I need you to give her these clothes so she can get ready, she's travelled from Australia, and left her stuff in her hotel". Before I could ask any questions, she stormed off. I squinted, to make the sign for the parking lot a bit more visible, it was so dark and the fire wasn't making it any easier for me to see.
The car park was small and empty. The air was relatively colder as well and the smell of the sea had disappeared. As I looked around, I saw tall green trees and bushes, there was a small footpath leading away from the beach, and sand was all over the floor. It reminded me of my summer trips to the beach with my family, we use-- I swung my head around as a noise interrupted my thoughts. I heard something stir, something big, a squirrel or a mouse couldn't possibly make that sort of noise, could they?. I was tempted to turn around and run for my life, when I heard a gentle voice call me, Rémy.
He stared at me and walked closer, but very slowly. He stopped only a few inches away from me. "You look beautiful" he said fixing his gaze on me. "Where's the picture?". I was too distracted to listen to anything he was saying. "Why did you leave so quickly this morning?", I said still odd from this morning.
"Are you going to tell me, where my picture is? "," What fucking picture?, Oh, right, that one, the one with you and your girlfriend? ", I said, proud of myself for remembering." She's not my girlfriend, are you going to give me the picture?". "Who is she so?", I said with curiosity. "None of your business", he said becoming annoyed, "Just give me the damn photo!". "It's at home", I was starting to get angry. How dare he speak to me like that, he's the one who forgot his photo, then he snaps at me when it's his fault. "What do you mean it's fucking home?!, could you not have brought it with you!, talk about having a bit of common sense!, Like--, Why are you fucking walking away from me now?!", he said following me with his gaze as i walked away trying to contain my anger.
