(Y/N POV)
We get to the cafe in 10 minutes. Shawn and I are rushing in, not wanting the other producer to have to wait anymore.
I hurry behind Shawn as he opens the door pushing through while it closes on me.
I roll my eyes opening it again and dashing in. Spotting Shawn's tall figure across the room, he shakes someone's hand. I can't see the person because Shawn's a troll. Walking to Shawn, the person peeks his head out. He's not taller than Shawn but he's hot, really hot.
I go to shake his hand but he puts it to his lips and gives it a gentle peck.
"It's nice to meet you." I greet.
"You too beautiful, I'm Frankie." He replies.
"C'mon, let's sit down now." Shawn interrupts ushering us with his hands.
I roll my eyes and sit down on the chair. Grabbing a menu, my eyes skim through it to see the possible dishes I could order.
The waiter comes over and takes our orders. I ordered a cheeseburger and fruit salad. Shawn and Frankie ordered after me.
The seating situation isn't working for me in the slightest. Shawn's sitting right next to me as Frankie is in front of me.
I opted to sit next to Frankie but Shawn pushed down on the side with him already.
While we are waiting for our food, Frankie sparks up a conversation clearing the tension.
"So are you guys together?" He curiously asks.
I look at him as he's crazy and start laughing.
Shaking me head no I say "we're divorced."
"Then why do you guys share a company?"
"Because she didn't want me to own the whole thing." Shawn smugly says looking over at me.
I roll my eyes once again.
"So you don't mind if I snatch her up." Frankie jokes but Shawn clearly not getting. He tenses up beside me grabbing my hand.
"I do mind, actually." Shawn speaks up. I remove my arm from his grip glaring at him.
"He doesn't control me Frankie, and if you are asking me on a date, I would love to get to know you better." I announce eyeing Shawn.
Shawn's features harden looking as if he's going to punch Frankie.
"I was actually going to ask you on a date. Can I get your number, you know to give you more information on it." He slyly says. I get my phone from my clutch as I reach my hand out for Frankie to take it but Shawn slaps his hand down on the phone causing it to drop in my latte.
"Shawn why would you do that?!" I exclaim retrieving my phone from the hot coffee.
"My hand slipped." Shawn smirks, leaning back crossing his hand with a satisfied look on his face.
I grab a pen from my purse writing my number down on a napkin and giving it to Frankie. He smiles putting it in his pocket.
"You owe me a new phone." I whisper to Shawn.
"Why, so you can text him?" He sneers.
"Why are you so mad, remember that you're the one the cheated on me." I emphasize.
"I told you, it was a mistake. I still love you." He admits.
"I loved you too much, that's maybe why we crashed and burned." I claim.
