When Wendy got up from her nap, she walked to the gift shop and saw the flowers and card on the counter. She smiled as she opened the card, to see what was written.
Dear Wendy,
I've been wanting to tell you that I've had a crush on you for awhile. I didn't know how else to tell you, probably because I'm a wimp. Anyway I thought a card was the next best thing. I also picked these flowers for you, I picked the best ones I could find. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I think I'm in love with you, is that crazy?
Love Dipper.
Wendy was touched by this. The flowers were beautiful, the card was sweet, what more could a girl ask for?
Wendy's (POV)
When I found the flowers and the card, I thought it was really sweet that Dipper went through the trouble to get them for me. I decided to go find him, and thank him. I found him in the living room, watching TV. I walked up to him, and kissed his cheek.
"Thank you Dipper."
After that I walked back to the gift shop to start my shift.
Dipper's (POV)
She kissed me! Holy cow, she kissed me! Again, not a kiss on the lips but I'll take it. It was amazing having her lips on my cheek, it made me blush really red. I hope she didn't see that.
I know people might say well she's too old for you or, she would never date a 12 year old. But I know Wendy, better than the people who say those things. I know for a fact that she would at least try to give me a chance. After all she did kiss my cheek just now.
Author's (POV)
Wendy couldn't stop thinking about Dipper, and how he gave her the flowers and card. She would re-read the card over and over. Every time she read it, it made her blush. Wendy turned the card around to see a heart that had....

Wendy blush deepen after seeing that. She knew then that Dipper really did love her, and it wasn't just a crush. And that's the thing, Wendy realizes that she loves him too.
