Kelsey's Point of View:

From: Justin

I love you.

I stared at my phone, completely stunned and taken back at the words that glowed on the screenin front of me.

I’d be lying if I said I expected him to do this because in all honesty, I didn’t.

Usually when we got into fights, we’d either scream it out or do what we did earlier, fight thenwalk away from each other to cool off.

Expect this time around, I didn’t think he’d make an effort like he had those times before.

Something about how he acted earlier made me feel as if our chances of working things out were thinning.

But I guess I was wrong.

Biting my lip, I felt the pit of my stomach churn in an unknowing fashion.

A part of me wanted to say it right back and have everything go back to the way it was before.

Before we got into a fight, before everything flipped upside down.

But another part of me screamed for me not to. To let him suffer for hurting me again when he promised me he wouldn’t anymore.

I squeezed my eyes shut.

Why did he have to be so god damn difficult? Why couldn’t he be like normal boyfriends, caring and understanding?

I scoffed to myself.

I know why.

Because he’s Justin Bieber and he as well as our relationship is anything but normal.

Taking a deep breath, I decided to text back.

To: Justin

Me too.

Biting my lip, I clicked send, seeing my screen blink the words: message sent.

Stuffing my phone back into my jeans, I continued my way down the hall, heading off to class.

Justin’s Point of View:

From: Babe

Me too.

The words glowed from the screen of my iPhone, taunting me of the mistake I had made earlier before.

I was hoping that my words would make things better that she would see how sorry I was but it looks like I was wrong.

She wanted nothing to do with me at this point and to be completely honest, I didn’t blame her.

I fucked up. Big time.

“Hey man, you alright?” John asked as he took a seat next to me on the couch.

I limply shrugged. “She’s mad at me. The usual.” I cracked a small grin.

John, however, didn’t buy into it. Instead, he shook his head at me. “You care about that girl more than anyone yet you still find a way to screw things up.”

I pursed my lips, knowing he was right but, me being my stubborn self, didn’t want to give into his words. “It’s out of my control.” I whispered.

“The hell it is.” John barked causing me to snap my head up to look at him a bit stunned. John was the calmest of us all so to see him get so angry was a bit of a surprise to say the least. “You have control over the way you treat your girl. No one else does but you.”

I shifted my gaze away from him hesitantly.

“Out of all the shit you put that girl through, she’s still here. Standing tall. You’re never going to find a girl like that, Justin. Ever. I may not know her personally but I could tell she’s one tough chick. The way she handled you taking her, your lifestyle, the way we live… the bomb exploding on your car. She stayed and didn’t even spill a word about the shit we do.”

I leaned my head back against the couch, listening in on John’s wise words wanting to curse the day he got so soft on me.

“You know I’m right. So why the hell do you continue to treat her like crap? The guys heard you from all the way down here. The shit you say to her… I respect and love you man, you’re like a brother to me but that shit was too much.”

“I know, John.” I scowled. “I know. I fucked up, okay?”

“No.” John sternly spoke. “You didn’t fuck up, you screwed up. Get your head out of your ass man and realize what the hell you’re doing. She isn’t Jen, she isn’t some bitch you picked up from the streets years ago. She’s your girlfriend.”

“Don’t you think I fucking know that already?!” I barked, the anger getting the best of me. “I know who she is and what she is to me. You don’t have to remind me.”

“Obviously I do because you keep on forgetting otherwise you wouldn’t treat her the way you do!”

“You make it seem like I’m fucking beating the shit out of her or something dude. Chill.” I spat.

“You may not physically be hurting her but you sure as hell are doing so mentally. You don’t see the shit you do but us guys down here, we heard it and we could legitimately feel her pain. The way your spit your words, it’s like your speaking to Kayla or something.”

“Fuck Kayla and Jen, John.” I sneered. “Stop bringing up their god damn names up.” I spat venomously. “I’ve had enough of both bitches to last me a life time.”

“I’m just trying to make a point man.”

“Point made, now drop it.” I hissed.

John stared at me long and hard before finally he shook his head in disbelief. “You’re in denial and you don’t even notice.”

“Denial over what, John?”

“Over the way you’re acting. What’s gotten into you man? I’m not Bruce and I’m certainly not the other guys. You can talk to me.”

I sighed in frustration. “I don’t know!” I bit my lip. “I just don’t know anymore man.” I averted my gaze, running my hands through my hair. “I just… every time things are going right between us, I say something to mess it all up. Y’know?”

John nodded for me to continue.

“I love her man. I really do but it’s like the second I’m happy and things are going right, something takes over me and I say or do something to fuck it up.”

Silence overwhelmed us for what felt like ages before John spoke up, breaking the ice. “It’s because you’re not used to someone caring for you like this man. I know you don’t want me to mention her name, so I won’t, but she screwed you up mentally. You feel as though every girl will end up doing what she did and I can assure you man, Kelsey isn’t like that.”

“I know she isn’t.” I bargained. “Trust me, she’s nothing like that bitch I unfortunately had the disgrace of being with.” I scowled at the thought of how long I had wasted my time with her when I could have been doing something so much more useful with my life.

“Something inside of me just bursts bro. It’s like someone else takes over my body and it isn’t me speaking anymore. It’s just the way I am, John. I can’t help it.”

John cocked his head to the side, scratching the back of his neck. “I know you can’t stop it but you sure as hell can control it.”

I twisted my lips to the side, wondering where he was going with this.

“When you’re around her, keep your thoughts mutual. Think of the things that make you happy when you’re with her. I know this sounds corny and shit but it works. I just don’t want to see you throw something so precious away.”

I nodded my head, letting his words sink in. “Thanks bro.” I patted his back in a brotherly way. “I really appreciate it.”

“Anytime. You know I’m always here for you. Besides, I totally put my money on you two getting together.” He smirked. “I wouldn’t want you to ruin that now.”

“You sound like a girl bro.”

“I’m just saying!” He defended with a laugh.

I couldn’t help but chuckle alongside with him.

“What’s so funny?” Bruce’s voice bellowed throughout the empty living area.

I shot my head up, grinning in his direction. “Nothing man.”

“I thought you were supposed to be in school?”

I shrugged. “I needed to clear my head. There was no way I’d be able to survive with teachers breathing down my neck and idiots staring at me as if I had ten heads.”

Bruce chuckled, nodding in understanding. “Alright but you really do gotta get your head in it man.”

“I know, I know.”

“So, since you’re here, I guess we can continue to work on our plan against Luke.”

Instantly, my attention was averted and I put on my A-Game, listening intently and leaning forwards, my elbows resting on my knees.

“We’ve decided on the shoot out but I think we should make it a bit more interesting…” Bruce grinned.

I smirked. “What do you have in mind?

“I say we bomb their warehouses.” Instantly a grin pulled at my lips. What do you guys think?”

“I say we do it. Give the bastard a bit of a surprise on why he shouldn’t fuck with us.” I leaned back against the couch a look of pure satisfaction on my features.

“If he even lives to see the results.” Marco called out making us all laugh.

“True that!” I chuckled.

“Now that we got that out of the way, the night we put the hit on him and his crew, we’re going to be wearing all black. We don’t need anyone seeing us and if they do, they can’t see our faces as you all already know. I’ve already got the guns all picked out and packed in the bags. I’ve got hand guns chosen for all of us to have just in case one of his guys are stupid enough to pull a fast one on us.”

All the guys including me nodded, already knowing the drill and the things we had to do to pull this mission together.

“When we hit, we’re going at midnight when the crews are usually out or planning. It’ll get them completely off guard. We’re taking the black SUV out back and doing a drive by before getting behind the hill just across the coast and shooting from afar.”

“And then we bomb ‘em.” I sickly smirked.

“Exactly.” Bruce stood up. “Now to make some arrangements.”

I furrowed my eyebrows, my eyebrows shooting up in curiosity. “Arrangements?”

“On the bombing.” Was all he said before turning and walking away.

I shrugged, turning back to the guys as we began talking about how hyped we were to finally get Luke and all his bullshit out of the way.

The entire time however, I couldn’t help but think about Kelsey and what she was doing.

Kelsey’s Point of View:

Fuck Justin and his hold over me.

The whole entire time during class, I couldn’t even pay attention because no matter what I did, the only thing that came to mind was Justin.

Justin, Justin, Justin and more Justin.

You couldn’t even imagine my happiness when the day had finally ended, the second the final bell rang.

Exiting the room after gathering all my things together, or rather, what was left of my things, I made my way to my locker, stuffing all the unnecessary books that I didn’t need for the night inside before slamming it shut and walking outside.

It was then that I realized Justin wasn’t here to take me home and I had no other ride. Biting my lip to keep from screaming, I began walking home.

At least it gave me time to clear my mind, I thought while crossing the street and making my way down the sidewalk.

How did my life become so screwed up in the matter of seconds? Just yesterday things were looking like they were going to take a turn for the better and now? It was anything but better, it was worse.

It wasn’t until earlier today, in Earth Science, that I realized that my bag had burned in the explosion of Justin’s car, half of my school books burned to crisps.

And now, I have to face the wrath of my parents.

Just what I needed to make my day even better. Note the sarcasm.

After about ten to fifteen minutes, I had finally made it home. Just as I was about to knock on the door, I noticed it was opened slightly. Furrowing my eyebrows, I pushed the door open hesitantly. “Mom? Dad?”

“In here!” I heard my mom call from the kitchen.

Making my way inside, I shifted uncomfortably on my feet. “Hey…”

“I’m glad you made it on time.” My mom turned from the sink after drying her hands to face me. “To be completely honest Kelsey, I didn’t expect you to.”

I bit my lip. “Well, I said I would and here I am, so…”

She nodded, pressing her lips firmly together. “Take a seat, Kelsey.”

I did as I was told, noticing my father sitting down as well but this time he stood up and made his way over to my mom, standing beside her as they both stared at me openly.

“Your father and I have had enough time to think and talk about this and well, as you’ve already expected, we’re really disappointed in you Kelsey.”

I looked down at my fingers, not knowing what to say.

“But we’re glad that you took the time to focus on school.”

My head shot up, confused.

“We’re still not happy that you didn’t call and spent the night at a strangers house while you were grounded but nonetheless you did it for school purposes and we’re glad it wasn’t because of something else.”

“Your mother and I have come to terms that you are somewhat out of your punishment for the time being only for school purposes but other than that, you are still grounded with no TV or outside communications with friends.”

I tried so hard not to smile, knowing that I was able to see Justin without having to get into trouble with not calling or sneaking out.

“We are trusting you enough to do as you’re told. Even though we’re still angry with you, we can’t keep you from doing projects. You may also bring your partner to the house where you will have only a few selected hours to work together.”

I nodded. “I understand.” I squeaked out, completely taken back at this point.

“Good, we’re glad you understand.” My mom pursed her lips. “We only want what’s best for you, Kelsey. You know that… right?”

I genuinely smiled. “Of course.” Hopping down from my seat, I walked over to them, throwing my arms around them both. “I love you guys.”

“And we love you too.” They spoke in unison.

Pulling away, I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. “Is that it?”

“For now, yes. Unless you pull a stunt like you had all those times before then you’ll never hear the end of it.”

I chuckled. “Sir, yes, sir.” I saluted them causing them to laugh lightly before I turned and walked away.

To be completely honest, I was afraid I’d be indefinitely shunned from the world with absolutely no outside life which meant that I wouldn’t be able to see Justin.

If that were to have happened, our issues wouldn’t be handled and the last thing I wanted was for our fight to go on forever.

If anything, I wanted it to end as soon as possible.

Despite what happened, I couldn’t stay mad at him forever.

I cared and loved him too much.

Justin’s Point of View:

“When’s he coming?” I heard John ask Bruce moments after he came back from making arrangements.

“Soon.”

I furrowed my eyebrows together in confusion. “Who’s coming?” Looking between both John and Bruce, I stared at the others as well. They shrugged, just as clueless as I was.

Or so I hoped.

Right when Bruce opened his mouth to answer me, the front door opened causing us all to snap our heads over in its direction.

Shuffling was heard and seconds later, a figure emerged and almost instantly I felt my stomach twist.

Standing a few feet away from me was the one and only Jason McCann.

“Miss me boys?” He grinned.

I couldn’t help but scowl.

Turning to face Bruce, I glowered at him. “Really? Out of all the people in this world, you had to make arrangements to call him in?”

“Aw, don’t seem so upset, Bieber. You know I’m the best in the business.” Jason mocked, his eyes gleaming in sarcastic sourness.

“And by far the most annoying.” I spat, my eyes shooting daggers in his direction.

“Now, now Bieber… let’s be civil. I am here, in fact, to help you.”

“And how is that?”

“You want to blow up Luke Delgado’s warehouse, right?” He smirked.

My jaw locked tight.

Fucking hell.
