Michael has had the really weird feeling onesie of him ever since he's been going out with Ashley, it's nothing bad or affecting it's just he's happy. He's never went out with a girl before so he's quite new to all of this.
All he did for the last year was get high, meet new people and of course hang out with his group. His family are average, they don't really care what he does as long as he's still alive. They didn't even call to ask of he was okay in rehab or anything. It's always been Ashley ever since he's met her she's always been there for him.
So that's why he's going to ask her to marry him.
He knows he's never done the while relationship thing but he didn't want to experience it with anyone else but her, he considers that lucky. Imagine he said to his kids he married his first ever girlfriend? That's an achievement for Michael if you ask him.
He was nervous, he wanted to ask Ashton what he would think about it.
"What?" He was speechless and Michael lightly laughed.
"You're still in school bro." Ashton reminded him.
"So? We're graduating in six mounts." He shrugged.
"It just seems so...sudden?" He was confused on why Ashton was acting so mature.
"You would marry Meagan in a heart beat." He folded his arms.
"You know I would. But I mean-" Michael cut him off.
"I think I really fancy more than I should." Michael said.
"Do you mean love?" Ashton laughed.
"What's that?" He asked.
"Fucked up, that's what it is." Ashton told him.

Michael dressed in his normal attire, a big jumper with black skinny jeans and black dr martins. With his sweater paws he lightly knocked on Ashley's front door. A few moments kicked in when he felt his stomach making a knot, his breathing was like an uneven ocean.
Her auntie answered it and he felt his heart racing even more.
"Michael! It's lovely to see you." She greets him with a smile.
"Hello, is Ashley home?" He slowly asked feeling the nerves coming through.
"She's in her room, Michael. Come on in." She moved her body to let him past. He looked at the lovely paintings by the hallways as he knew it was Ashley's work. He found the door that said 'Ashley's room :)'. He walked in without knocking as they're both comfortable with each other.
He saw her sitting on her bed scrolling through her phone, she looked up with the biggest smile on her face. "Hey, teddy." She got up and hugged him. He greeted with a small hello.
"What's wrong? You seem so...nervous." She squinted her eyebrows, he lead her to her bed for them to both sit down. He took her hands, she looked down at them feeling confused.
"Ashley, for the many months I've known you they've been great. I've developed an emotion I never bought I would feel other than I would with drugs. You are so special in every way like oh my goodness you make me so happy." He paused taking a deep breath, Ashley smiled with the compliment.
"What I'm trying to say is I don't know if this might be too soon or even mental but I want to do this because I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else." He started to feel emotional. Ashley felt worried.
"Michael?" She felt really concerned.
"-will you marry me Ashley?" He blurted out, her face froze she didn't move her body one bit. Michael regretted saying it, he knew it would be too soon- fuck he's never been in a relationship never mind marrying someone.
Ashley leaned in and kissed him, he didn't know what this meant but he kissed back straight away. After the kiss she grabbed his face, they both touch foreheads and smiled.
"Michael... I would love to marry you." She whispers. Michael felt his jaw fly open. He jumped around screaming from the top of his lungs, Ashley laughed feeling happier than ever she felt in her life.
Her auntie walked in wanting to know the noise was about or if someone got murdered.
"What on earth is going on?"
Michael took her aunties hand for permission.
"I wanted to know if I can take your nieces life into mine and marry her?" He asked feeling on the edge or if she would scream and kick him out. All she did was cry and it scared Michael.
"What's wrong?" Ashley touched her shoulder.
"Your mother didn't have the experiencing marriage, she just made you and that was it, you know how much she would love to be at at your own wedding, and be proud of you and to find such a gentleman. Michael, please keep her right." She sniffed, Michael nodded agreeing.
"I will never let her leave my sight."

1 month later. Wedding day.
(You're all probably thinking 'wtf this is so quick' but it's not bc I've been skipping months and even tho if I'm not wrote about them as much in recent chapters, they've been with each other for a while and I wanted to make everything happen so quickly. + rich and grace got engaged like weeks after they got together so yoloyoloyolo. Love can be quick but could last a lifetime.)
Everyone was jumping for joy, they were so happy for Michael, he's achieved a lot from the past year. With dealing with with car crash and rehab he's met a beautiful girl out of it.
'Well hello, Mr and Mrs Clifford." Luke patted Michael's shoulder.
All they could do was smile.
"How do you feel buddy?" Luke asked excitedly.
"It's insane." He smiled. Ashley's kissed his cheek.
Clio ran over and hugged Ashley, the boys smiled.
"I'm so happy for the both of you!!"
"Thank you, darling." Ashley was overwhelmed.
Half of the hang were on the dance floor or are at the food court.
Ashley wanted everyone to wear white as if it was everyone's wedding, so all the girls worse fancy white dresses. Michael just thought skinny jeans and a half of a tux would do good for the guys.
Calum sat on a seat by one of the tables everyone had their dinners on feeling miserable, he misses Lola. He could of token her here. He came today not wanting to miss this opportunity. But he stayed home ever since he found out.
He felt a shadow blocking the light, he looked up to see Meagan.
"Why are you sitting by yourself?" She came sat next to him.
"It's where I belong." He sighed.
"Don't say that." She slapped his arm. "You mean a lot to me." She admitted.
"Listen, that night we... Let's forget about it." He said and Meagan felt a little sad but she along with it anyways.
"Oh yeah sure, I'm happily together with Ashton." She smiled looking over but her smile dropped when she saw him with Florence. They were fighting over the cake, making a mess and putting icing on their faces. Calum looked as well and looked back at Meagan.
"Are you sure?" He asked, Meagan hesitated.
"Yes. We've crossed that patch. We're fine now." She nodded.
As they both saw Florence walked over Meagan had no hesitation to move away without an excuse, give her a dirty look walking past.
"Hello." She jump on the seat with joy.
"You wanna explain?" Calum smirked looking over to see Ashton with Meagan, they're dancing.
"Nothing." She mumbled. Calum harshly laughed.
"You guys were holding hands that night-" Calum froze from the flashback he had of that night. That one night he wanted to forget but of course he never will.
"Look, you were in a lot of stress. You were obviously seeing stuff." She tried to change the situation but everyone knew what happened.
"Don't try to deny it Flo." Meagan said dancing over by the table. Ashton uncomfortably coughed to make her stop. She giggled and danced away.
Florence sighed putting her hand on her cheek to rest on. "Why do you love that?" she asked Calum.
"What makes you think I love her?" He asked making it obvious that he does.
"Because you fucked her maybe? Before we all walked in?" She sarcastically said.
"You have no proof." He scoffed.
"She was in a robe, coming out of your room completely sweaty and your hair was all messy." She raised an eyebrow.
"Hey, that rhymed."
"Don't try to change the subject."
"Look, what difference does it make? They both made mistakes by fucking their friends-"
"She's not my friend." She made sure she got the 'not' part loud enough.
"You were before all of this." He thought.
"Calum, don't you see that we never got along, yes we were civil and made jokes but I fucking hate her." She admitted. Calum was shocked as he was too stupid to realise not everyone in the group got along.
"How about we all get a photo!" Ashley's auntie cheered holding up a vintage camera.
"Oh, could you take it on my phone? I want to post this on Instagram!" Meagan held her alumnus pink iPhone, everyone playfully rolled their eyes and laughed. Well, Florence just rolled her eyes.
"Sure." She smiled taking the phone.
Michael unexpectedly picked up Ashley bridal style as she screamed from it being out of the blue. Stevie and Cassie held hands, Meagan and Ashton stood next to each other with Ashton's hand around Meagan's waist. Florence stood next to Calum and made him out his arm around her, he smiled. Luke wrapped his hands around Clio's waist with his head on the crook of her neck.
"Alright everyone, make a silly face and we'll make a nice one for my camera." She chuckled lightly and everyone nodded their heads.
"3...2...1...say cheese!"
"CHEESE!" Everyone shouts making the silliest faces they could do.

Michael once again picked up Ashley bridal style into their honeymoon suite. They are currently in Hawaii.
"This is amazing." Michael was shocked.
"My auntie kept money for my honeymoon one day, since my mother didn't have a wedding she thought she would keep it for her niece or something and I was the lucky one." She smiled.
"You miss her don't you?" He asked stroking her arm.
"I guess rehab was an escape in forgetting about her. I mean I had Matty and everyone else at the time. Then, you came along and turned my life right back around- I mean rehab wasn't the living hell but I mean she was the reason I was kinda there. I know it seems confusing but it's just..." Michael thought she was going to cry so he stopped her by hugging her tightly like the teddy bear he was.
"You're very important to me, I don't want to be cliché as fuck but you're my world."
"You're right, that was cliché as fuck." She scrunched her nose due to the cheesy sentence.
He shrugged laughing.
"I can't believe you're Ashley Clifford." He smiled feeling so happy.
"I can't believe it either. I guess it was fate." She giggled.
"Ew, that was cheesier than my one." He said chuckling.
"What can I say?" She stuck out her tongue, Michael playfully touched it with is making her feeling disgusted in a jokey way.
