It all started when he walked in with those monsters. When he did I knew my life would never be the same again.
"Argh... how much longer until my shift is over." ding a ling a ling the door opened up as the old fashioned doorbell rang.
"Oh... hey guy's what can I get you today?" I greeted them.
The brother was at least a head higher than his twin sister, they were both 15 years old. I know that the sister was older but only by a few seconds. The siblings had blond hair and blue eyes. The girl's hair reached half way down her back and the boy had short hair so he used second size hair clippers.
The girl was wearing blue skinny jeans and a grey short sleeved shirt saying I love Paris.
The boy had a black hoodie with a gold tribal pattern on the sleeve and brown cargo pants.
The girl took a seat by the window in the corner of the coffee shop against the Kermit green wall.
Her brother strode over to the counter and placed a $20 dollar note down.
"Hey Mark we'll just have a chocolate and strawberry milk shake please."
"Sure thing James, I'll bring it over to you and Sophie once it's ready."
"Do you think he is still following us" James whispered to his twin Sophie.
"Good chance he is, and he's probably getting close too, he has eyes and ears everywhere" Sophie suggested.
"So what do you think we should"... ding a ling a ling James was interrupted as a group of odd, muscular looking customers wearing big brown overcoats covering most of their body and wearing sun glasses, they also had really grey skin like dried mud but there was one guy in the middle of the group was who grinning, he was about half the size of the big men and had grey hair tied into a ponytail.
"I'll be right with..." Mark stops as he realised who walked in and stops midsentence.
"Well, well, well so you were hiding here in San Francisco all along" the short man pronounced with a British accent.
"Mark stay down!" Sophie shouts from the other side of the shop as one of the big men Frisbees a table at him and narrowly misses his head, obliterating the jars of caffeine and coffee cups on the shelf.

"Ah! Who are these people!? They're destroying the shop." Mark screams as the twins dodge the big men's punches and kicks.
"The small guy is Dr John Nick but the big guys aren't even remotely human, they are clay people called golems." James answered as he counters and blows one of them through the window and onto the warm deserted street.
"Mark run out the back door now!" James ordered as the siblings followed him out.
The group escaped out the back door of the coffee shop and onto a narrow side ally, they bolted down the alley way to find more golems positioned at the end of the ally way, James turned back only to find that Dr John Nick and the rest of the golems had pursued them through the back of the shop.
"Sophie you ready to fight," James asked as he started to illuminate a gold glow, little wisps of gold smoke drifted off of him and there was a heavy scent of mint in the air.
"Yeah, I'm ready to mop the floor with these guys," Sophie intimidated. "Mark when I say, lie flat on the ground alright."
"Got it," Mark replied as he was crouching down ready to dive onto the ground.
Sophie had started to illuminate a silver shine, there was a eucalyptus scent. Her hair started to lift off her back like there was a slight breeze and strands of silver static electricity were rippling along her hair.
"Mark down now!" James shouted as he turned to be back to back to his twin.
All the golems had started to boulder at the siblings but they were blown in to splatters of grey mud as James sent a huge ball of fire at the golems that were at the end of the ally way.
Sophie sent a gush of ice at Dr John Nick's feet and froze them to the concrete and froze the golems into little ice cubes.
Sophie lazily walked over to Nick and stood in front of him with her arms crossed.
"So what should we do with you now hmm? I think we should lock you up and throw away the key. What do you think, James?"
"Hold up now, before we go locking any body and throwing away the key you two need to tell me what in the world just happened." Mark interrupted.
"Don't worry, I'll tell you everything on the way, but we need to get going because there will be monsters all over here soon," James insured.
So that's how my life was turned upside down in less then 10 minutes or so, all because of two magical twins. Now I'm traveling around the country helping them with what ever magical thing there up to, but it's a lot of fun and I'm glad we met.
