I WATCHED AS Oliver's arrow pierced through the pilot's chest. We were waiting for Guillermo Barrera. I saw how our target got off the plane. He was about to shoot Oliver, but he shot and arrow through his hand. He glared at him. "Guillermo Barrera, you have failed this city." Oliver said, pointing his arrow at him.

Guillermo glared at Oliver. "You have builded quite a reputation." He said before slowly pulling out a knife. I rolled my eyes at him, and threw at bat-boomerang on his hand. He dropped the knife. He turned around to look at me. "I didn't knew Bats were in this area. I thought they stayed around Gotham." He told me.

I rolled my eyes behind my mask. "Well, I decided to expand my territory." I told him in a threatening voice. "Good thing I did." I told him, showing him another bat-boomerang.

Oliver glared at him. "You should have stayed over seas." He told him.

Guillermo turned to face him in amusement. "I thought about it, but then I remembered I got a reputation too." He told Oliver. He turned to face me, still keeping an eye on Oliver. "Oh, and the Joker sends his regards. He misses you and your little friend Batgirl." He said to me. I froze in my spot. I clenched the bat-boomerang with all my might, trying not to trough it at him.

Oliver charged at him, and while he fought him I tried to calm myself down. He was about to stab Oliver with a knife, but Oliver shot him dead. He turned to face me. "Time to go." Oliver said to me, looking towards the police sirens. I followed him, not looking back. "What was that about?" He asked me, as we ran to his motorcycle. "You froze. I have never seen you like that." He added. I put my arms around Oliver as he started the motorcycle.

"Nothing, just leave it." I told him as we went through Starling's streets.

"Who is the Joker?" He asked me.

"A psycopath asshole." I told him. "He hurt somebody I really cared about." I told him.

"Ex?" He asked me.

I shook my head in denial. "Best friend, Batgirl." I told him. "You probably haven't heard about her, but she is one of the sets of Bats found in Gotham. I'm one of them too." I explained it to him.

"Does the Joker know you?" He asked me.

"Thankfully, he does not know my secret identity. He knows my hero name though, The Hell Bat. He hates me for not laughing at his terrible puns and jokes. He is psychotic. He uses laughing gas as a weapon. Oh, and don't get me started on his toys." I told him, holding tightly as we went through a curve. "The idiot also hates me and calls me Batman's sidekick along with Nightwing, who used to be the original Robin." I explained.

"And you are not a sidekick?" Oliver joked.

"Hey, I'm your partner, not your sidekick." I told him.

I walked down the stairs, following Oliver. Felicity and Diggle turned to face us. "I need you to hack his phone. Barrera's world class. He kills high profile targets and whatever job he has hired for isn't finish. We need to figure out who he was here to kill, and fast. They are probably still in danger." Oliver said, handing the phone to Felicity.

"Okay," Felicity said, taking the phone. "How was the mission?" She asked me.

"It went...fine." I told her, taking out my gloves.

"Are you okay?" She asked me. I nodded at her. I looked at my phone, sighing as I remembered I had dinner plans with Aidan. "Why are you sighning?" The blonde asked me.

"I have to go and see Aidan." I told her, quickly taking out my mask. I turned to Oliver. "You are meeting us there, right?" I asked Oliver. He nodded at me, his hold of his bow tighting. We had dinner plans with Tommy and Laurel to celebrate Tommy's birthday.

"Drive safely." I heard Oliver say before I left.

Me and Aidan exited the elevator door, just to see Oliver making out with McKenna. Aidan looked surprised, but I was not. "We don't see to be going inside." McKenna told Oliver, pulling away.

"Clearly you aren't." I told the two of them. The both turned to look at me, wide eyed. Oliver took a few steps away from her. "Nice to see you McKenna." I told her.

"Nice to you." She said, nodding at me. "And you bought a date? Who is this?" She asked.

"Officer Aidan Turner," I told her as McKenna shook Aidan's hand.

"Nice to meet you." McKenna said, giving him a polite smile.

"Happy Birthday, Buddy." Oliver told Tommy before giving him a bro hug.

Tommy turned to look at me with a giant smile. "Happy Birthday, Tommy." I told him as I pulled him into a tight hug. He kissed my cheek, before taking my present.

"Welcome, oh nice to see you too Aidan. Have you finally watched the film I recommended you?" Tommy asked Aidan as we both walked inside, followed by Oliver and his date.

"It was great. I understand why Clara loves it." Aidan told him, patting his shoulder. "Happy Birthday." Aidan added. Tommy shook his hand.

"I'm glad you could come." Tommy told Aidan.

Oliver handed Tommy his present. "Oh, this looks like a chateuneuf de pape." Tommy told Oliver, taking the bottle of alcohol with him.

Oliver chuckled. "It's going to taste like it too." Oliver told Tommy. He then turned to McKenna. "Tommy, you remember McKenna Hall." Oliver told Tommy.

Tommy smirked at Oliver. "From back in the day." Tommy stated.

"And back again." McKenna added.

I walked towards Laurel, giving her a tight hug. We both pulled away, letting Tommy present McKenna Hall to Laurel. "Laurel, this is McKenna Hall." Tommy told Laurel, pointing at McKenna.

Laurel shook hands with her. "We know each other from the court house." Laurel told Tommy. "How are you consoler?" Laurel asked McKenna.

McKenna smiled at her. "I'm well. A detective." McKenna answered.

Tommy smiled at us. "I'm going to crack this open." Tommy said, running towards the kitchen. I let out a small laugh as I saw him ran out of the room, making a weird face at me.

Aidan put his arm around my waist, kissing my forehead. We followed Laurel and McKenna inside the living room. "Such a nice apartment. So much space." McKenna said, looking around. She picked up a small photo frame. "How old where you here?" The woman asked Laurel.

Laurel let out a sad laugh. "That's actually my sister Sara." Laurel told her.

McKenna set the frame down as if it was going to burn her. "Oh, I'm so sorry." She whispered to Laurel.

Laurel shrugged, raisign her hands in defeat. "No, no, it's okay. I don't know why my father bought her that canary. That thing chirped night and day, drove us all crazy." Laurel told McKenna.

"Table ready...and glasses ready." Tommy yelled from the dinning room. Aidan laughed at him. "It's nice to know somebody does appreciate my sense of humor." He said, nodding towards Aidan.

Aidan moved the chair for me to seat, just like a gentlemen. I pecked him on the lips, thanking him for his polite gesture. Tommy raised from his seat, taking his glass with him. "A toast. To the first birthday I have enjoyed in a long time, and it's all because I have finally my two best friends here with me." Tommy said, looking at me and Oliver who were sitting right next to each other. His eyes then turned to Laurel. "And I have finally figured out why poets have been in business for the last few thousands year." He said, making us laugh.

"Happy Birthday baby." Laurel told him, pecking him on the lips.

"Thank you." Tommy said, smiling at her. A bell rang, surprising us.

Laurel stood up from her seat. "Oh, I think that's the food." Laurel said, walking towards the door.

Tommy sighed in relived. "Thank god, she didn't cook." He joked, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Tommy." I told him.

Tommy raised his hands in defense. "She doesn't cook as good as you though." Tommy said, causing me to scoff at him.

"That is true." Oliver added.

Laurel sighed, walking towards us. Behind her was someone who I did not expect to be here: Malcolm Merlyn. Tommy's face harden at the sight in front of him. "We will be just a second." I told Aidan and McKenna as I stood up along with Oliver. We followed Tommy and his father to the other room.

I let out a fake cough, catching Malcolm's attention. "Clara, Oliver." Malcolm said, greeting us.

"Mr.Merlyn," Me and Oliver replied, giving him a polite smile.

"I have been trying to get in touch with you." Malcolm said, turning to his only son.

Tommy glared at him. "What are you doing here, dad?" Tommy asked his father with a deadly low voice.

"Happy Birthday, Tommy." Malcolm said to Tommy.

Tommy looked at me. "Just give us a second." He said to me. I nodded at him before leading Oliver to another room.

"Why do you think Malcolm is here? He never shows up to Tommy's birthday party ever since we were twelve." I told Oliver, glaring at the wall.

"I don't know." Oliver said, poking his head around the corner to see if Tommy was still talking to his dad. "I didn't know Tommy got along so well with Aidan." Oliver said to me.

I sighed, knowing the look he was giving me. "Hey, in Tommy's defense. He specifically said he wanted to get along with my boyfriend, and he also said that Aidan was the best boy I have picked in years. You just have to give him a chance." I told Oliver as I look at Aidan talking to Laurel. "Look, even Laurel likes him. Please, just go and have a nice chat. Tommy did it for me." I told Oliver, looking at him with pleading eyes. "You are going to see him more often now that he is moving in with me." I told Oliver, looking down at the floor.

I saw how Oliver stiffen. "You what?" He yelled, causing me to jump. Laurel, McKenna and Aidan turned towards us.

"We are having a nice discussion. Carry on talking." I told them, turning back to Oliver. I could see the anger slowly raising inside of him. "Why are you mad?" I asked him, crossing my arms over my chest.

Oliver hesitated before speaking to me. "I'm not mad." He replied quietly.

I scoffed at him. "You are. You are turning red." I told him, putting emphasis on the word red. Oliver sighed, pacing around the room. "He is my boyfriend. I'm not leaving him anytime soon." I told Oliver.

"He is not the right guy for you." Oliver told me, giving me the same excuse he always gave me.

I was losing my patience. I have heard that sentence enough times. "Then who is it? Tell me, because I will love to know. Who is up to your standard? I'm the one who is dating him and it's my choice." I told Oliver, before rolling my eyes. I turned around, walking back towards the table.

I sighed, knowing that I had messed up. I was letting my jealousy get the best of me. I saw Tommy walk Aidan towards the kitchen. I followed them. Aida had the same grin that he always had. "Hey, Oliver. I was just talking to Aidan about how you are a good runner." Tommy said to me.

Aidan turned around to faced me. I gave him a fake smile. "I'm also a good boxer." I told him.

Aidan chuckled at me. Did he really thought I was funny? "Good thing you are here. I was about to ask Tommy something that I believe I should ask you too. You are both really close to Clara, and she loves you both greatly. I was...I was wondering if I could ask her to marry me." Aidan told me.

I stared at her in confusion as I felt the cup I had in my hand, slip through my fingers. I clenched my fist, glaring at Aidan. My hearing faded and all I could see was me shooting an arrow at Aidan. "IS everyone okay?" I heard Clara ask from the door. She knelt down in front of me, picking up a towel to pick up the glass.

I knelt down, trying to help her. "I'm sorry." I told Tommy, helping Clara clean the remains of the glass. I sighed, quickly standing up. I ignored Clara's calls as I left Tommy apartment. I need fresh air. I ran down the stairs, and opened the door that let to the main street. Taking deep breaths, I paced around hoping that will calm me.

I leant on the brick wall, holding my head in my hands. I let out a frustrated scream, kicking the nearest trash can. "Ollie?" I heard a voice said behind me. I turned around, looking at Clara over my shoulder. "What happened? Are you okay? Did Aidan said something to you? Because if he did then I will stop seeing him." Clara said quickly. She had her arms wrapped around her, making me notice she was not wearing her jacket.

I looked at her with a sad smile. "He..." I started, but did not continue. I could not stop lying to myself. Aidan made Clara happy. He made her smile, and I could never forgive myself if I ever took that smile away from her. "He didn't said anything. I just...had a flashback." I lied to her.

Clara look at me with sad eyes. "You are lying to me, Oliver. Please. Do not lie to me. Tell me." Clara said as I handed her my jacket.

I sighed, giving her a fake smile. "It's nothing you should worry about. Everything is fine. I will tell you when I'm really." I told Clara. I put an arm around her shoulder, walking with her back to the apartment.

I sighed, walking down the stairs to the HQ. "Hey, Fel. I bought you your coffee. What's the great news?" I asked her, handling her her coffee. "Oh, and here is yours as well Diggle." I told Diggle, passing him his coffee.

"You are the best." Diggle told me.

Oliver looked between Felicity and I. "You guys talk to each other?" Oliver asked us.

Felicity and I shared an amused look. "Yeah. We do. We had even had an sleepover already. We talked about boys, and I finally met Clara's boyfriend. He is so sweet, and a gentlemen." Felicity told Oliver.

Oliver clenched his jaw. "He is the only one who hates Aidan." I told Felicity. "Even Diggle agrees with Aidan. Don't you Dig?" I asked Diggle. Diggle smirked at Oliver.

"I agree with Clara." Diggle told Oliver.

Oliver sighed, turning to Felicity. "What did you find in Barrera's phone?" Oliver asked Felicity.

The blonde shrugged. "Just last number he dialed" Felicity said, pulling it out on the computer.

"Which was?" Oliver asked her.

"A restaurant in chinatown. 1257 Merle Street. Jade Dragon. I guess even hired killers enjoy the city's best chow mien." Felicity joked, earning a smile from me.

"Yeah, the Jade dragon is a front for the Chinese mafia." Oliver added. "Call the resturant, make a reservation for three for tonight. You need to decrypt that phone." Oliver told Felicity. He then turned turned towards me.

"We are eating chiease tonight?" I asked him.

"I'm kind in the mood for chinese now." Oliver said, raising up from his seat. "You coming, Clara?" He asked me. I nodded, following him.

We sat down next to Tommy. It had been a while since the three of us sat alone together to eat. "That is one big fried fish." Tommy said, looking down at the fish we ordered.

I let out a small laugh. Oliver smiled at Tommy. "I was told this was the most authentic szechwan in town. Whatever, I wanted to make sure that your birthday celebration goes well. It was a little tense last night." He told Tommy.

"Well, trust my dad to ruin all the smiles out of the room." Tommy said to us.

Oliver shrugged, passing me a piece of fish. "He did come by, and it seemed like he was trying to act a little bit dad-like." Oliver informed him.

"Dad-like, that sums up my father perfectly." Tommy sarcastically said.

Oliver took a piece of the fish, looking at Tommy. "I know the two of you have never been close, but it couldn't have been easy for him after your mom was killed." Oliver reminded him.

"Yeah, I guess he forgot that there were two of us in that club." Tommy said to me.

"Tommy," I told him, looking at him with a tired look.

"I'm not defending him, Tommy. It's...that with everything I have been through, people that I have lost, I know how hard it can be." Oliver said. I set a supporting hand on Oliver's knee that was noticed by Tommy.

"You probably don't remember this, Clara probably does though. We were eight, but after her funeral he left for like two years; and when he did come back he was was so freaking cold. We barely spoke, and that's why I spent so much time at your house. From the outside, it always looked like I had a father, he payed my bills, he lived in the house, he bailed me out. But your dad took me to my first hockey game. You dad taught me how to fly fish. Your dad took us to our first R-rated movie." Tommy told Oliver.

I smiled at the memory of  Oliver's father. "But he wasn't perfect. My dad made mistakes, we haven' talked about this, but I have a lot of anger towards him." Oliver confessed.

"See, two things you both have in common, you both dislike your own dads." I told them both, eating some of my food.

Oliver nodded at me. "I still have anger towards him, but I still will do anything to have him back because...at the end of the day, your dad is...your dad." Oliver told Tommy.

"I meant what I said last night. I'm really glad that you are back." Tommy told Oliver.

Oliver smiled at the both of us. "I did miss these hangouts with you two, idiots." I told the two of them. Tommy messed up my hair, chuckling at my distressed face.

"I missed it too." Tommy said to me.

I noticed Oliver stiffen behind me when he caught sight of somebody. He stood up from the chair, and leant towards me. "I will be back. Got something I have to look. Hero stuff." Oliver whispered to me. I nodded at him. "I got to hit the restroom." He said to Tommy.

Tommy nodded at him before turning towards me. "So, did you finally decided to move in with Aidan?" Tommy asked me.

I nodded at him. "It weeks, almost two months; but I have finally agreed on moving in with him. I sometimes feel it's going fast, but I'm happy. And this will allow me to see if marrying him will be really worth it." I told Tommy.

Tommy cringe at the word marriage. "What? You have actually never thought about settling with Laurel?" I asked him.

Tommy sighed, taking a sip from his beer. "I have. It's just that...I don't think she is up for that commitment. I don't know if she will marry me." Tommy said to her. "It was almost an impossible mission to move her in." Tommy joked.

I laughed lightly. "Oliver didn't took well, the moving thing. I don't want to imagine what will happen if Aidan will propose to me." I told Tommy. Tommy chocked on his beer, surprising me. "Are you okay?" I asked him.

Tommy gave me a thumps up in response. "Are you happy with Aidan?" Tommy asked me.

I nodded at him. "Yeah, I'm really happy. I love him." I told Tommy.

Tommy smiled at me. "Then...you have my blessing." Tommy said to me.

"I'm still not getting marry any time soon." I told Tommy, causing him to laugh.

"You don't know when I will not be there. I just...wanted to tell you that I'm happy for you." Tommy said to me. "However, if it you are marrying somebody at some point in you life, and if you don't get to marry with Aidan...please marry Oliver. You will have all my blessing and I will be the happiest guy in the entire world." Tommy said to me.

"Ollie will never marry me, Tommy." I told him.

Tommy laughed at my words, confusing me. "Right." He scoffed.

"He would never do it. Let's be honest here. He only sees me as a friend, and it will always be that way." I told Tommy. "Plus, I have never thought of actually dating Ollie. It's not a bad idea, but I'm currently with Aidan and I don't want to risk an amazing friendship." I told Tommy.

Tommy raised his hands in defense. "I was putting my ideas out there." Tommy said to me. "So, deal?" Tommy asked me, raisign his beer. I nodded at him, clicking bottles with him.

Oliver took a seat next to me. "Hey, what did I miss?" Oliver asked us.

I slowly opened my mouth, thinking of the words I will use. "We...were just talking about life and reationships." I told Oliver.

"Oh, now that's an interesting topic." Oliver said, looking for server.

"Yeah, about that. Umm, I gave Clara my blessing." Tommy said to Oliver. Oliver sighed, looking down at his plate.

"About what?" Oliver asked, sharing a knowing look with Tommy.

"Well, in case Aidan married her. I want her to be happy as much I you do." Tommy told Oliver. Oliver nodding at Tommy.

"Right." Oliver muttered, his mind drifting off someplace else.

Clara P.O.V

"Why take me with you Tommy? You could have asked Laurel." I told him as I walked up inside the venue with him. They were congratulating the rich people who donated the most to Starling City.

Tommy sighed, looking around. "I needed somebody that I trust with my dear beating heart. Specially somebody that will just make fun of my dad with me. Knows what I have been through. Plus, you said you missed hanging out." Tommy said to me.

I smiled at him. "Laurel doesn't like the expensive posh parties of the rich. I agree with her, they do judge a lot most of the time. I think my fake laugh was out of practice." I told Tommy.

"Oh, Ms.Wayne. It's nice to see you. I was wondering if you could spare a moment to talk about you father's business." A man, I have never met said to me. I nodded at him.

"Good afternoon." I greeted him.

"You were never one for business." Tommy whispered to me, making me held back a laugh.

"Now, that's is true." I told Tommy before turning to the man in front of me. "What might be your name sir?" I asked him.

"Richard Hemsworth.  It's a pleasure to me the next owner of the Wayne industries." Richard said to me.

"Oh, my well that I don't believe. I'm not the person for that kind of business. I majored in criminology and journalism, with a minor in law." I told the man.

"Yeah, she was always the one that was always in collage. Tommy Merlyn." Tommy told the man in front of me.

"Malcolm's Merlyn son. I met a few business man with your father. Are you two together? Because that will be amazing

I let out a laugh along with Tommy. "Oh, no. She is taken." Tommy said, linking arms with me.

"And he is as well. Just close friends from childhood." I added. The man nodded at me. "Oh, Tommy. I think I see Ms.Queen. We better go and talk to her." I told Tommy, using my fake innocence voice. He picked up my idea and waved the man goodbye.

We both quickly among the people. "Very nice scape idea." Tommy said to me. "Did he really think just thought that we were dating for business porposes?" Tommy asked me.

I nodded at him. "At least he didn't ask me out on a date saying that it's for my family's benefit." I told Tommy quietly.

Tommy let out a chuckle. "I hope you punched the guy's face when he said that." Tommy informed me. I laughed lightly, nodding at him.

"I did. I also kicked him where the sun doesn't shined and flipped him off. Somebody actually recorded and was viral on the internet. Since then every person called him a weakly man. My dad actually saw the video, and he did got a lot of criticism. The man of course filed a complain in court, and he got ignored. At the end you know what my dad said?" I told Tommy.

"Good job, like he always does when you deal with ignorant bastards who just want to get into your pants." Tommy told me.

I nodded at him. "Yep. He did." I replied proudly. I was tapped by the shoulder by an unknown woman.

"Ms.Wayne, so good to see you." The woman said to me before walking away.

Tommy looked at her over his shoulder. "Who was that?" Tommy asked me. I shrugged in confusion.

"Don't remember. Just smile and wave." I told Tommy. Tommy held back a laugh. I looked around the room, freezing on my place when I saw a woman with brown hair; that was covering her white one. I had seen her before in security cameras, and on Oliver's computer.

A loud voice, made me turn around to the stage. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Now, tonight's honoree needs very little introduction. It's neither his wealth nor his name that we celebrate here tonight. But it is his efforts at making Starling City a safer place to life. So please let me welcome, Starling City's humanitarian of the year, Malcolm Merlyn." The host said. Clapping was heard around the room.

I turned to look at Tommy. "He invited me to come here." Tommy said to me, his eyes glued on his father.

I looked around the room, spotting the woman talking causally to a various men across the room. I searched for my phone in mu purse. I opened, just to see a missed called from Ollie.

I called him, waiting for him to pick up the phone. "Clara. You okay?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm with Tommy." I told Oliver. "Tommy, I will be back just a second." I told Tommy before walking away from the crowd. "Ollie, they are here. The Triad. The woman with white hair is here with a lot of men. I guess they are are her backup." I told Oliver, calmly looking around the room.

"I'm on my way there. You got to get out of there." Oliver told me. I some a man come towards me.

I let out a fake laugh. "I love that idea for the wedding of Annie. Yeah, get the pink flowers. Oh, and remember to pick up also the bridesmaids dresses. Yeah, Carla. I will see you soon. Bye." I said to the phone before hanging up the call. I looked at the man that had stopped walking. "Ugh, girl trouble. Don't get involved in it. It's horrible. I'm planning a wedding, very stressful you know." I told the man before putting up a fake smile and walking back to Tommy. I linked arms with him.

"Who was it?" Tommy asked me.

"A friend." I told Tommy, returning my attention back to Malcolm.

"The true humanitarian in my family was my wife, Rebecca." Malcolm said, letting out a bitter laugh. "Many of you here knew her. She tirelessly devoted herself to helping those less fortunate in the Glades. I like to think that if the man who murdered her knew her, knew the work she did, knew the person that she was...he would have helped her to the car instead of stealing her purse and shooting her." Malcolm said. I felt Tommy's hold of my arm tighten. "The truth is that I haven't done enough for this city. My city. I failed it." Malcolm added. "But I promise you, I am not finished yet. I promise you that this city will be better for all of us. On that day, I will look at this beautiful award and feel that I have earned it. I thank you." He said before walking off the stage.

As on queue, the fire alarm went off. I looked around, just to see a few men stay behind. I watched as some of them quietly. I picked up my phone, sending a quick message to Oliver and Danny. The Triad is here. Quick. Call backup, I texted Danny.

I heard somebody yelled Tommy's name, causing me to look up. "Tommy, come with me." Malcolm said, taking

"Clara, I can't leave her." Tommy told his dad, taking a hold of me.

"Fine," Malcolm answered us, taking us up the stairs.

"There is an exit on the second floor. I wasn't going to leave you until you knew you were safe." Malcolm told his son. I followed them to the hall, just to push them to cover when I saw the machine guns. I raised my dress a little bit, taking off my gun from my holsters.

"You keep that on your thigh?" Tommy asked me in surprised. I looked out, just to hide my head back due to the bullets being shot at us.

I let out a relived sigh when I saw Oliver arrive through a window. "Go, somewhere safe. I will hold them off." Oliver told us.Malcolm led Tommy out, but I was not going to let Oliver alone. "Are you deaf?" Oliver asked me, shooting an arrow at one of the men.

"Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sounds of bullets being shot." I sarcastically told Oliver as I shot the last man.

"How did you get a gun?" Oliver asked me, coming out from his cover.

"I always have it with me. I'm a cop who has a lot of enemies. I always have on my thigh when I go to parties. You never know when you will need it." I told Oliver. A knife was thrown in the space between us. I sighed, looking at her.

"Go with Malcolm and Tommy. I got this." Oliver said to me. I sighed nodding at him.

"Fine." I told him, running the way that Malcolm and Tommy left. I took off my heels, running up the stairs to meet them. Tommy had stopped half way, thinking that I was still down. "Thanks for waiting. My hero." I joked, patting Tommy's shoulder.

"Where are we going?" Tommy asked his dad.

"Up." Malcolm answered.

"Who are those guys?" Tommy asked his dad.

"I don't know." Malcolm answered him.

"The Triad." I answered. "I saw the tatoo one of them had." I added, getting a weird look from both of them. "They are bad guys." I said to them both, running faster up the stairs

"They were trying to kill you."

"Yeah, it seems that way.

"And we are going up, with any of our guards. Dad! We need to get out of here." Tommy told his father, trying to pull him down the stairs, but Malcolm stopped him.

Malcolm took his son's face in his hands. "Tommy, take a deep breath and trust me. Upstairs in my office is a panic room." Malcolm told him. As we turned to the exit of the stairs, we were stopped by a pain of guns.

As an instict, Malcolm took out both of them quickly. He took the a hold of a gun that one of them had, and pointed the gun at the head. "Wait." Tommy said, but it was too late. Malcolm had pulled the trigger. "You killed him." Tommy said, frozen in his place. I stood next to him, hesitant to follow Malcolm. The way he had not hesitated to kill these men, made my stomach drop.

"Surely as he would have killed you." Malcolm told his son calmly. He opened the doors to his office, letting us in before locking the door. "Electromagnetic lock." Malcolm said to both of them.

"What is they cut the power?" Tommy asked him.

Malcolm shrugged. "This floor is on an entire separate grid." He stated, walking towards his son.

Tommy looked around the room, pointing at the windows. "The glass?" Tommy asked his father.

"Lexan, bulletproof. It's over." Malcolm said, making Tommy lean on the nearest table.

"How did you know how to do that?" Tommy asked his dad, looking him with cautious.

"What?" Malcolm asked, confused on what he was talking about. But I could see his eyes, he did not want to talk about it. The way he killed showed he was highly trained. He was trained by years. There is no way he could master those moves over night.

I kept quiet, taking a few steps away from Tommy and Malcolm. "Fight. Kill." Tommy said in a quiet voice.

I saw Malcolm pressed some code, right next to a painting he moved. The wall opened, and with that small chance, I got to see what was inside. I felt my lungs tighten, bot believing what I saw behind those walls. I was too surprised to see the small bomb colliding with the glass. I felt to the floor, groaning as the air was knocked out of me.

I felt the ringing in my ear worsen as I lifted myself off the floor. "Clara. Clara, are you okay?" Tommy asked me, helping me up. I nodded at him. As I stood up, I saw Malcolm getting shot at.

Tommy ran to his father's side, looking down at him. He opened his shirt, "Dad, I'm sorry." Tommy told his father.

"I'm okay. Tom." Malcolm said, putting a hand over his son's hand.

Tommy looked at me before looking back"You are bleeding. You are bleeding."

"I will be fine, Tom." Malcolm said, looking up to his son.

I looked up to the bleeding just above Malcolm's shoulder. "Put pressure on the wound. Hand me that belt of yours." I told Tommy, before standing up to look at something to stop the bleeding.

"Dad, dad, dad!" Tommy yelled as his eyes closed. I took off Malcolm's belt, and took off Tommy's jacket to use it to put pressure on the wound. I saw Tommy look over his shoulder, making me look up as well. "No! Stay back." Tommy said, taking the gun away from his father's waist. He turned around quickly, pointing it at Oliver.

Oliver raised his hands in the air. "I'm not here to hurt you or your father." Oliver said to Tommy.

I put pressure on Malcolm's wound while turning around to face Oliver. "Don't shoot him." I told Tommy, trying to push his gun down. "Please, don't." I told Tommy.

"I said stay back." Tommy yelled at him.

"Tommy, please." I begged him, my heart speeding up in the fear of Oliver being shot at.

Oliver knelt to the floor, picking up a bullet. He smelled it before turning to Tommy. "It's curare." Oliver spoke up, taking a step towards Tommy.

Tommy glared at him as he tighten his hold of the gun. "Don't come any closer." Tommy repeated.

"Your father has been poisoned. An assassin named Floyd Lawton laces his bullets with Curare. I have dealt with this before. We need to dilute the poison in his bloodstream." Oliver told Tommy, standing up from the floor.

"I said stay the hell back." Tommy yelled at him.

I sighed, getting tired of Tommy yelling at me. "Tommy!" I yelled at him before kicking the gun away from him. "Stop it." I snapped at him. Tommy looked at me in amazement.

Oliver stay where he was. "In three minutes he is paralyzed. In four minutes he suffocates. If you don't let me help you now, he is dead before anyone gets here!" Oliver told Tommy, raising his voice.

"Help, how?" Tommy snapped at him.

"Fresh blood buys him time to get to the hospital." Oliver informed us.

"Blood transfusion. We don't have the materials for it here." I told Oliver, turning back to try and stop the bleeding from Malcolm's wound.

Oliver walked closer to us. "It's the only way. He needs your blood. You are out of time. You have to make a decision right now." Oliver told Tommy.

Tommy glared at him as he stood up. "Why should I trust you?" He asked Oliver.

Oliver stopped in his track. He turned off his voice changer. "Because you always have." Oliver said, before slowly taking off his hood.

I sighed, looking at Oliver. "Oliver." Tommy said softly, not believing what he was seeing.

Oliver took off a first aid kit that was below Malcolm's desk. He knelt down beside me, looking at my face. "You okay?" He asked me. I nodded at him. He did not seemed to believing. "Malcolm is the only one bleeding." Oliver said, touching the side of my face. I flinched, hissing in pain. "Sorry." He mumbled, getting everything ready for the transfusion. "Okay, ready?" Oliver asked Tommy.

"Do it." Tommy told him, flinching when the needle pierced his skin.

"Come on, come on, come on." Oliver said, looking down at Malcolm.

Tommy kept his eyes on his father. I knew he had question, and was holding them back just for his father's sake. "You are the Vigilante. Why?" Tommy asked Oliver.

Oliver looked at Tommy. "Later. He still needs medical attention to fully clean out his system, do you understand?" Oliver told Tommy. Oliver turned to look at me. "Make sure you get medical attention as well. You have a cut in the your face." Oliver said softly to me.

Tommy looked up at Oliver. "Thank you." He said to him.

"You better get going. The police will be here soon." I told Oliver. He kissed my forehead before leaving me and Tommy.

Tommy looked up to me. "You knew?" Tommy asked me. I nodded quietly at him. I could see the betrayed eyes he was wearing, and it broke my heart.

"He was trying to protect you." I told him quietly as I saw the police break the door.

I sighed, tightening my hold of Tommy's jacket that was on top of my shoulders. We saw the detective Lance approach us. He turned to Tommy. "What did the hood said to you?" He asked him. I sighed, looking at Tommy with pleading eyes.

"Nothing." Tommy said without hesitation

Lance scoffed at him. "You let a homicial maniac talk you into a home made transfusion instead of calling the paramedics." Lance told Tommy.

"My father's life was at stake." Tommy snapped at him.

Lance let out a sarcastic laugh. "So, first the Hood rescues you and Queen from those kinappers. Now, he saves your old man. But he is taking down every other one percenter out there. Is this guy a friend of yours, Merlyn?" Lance asked Tommy.

Tommy looked at Lance in the eyes. "I don't know who the hell he is." He said, shaking his head. Tommy put an arm my around my shoulder, motioning for me to keep walking.

I looked at him silently. "Thank you." I told him softly. Tommy looked at me in confusion. "For keeping Ollie's secret, and for not leaving me behind when they were attacking you." I told Tommy.

I sat quietly down on the hospital chair. Aidan had come to check I was, but I told him to go home and rest as I kept Tommy company. He understood.

A small tap on my head caused me to look up. I smiled at the sigh of Oliver in front of me. I stood up and hugged him. When he pulled away, he handed me a cup of coffee. "I thought you might needed it. I also bought you some chocolate." Oliver told me. I sat down, letting him handle

"My dad is going to be okay, thanks to you." Tommy said to Oliver without looking at him. "I once asked you what happened to you out on that island. You said 'a lot'. That doesn't quite cover it." Tommy added. He sighed before continuing. "I saw you kill those guys who kinapped us when you first got back, didn't I?" Tommy asked Oliver.

"I...I know you have a lot of questions." Oliver said to him quietly, knowing that Tommy felt betrayed.

"Yeah, but for now just the one." Tommy told Oliver before turning to face him. "Were you ever going to tell me?" Tommy asked Oliver.

Oliver hesitated before answering. "No." He answered. Tommy did not said anything else. Instead, he walked away from Oliver. Oliver sighed, putting his hands on his pockets.

I took his hand in mine, making him look down. "Just give some time. He just got time to think. It's okay." I told Oliver. He took a seat next to me. "Everything will be okay." I told him, putting my coffee down on the floor. I wrapped my arms around him, knowing he needed support.
