The Contest(Prologue)

It was my birthday, but I wasn't celebrating. Every age I turned came with a new problem and that is not something to celebrated. Plus, no one on Earth other than myself even knows it's my birthday today. Congratulations self you were born today, good for you. I had just woke up, it's a Saturday so I had stayed up late last night and slept in all morning. It was already noon. I took out my laptop and searched my favorite thing in the world. 5sos. After listening to a few songs I came upon a video labeled Tour Singing Contest. I clicked it. "Hello we are 5Seconds of Summer" the boys said in sync. I smiled. "We are having a singing contest for our next tour" Ashton announced. "Because we are too pour to pay for an opening act" Michael blurted. I giggled. Calum smacked his arm. "No! Because we know there are lot of talented singers out there and we wanted to try sand help one of your dreams come true" he said. "Just send us a cover of you singing and we will choose a winner to come on tour and open for us for a year" Luke said. The video was soon over. I immediately took out my camera and got my acoustic guitar and sat in my desk chair. I set up the camera on its stand and positioned my self right with the guitar. I pressed record and smiled at the camera. "Hey 5sos! My name is Kathrine Walker and this is my cover for the Tour Singing Contest. I will be doing I miss you by Blink-182." I said. I began strumming on my guitar and started to sing. "Hello there. The angel from my nightmare, the shadow in the background of the room. The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley, we can live like Jack and Sally if we want. Where you can always find me, we'll have Halloween on Christmas and in the night we'll wish this never ends. Wish this never ends. "I sang. I strummed some more before it was time to sing again. "I miss you I miss you....I miss you I miss you "I whisper sang before strumming a little more. "Where are you, and I'm so sorry! I cannot sleep, I cannot dream tonight. I need somebody and always, this sick strange darkness comes creeping on so haunting every time. And as I stated I counted, the webs of all the spiders catching things and eating there insides. Like indecision to call you, and hear your voice of treason. Will you come home and stop this pain tonight? Stop this pain tonight." I sang strumming faster and getting louder. "Don't waste your time on me your already the voice inside my head. I miss you I miss you. Don't waste your time on me your already the voice inside my head. I miss you I miss you. I miss you I miss you. " I sang loudly. I strummed again before singing quieter. " Dint waste your time on me your already the voice inside my head " I sand quietly slowing down my singing. I then quickened it again. "Don't waist your time on me your already the voice inside my head. I miss you I miss you" I sang 4 more times before stopping. I smiled and waved at the camera before stopping the recording. I sent it to @5SecondsofSummer and left my room.
