You walk out to his shiny black car, and he opens your door for you. He walks around to his side and starts the car.
"So, where are we going?" you ask him.
"A special place....McDonalds." He says to you.
You look at him with a "seriously??" look on your face.
He laughs at your expression then says, "Yeah totally."
You start laughing and say "You're kidding right?"
"No, I'm not kidding. We're going to McDonalds."
"Fine, don't tell me." You say as you cross your arms.
"I just told you! We're going to McDonalds." He says with a big grin on his face.
"Uh huh." You say as you look out the window.
A few minutes pass by and he says "Okay, you got me. We aren't going to McDonalds, but we are going to a special place."
"And that is....?" You ask him.
"T.G.I. Friday's, since we moved our date from Friday to today." He says and winks at you.
"Hahaaaa you're funny!" You say to him.
"I know" he answers back.
You pull into T.G.I. Friday's and walk into the restaurant. The waitress sat you down at a booth and hands you the menus.
"What would you like to drink?" She asks you.
"Uhm, I'll just take a water." You say to her.
She looks at Rocky, and waits for his answer.
"I'll take a virgin margarita."
You look at him, like what the heck...?
The waitress leaves to go get your drinks.
You're still staring at him when he says "What? I can't have a virgin margarita?"
"Virgin?"
"Yes. I don't drink... usually."
"I never asked you how old you were.... How old are you?"
"Oh, yeah that would have been a good thing to mention... Uhm, I'm 21. How old are you Y/N?"
"I am 19. So obviously I can't drink anyway." you say to him.
"Oh okay, cool. I've always liked younger women." He says with a wink.
"Only two years idiot!" You say as you take his hand and laugh.
He holds on tight to your right hand, and then takes hold of your left.
"Thanks for going out with me tonight." He says
"Dude, there's no way I'd turn you down. You're amazing." You tell him.
He blushes slightly, but then looks down. "You have noooo idea.... but I think YOU are the amazing one."
You stare deeply into each other's eyes and the waitress comes back with your drinks. She sets them down on the table next to you guys, and then comments, "Are you guys on a date?"
You look up at her and smile. He says "Yeah, we are."
"You two look really adorable together." the waitress said. "How long have you guys been together for?"
You and Rocky look at each other and smile, "This is our first official date" He says to her.
"Well If I can do anything for you to make it extra special, just let me know." She said.
"Thanks!" You say to her.
"Okay, now what would you like to eat?"
"Um, i'll take a rib basket." Rocky says to her.
"Yeah i'll take that too," You say.
"If you both want ribs, we can do the bigger meal for just a little bit more money, and you can share. Do you want to do that?"
"Sure" you nod in agreement.
"Okay, I'll be back soon with that! Have a lovely evening."
Rocky smiles at her as she walks away.
"She was super nice." You say.
"She definitely deserves a bigger tip." He says.
I have never come across a guy like this before. He's everything perfection claims to be.
You gaze into his eyes, and say, "Rocky, I have to ask you for a favor."
"What's that darlin?" He says.
You giggle because he called you "darlin", "Um, I was wondering if you'll stay the night again. I don't think I'm ready to stay alone yet."
His eyes widen again in surprise, "Really? You want me to stay again? After the weirdness that went on this morning...?"
"Yes. But it was fun weirdness, and i literally couldn't stop thinking about you all day long.... Yeah sorry if it sounds weird." You explain to him.
"Totally! I was gonna suggest it... but then I thought that that'd be a little weird for me to invite myself over...." He says.
"Okay so it's settled. We're heading back to my place tonight. " You say with a grin.
"You have something.... planned? for tonight?" He says as he smirks and raises an eyebrow.
You look away from him and bite your lip... "No...."
"No?" Rocky says.
"Maybe... maybe not?" You say as you dart your eyes back to his.
He has a satisfied look on his face when you catch eye contact. "Okay, then maybe Ill have to find out... what you may or may not have planned." He says as he winks at you.
"Later, later. But for right now, let's just talk." You say and smile gently.
"Okay, so what's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?" He says.
"I like to sit inside and cuddle, and watch football."
"Football?! You watch football?" He asks
"Like I said, only on rainy days. I don't know why... I just do."
"What about hockey?" he asks.
"Hockey? I've actually never watched hockey..." You say.
"WHAT?! that is DEFINITELY going to have to change. Very quickly."
"Why? Do you like hockey?" You ask him.
"Duh!!!" He laughs, "I love hockey. I've played with my dad and my brothers since I was really young."
"Oh, how many siblings do you have?" You ask him.
"I have three brothers, and one sister. Riker, Ross, Ryland, and Rydel."
"They all start with R."
"No dip, Sherlock." He says as he laughs.
"Woah, sassy. Hold on. It's just different, I wouldn't have expected it." You say.
"Yeah, most people don't. We're super close."
"Can I meet them?" You ask.
"Someday, probably!" He answers.
The waitress comes up to your table and sets down the ribs. "Let me know if you two love birds need anything else." She says with a smile.
"Thanks!" I say as she walks away from our table.
"Let's dig. in." Rocky says.
"Okay, let's go." You say as you reach for one rib at the end.
You start eating the ribs, but then your hands get seriously messy. Well this is embarrassing.... you think as you grab your napkin. You wipe off your hands, and then look at him and start giggling.
"What? Is there something on my face?" He asks.
"Uhh, let me get that for you." You lean over the table and kiss some sauce off of the tip of his nose.
He got all tingly, but said, "Well that's embarrassing, but thanks" He says and smiles like a hyena.
"You're welcome." You say. "Do I have any on my face?"
"You have something right... there." he says as he points to your lips. "Lemme get that for you." He leans over the table and kisses you sweetly on the lips.
He pulls away and you smile, "there was nothing on my lips, was there?"
"Not even a little bit." He says as he settles back into his booth.
You finish up the ribs, and then push the plate to the side of the table. The waitress comes and picks it up, and asks "Would you like any dessert?"
"No thanks" Rocky answers her. She walks away and he says "I already got my dessert." He looks into your eyes and smiles again.
You giggle at his remark and then he asks for the bill.
You suggest that you pay the girl's tip, and he can pay for the meal, but he just pays for all of it. He said that you didn't need to pay anything.
You walk out to the car, and he opens your door again. You get in and lean your head back on the head rest. He gets into the car and drives off.
"I had a really great time tonight" You say to him.
"I had a lot of fun" He says as he reaches over and holds your hand.
