Title: Bravery's Heart
Since birth..I have had this defect a true disability..
That I grew to know was something I couldn't defeat with a sword.
Or cleverly chosen words..
It was an enemy of sorts, and I couldn't surpass it.
That night as I watched ember skies the rain cried for me...
That thunder was a scream I never dared to utter..
I was a watcher only to see what I couldn't have or be.
Soon nightfall would appear as
the moon was cast in the ever glow of the sun..
I was a ghost hollow and yet I slumbered breathed...a dead walker.
My name was simple but it was among those given more than one name...
I was corrupted, damaged goods that no one wanted a part of...
A plague that none cared for a dyeing breed of man...
One who was easily forgotten for another who was stronger..better
My tower was build up to hide the diseased being I was...
Sleep over token nights became days and mornings become the afternoons..
A state of living and losing insanity for the monster inside called and chanted..
Pledging my mind with its empty promise
that I could be saved if I gave in to its demand..
But I was a brought down to the level of dirt.
I was the nothing to be had, the loveless the unwanted...
I had something tangible though it was daybreak
for it had both the sun and the moon inside its evolution of being.
Collisional to become the setting of both..fused together as a one, whole.
I served those who asked and I was, given little in the return.
It didn't matter to them but What I wanted desired my
request in turn could never be made.
I looked toward all the lights into the sky and those granted wishes made.
But sadly my wish implanted into a fallen star that only got crushed in.
Its aftermath the landing burning the dream whispered deferred..
Its a dieing star, and I am nothing but useless, a nobody.
Soon I too would be a beast uncivilized..wicked boned
So I toke action locked myself away,
building the walls higher and the tower soon grow into a fortress.
The only thing I could control was my sleep.
My world was colorless the surface covered veiled from the world.
In a black blanket hiding the mysterious of me being, existing.
I was blind to a array of rainbows..for sight was lost at early age.
I built up a moat and hide away for my stoic mind is fighting on..
The caged beast claws trying and failing to kill my human's will the spirit.
The one I've got its a strong warrior raging..
But I am lost at the crossroad for I no longer I'm needed and
I have turned to old piles of papers unimportant..as the old words written.
My brothers grew to pertain they're missing pieces they're souls mended and unbroken..
The puzzles finished only to be seen as beautiful but I wanted mine too.
I stalked the world wandering till my legs gave way I gave in...
Finding the tower and I were both of a stone statue
interfacing for the first time.
The home was abandoned as I so we lived together...
A tower and its owner,
a cage and its bird, we were both earthbound inhabited.
The outside world never seeming to notice...
but there was someone who would look to find..
She walked toward the path of blood marks..
A true journey a missionary on her target..
A adventure underway.
She was a merchant traveler finding
treasures worth the trouble gaining experience.
She had something not easy to spot,
but it was something the man needed wanted..
Greedy she never used it as her own
for she knew she never would see it as a advantage.
More than anything she saw it as something that slowed her down
Forcing her to lose concentration on tasks at hand
It made her lack what she knew where her weapons to destroy the monsters..
Askew she never let it take her, for she never let it in.
She would always be the one to attack with fair chances for the other party..
Her enemies would fall and with dignity she slaughtered them with ease..
Never using the evil from within unleashing nothing but her skills.
She was a savior on a rescue mission to save
the unamended and forgotten a prince...
So with the scent of a dog she followed.
Perfume Filling her as the path uncharted was there.
Her black eye bold she went inside the castle..
A kingdom built by the lonely..
A cloaked figure in shadows foretold in the towns..passing.
The wonderment in her, waiting to map out the unknown location.
But she knew that his room was there and as her unicorn spirit shined through..
A craving so strong infuriated the room as she walked in the territory..
The lifework laid to show the world is a ticking mind..but this man was..
Destroyed internally a seeker lost in search of his prey..
She knew then as she crumbled the portraits of a fantasy..
Breaking down the walls and shattering the
hallowed out illusions played among the drawings.
Inside darkness crept as he slumbered
She toke heed but of what warning?
She disbanded his curse with swift strikes..
Soon she felt him wake, a peace lover..
He walked toward her and he knew that he had been cured.
He was finally repaid the debts for she gave freedom..
As the strings were cut unwinding.
She pressed inward where a bear wound was a hole..rotted
In her kindness she gave what others knew not..
The real thing he wanted to possession as his own..
A red pumping beating like a butterflies wings, when in take off.
She pressured and soon he had the bravery of her heart.
The dark met the light and it formed..
the daybreak of those given gifts..
Who Were meant to just be..............
