Crystal dies in lucien's arms.
Crystals POV
Me and Lucien were going to say a speech in front of all the faes today. It is our duty as future king and queen of all the faes. Jareth said its best to let them know you really early.
We stood up in front of everyone and Lucien started to speak.
"Thank you all for been here today. I am Lucien and this is my wonderful wife crystal. We are here to inform you that we are the future rulers of the underground." Lucien says.
"It is our hono....." I start to speak but stop when I feel something sharp in my stomach. I look down and see some sort of dagger. I pull it out and the sound of it hitting the floor echoes through my ears.
I press my hand to my stomach and see that there is a lot of blood. I gag when I taste metal in my mouth. Then I start to feel drowsy and lose my balance.
"Crystal?!" Lucien shouts worried.
I look at him and fall, but before my body harshly hits the ground, he catches me in his arms and gently lays me down, cradling my body into his. He clings onto my as I cling onto life for as long as I can.
"Father! Father!" He shouts and Jareth rushes over. He looks at me and sadly sighs.
"Save her!" Lucien begs while looking into my eyes with terror. He was scared and that hurts me.
"I cannot she is human and there is poison on that blade. I can sense it." Jareth sadly informs him. "There is nothing we can do." Jareth said and looked at me with sorrowful eyes.
"No. No. No. It can't be. Save her. She can't die!" Lucien orders his voice whimpering at the end.
"I am sorry Lucien. Say your goodbyes." Jareth says. He walks away giving us some privacy.
I let out a sob when I see Lucien crying. I hate to see him so vulnerable. Seeing him like this causes me more pain that the poison running through my veins, killing me quick.
"You'll be fine." I say to him trying to comfort him. "You're my str strong Lucien."
"No. Crystal. Don't go. Don't. I need you. I need you to help me. We need to rule the underground together." Lucien says. "I need you with me." He whispers.
"You Lucien, are an amazing, talented man who is capable of ruling it by himself. Do you remember when we first met and you told me that you would rule while I take up a hobby." I said and we both slightly laughed.
"Lucien. I lo- love you so so much. We will always be together. Always. I just won't be there physically with you. I promise you, that every time you are ruling or in need of help. I will be there cheering you on, probably saying snide remarks and laughing. But I will be there." I promise him and he smiles through his tears.
"I love you too much crystal. You can't leave me." He says.
"I don't think I have a choice." I say my voice slightly breaking and he sobs and pulls me closer so our faces are inches apart.
My breathing starts to get lighter and my eyes are starting to close. I feel so weak, but I have to be strong for Lucien in our last moments.
"Will you miss me?" I weakly ask him smirking slightly to show him I wasn't scared.
"Always." He says. I smi-

Third person.
Even though everything was silent. Everything seemed to stop. That's when Jareth knew she was gone. Lucien's worst fear has always been losing someone he loved. That's why he had never been with anyone until Crystal.
Jareth walked back over to his son. He saw him crying, holding crystals limp body in arms. This was going to be hard for the both of them. Jareth was going to make the person who done this suffer in apocalyptic ways.
He walked over and put his hand on his sons shoulder. He to knew how it felt to lose the one you love. He knew that they needed time to heal not words of others who do not understand.
"We will bury her in the gardens next to your mother." Jareth tells him and Lucien cries harder.
--------------------
The funeral was painfully beautiful. Crystal was laid on a bed of grass and flowers. Her hair was curled and she wore the yellow dress from her and Lucien's first ball. Her lips were painted red and she was wearing her engagement ring.
They did as Jareth promised and buried her right next to Lucien mother. Father and sons love buried together.
Jareth stood at the back holding his grand daughter in his arms. Destiny had fell asleep from exhaustion. She had been crying all night. Kevin was perched on the fountain whining for his owner. All the goblins came and cried for the loss of their friend and queen. Sarah Williams was there with her friends from the labyrinth mourning her daughter.
Lucien stood near crystal looking empty. He was wearing a black suit and was holding some flowers. His eyes were dark like the light died along with his lover.
He placed a gentle kiss on crystals forehead and placed the flowers in her hands. He looked at her like he was reliving everyday with her before turning away.
He stayed when everyone left and embraced the loneliness. Until he felt someone's presence. Sarah stood next to him and they both stood in deafening silence watching the flowers grow over the fresh grass.
---------------------
In what was the room that Lucien and crystal once shared, there is a painting of crystal smiling at the stars, sitting on the water fountain in the garden. Lucien wears her wedding ring around his neck and the crystal hangs above his heart.
There was a statue built of her in the garden. She is wearing her wedding dress and laughing. Lucien visits it everyday. He just sits there in a deep thought. Probably reminiscing about the things he and crystal done in the short time they got to spend together.
When Lucien is doing his kingly duties, he swears he can hear crystals soft giggles and he draws comfort knowing that she will be with him forever. Even if it sometimes hurts when he is battling in the gardens with his friends and there is no one cheering him on. Or when he dines and wakes up alone.
He would do anything in the world to see her one last time. To see her bright blue eyes or her cheeky smile. A glimpse of her in a vapoured mirror or a shadow out the corner of his eyes. He misses her.
Life is cruel. It tears away people unexpectedly without any warning. Not giving you a chance to do all the things you had wanted to do together. Even sometimes leaving you no time for one final goodbye. Treasure life and time before it is torn from you leaving you with nothing but memories and a feeling of emptiness.
That is the end of this story. I hope use all enjoyed it. Thanks.
