The streets were full of panic. People were rushing down the paths, children were crying and the roads were full of fleeing cars. It was chaos. Chaos, chaos, chaos.

I can't survive this. I can't. I'll just die if I stay and die if I leave. There are no choices, and now is no time to take action. Maybe I can just wait it out. I tried to think logically, and ensure I was making a sensible decision, but it was seemingly impossible when there was such a loud scene going on outside. I didn't even know much about this situation. I didn't know what the walking corpses were capable of, but I was soon to find out.

What should I do? I paced around my flat, on the verge of a panic attack as dozens of police cars flew past underneath my window. I looked around. If you come across one, you'll have to kill it. A blow to the head will do the trick. A blow to the head with what? Maybe knives would work? The one time the news channel was actually helpful, I listened to the advise. I found a baseball bat, a cricket bat, and two knives. They would be best kept close.

Food? Will I need it if this is the end of the world? Obviously. I frantically searched my cupboards, and found quite a few tins as that is all I have been living off. Fridge next. Some microwaveable meals and a left-over takeaway. I grabbed it all and spread it out onto the table. Water? I had a few bottles stored away in another cupboard. Three full, then I found two empty ones and filled them with tap water.

What now? First aid. There was a kit under the sink and I emptied it out next to the food. A few bandages, plasters, alcohol wipes and painkillers. Not much then. Everything was spread out across the table. Food, water, weapons and first aid. What am I supposed to do? Where do I go now? Should I stay here and risk a possible invasion, or try and survive in the middle of London, solo?

But my questions were left unanswered as I heard rowdy footsteps coming up the stairs. There were guns, people must be searching the flats. Were they killing the dead -- or the living?
