** This is for my bestie Alli-kins who begged me to write her a romance. Hope i can make you and my fans proud.**

Alex, aka Alexandria, sat on the work bench watching Jason work underneath his car. A drool worthy 1963 Corvette Sting Ray he and his father are restoring. She couldn't wait to take it for a spin. With that thought she snorted, very un-lady like. As if I could think of breathing on the steering wheel without him having kittens, .

"What's so funny, gorgeous?" Asked Jason, as he slid out from under the car.

"Just contemplating the astronomical odds of me driving this beauty," she answered with a cheeky grin.

"As. If." He announced before stretching out the kinks in his neck and shoulders.

And what broad shoulders, she thought with an inaudible sigh. Oh, sweet Jesus, the scrumptious six. Who thought six little muscles could look so good.

"You checking me out, Coleson?" He asked with a knowing smirk.

"Ugh, so wrong. You wish." She replied, calm and unaffected on the outside, inside her heart was racing like a wild stallion on an open plain.

For four years, she had hidden her feelings for this gorgeous man in front of her. And there was no question about it. At 19 on the cusp of 20, just a mere six months older then herself, he had lost any babyfat from his high school days that football hadn't worked off him. Constant workouts this summer had succeeded. All his hard work definitely paid off. Shaggy golden brown hair, 6'4, eyes of fresh cut emerald, strong jaw line, he was one of the most wanted males in school. His personality had him offers practically crawling on the floor to be with The Jason Mitchell. But he was too old fashioned for that to make a difference. The whole time save the first month he moved to town and last four months since the break-up, he was with Jenna. He wasn't the guy who had a different girl every week. He was the whole package. Looks, personality, but didn't allow it to get to his head. He would never look at me as more than one of the boys, she thought. She was about to sigh again when she realized he was talking.

"-you okay? You kind of spaced out on me a few minutes." He asked, concerned.

"Yea, sorry. Just thinking." she replied hastily.

"Well while you think, I'm going to jump in the shower. Unless... You want to join?" He teased her, smirking.

"Dream on, Cassanova," she chuckled. "I'm going to go call and see if everyone is still on for the movies tonight."

"Fine, be that way, Alex." he pouted.

"You'll survive." She promised with an eye roll, before socking him in the arm and going to his living room to call their crew.

"Woo-hoo, the partay has arrived!" Shouted Allison, as Alex and Jason pulled up.

Allison jumped from the bed of the truck, their other friend hopping out too. Blakely aka Blaze sped up to loop his arm around his girlfriend.

"Slow down, Al. We're all going to the same place," said Blaze with, rolling his eyes.

She knew it had only been three days but she was glad to see her friends again. They would all soon be off doing different things this summer, unlike previous years. Xander and Lia were heading to Denver, Colorado for a college convention, before checking out UCLA and other possible college they would like. Marcus and Karly were going on a five week cruise with Marcus' mom and future step-dad. Two weeks in will be the ceremony where Marcus is Man of Honor and Karly one of the brides maids. Lisa and Kasey, the twin terrors, were stuck baby sitting their seven and eleven year old brothers the next three weeks. Only herself, Jason, Jamie, and Tristan would be able to hang out for a while. Good thing in used to hanging with the guys so much or I would die of boredom, thought Alex.

"Twelve tickets to Fear Reigns." Said Jamie when they reached the ticket booth.

" Out of fifty, here's your change." Said the girl behind the glass partition. Taking back the two crisp ones and leaving the dimes, they made their way inside to get popcorn and soda.

"Nerd's Rope!" shouted a voice before chanting for it. Looking around to see what poor parent had to deal with a child that embarrassing, she was stunned at what she found.

"Tristan!" she grumbled, before dragging him away from the candy display.

"Let's go find decent seats, guys." She said over her shoulder before walking into the correct theatre and down the dim, barely lit hall ahead.

“That movie was absolutely horrible!” groaned Alex.

“Come on, weren’t you scared at that one part?” teased Jason.

“Oh, I don’t know, maybe the part when you nearly gripped his hand in two?” teased Xander.

Alex just growled and rolled her eyes.

“I have no idea what you are talking about.” She said in a dangerously angelic voice.

“The part where-” began Tristan, only to be socked in the arm.

“Man, Jase, why in the world did you teach her how to hit?” moaned Tristan, trying to rub some feeling back into his battered arm.

Jason laughed. “I didn’t. She already knew how, I just taught her how to make it hurt worse.”

“Thanks, I mean it.” He said sarcastically.

“Oh, don’t be such a prissy pants, I barely hit you!” teased Alex.

“Jump in a hole. Aren’t you supposed to be leaving?” he asked her.

“Yup.” Alex replied before walking off to jump in the van with the girls.

“Let’s get some snacks then go chill.” Said Karly, sprawled across everyone in the back row.

“Why? You know Al here has plenty of junk food at her mansion.” Laughed Lia.

“You’re right, let’s go!” said Karly enthusiastically.

“Girl, seeing your house never gets old.” Chuckled Casey as we pulled into the long winding drive.

“Thank god for my Daddy.” Alex said with a laugh. Her father was a highly successful singer/songwriter who also booked and managed bands throughout America. It was a very cushy desk job that’s for sure.

The house was three stories, set on 90 acres of land out in the country. There was a pool in the back, 60 foot long, 15 feet deep at the far end. There is also a pool house out back the size of a small house, even has a guest bedroom. A small cupboard holds the supplies while the rest is taken up by an electronic dart board, pool table, and ice hockey table. There are two flat screens on the left wall constantly tuned into some sport or another.

The house itself has ten bedrooms. Three are masters, the rest just guest rooms. Three in-suite bathrooms connected to the masters on each level and a fourth on the second floor. There is a kitchen, living room, dining room, entertainment room, and work out room.

In other words, Alex lives in the perfect house.

The girls make their way to the kitchen and grabbed armloads of junk, half of which they probably wouldn’t even touch, and carried it to the third floor master bedroom which was Alex’s.

After turning on some a current country station, they all gathered around on the bean bags and cushions situated around the floor.

“Now, before anyone else calls her on it, I would like to say,-”

“Busted!” shouted the girls and Kasey.

Alex fought down a blush but couldn’t completely keep her voice from giving her away when she asked, “What are ya’ll talking about?”

“Do not play coy with us.” Said Lia with a smirk. “You know dang good and well you have not been scared during a horror movie since you were, what, two?”

“The movie was scary, kind of.” She answered evasively, the whole time thinking ‘oh, crap.’

“Oh, so your grabbing his hand had absolutely nothing to do with the fact you’re still CRUSHING ON JASON?!” Shouted Karly is disbelief. “You told us you were over him, and there you go, ‘innocently’ holding his hand cause you’re scared.”

“No, I-” Alex began, to only be cut off once again.

“Admit it hun, you are still stuck on him.” Kasey said kindly.

Alex growled and buried her head in the pillow.

“Yes, okay it was intentional… Was I really that obvious?” she asked concerned.

Everyone was quick to reassure her no.

“Believe me, if he doesn’t already know by now, then he definitely never will. In some ways he is so smart and in others he is completely helpless.” Groaned Lia with a shake of her head.

“Yea, but Alex lurrrvveesss helpless guys.” Kasey teased with a wink, as Alex tossed a cushion at her head.

“Gah, you guy’s suck, you bunch of gossip mongers. Let’s put a flick on, I have apps to turn in early tomorrow. I don’t care how rich my parents are, I want to be able to earn my own money for things I need.” Explained Alex as she pulled on her pajama top.

“Yea, yea, we will let you get your sleep. Wake us up before you leave, we wanna come with tomorrow.” Lisa reminded Alex, before heading to separate rooms with the other girls.
