Draco slowly began to wake up, shaking. "W-W-Where am I..?"
"Draco, you're okay... You're in the hospital wing..." Harry whispered.
"H-Harry!" Draco tried to sit up but cried out in pain.
Madame Pomfrey held him down. "Stay down..."
Draco whimpered, shaking. "L-Let go!" He cried.
"Baby, stay down! Stay down, you'll hurt yourself." Harry chided.
Draco swatted her hands off him before breathing heavily, laying down.
Harry put a hand to Draco's collarbone, skimming over the stitched up Soul Tattoo.
Draco was shaking and crying. "N-No more..."
"Baby, who did this?" Harry asked softly.
"I-I never saw his face..." Draco cried.
"I'm so sorry..." Harry whispered, squeezing onto Draco's hand.
Draco was visibly shaking as he held the Gryffindor's hand.
"I'm here, baby. I'm so, so sorry." Harry said quietly.
"P-Please, never let it happen again..." He begged.
Harry winced. "I didn't mean to, I'm so sorry I let this happen."
"I-I was so scared." The blonde whispered.
"I'm so sorry." Harry sobbed.
Draco sniffled, closing his eyes.
"I'll find the motherfucker that did this." Harry said.
Draco shook his head. "He'll hurt you too..."
Harry rolled his eyes. "It's worth it if it means you won't get hurt more."
Draco pulled Harry down to kiss him.
Harry kissed back, moaning slightly.
Draco smiled a bit. "I love you, Harry..."
"I love you too, Draco." Harry said back, smiling.
"I'm tired..." The blonde sighed quietly.
"Get some sleep, you need it baby." Harry murmured.
Draco nodded, closing his eyes.
Harry played with Draco's hair, eyes feeling heavy with sleep.
Draco fell asleep quickly. He woke up in the middle of the night, breathing heavy and sweating.
Harry was still awake, and immediately rushed closer. "Draco? What's wrong?"
"I-I just.... A nightmare..." Draco whispered.
"What happened?" Harry asked, frowning and holding tightly onto Draco's hand.
"The man..." Draco trailed off.
"Oh, baby... I'll protect you, okay?" Harry muttered, smiling softly.
Draco nodded, hugging him close.
"What did he do to you in the dream?" Harry asked quietly.
Draco shook his head. "No, no..."
Harry quickly hugged him to his chest. "Hey, calm down... I got you."
"P-Please don't make me tell you..." Draco cried softly.
"Hey, Draco... I won't make you do anything you don't want..." Harry cooed, trying to calm the hysterical boy.
Draco cuddled into his chest, closing his eyes.
"I just know from experience it's not good to hold stuff back." The brunette muttered.
Draco nodded. "I'll tell you in the morning..."
Harry nodded. "Do you want to try and sleep again?" He asked quietly, stroking a hand through Draco's hair.
Draco nodded. "Yes, please..."
Harry smiled softly, reaching to the bedside table and giving Draco a potion.
Draco slowly drank it.
It was a potion for dreamless sleep, and it instantly knocked Draco out.
Draco slept wonderfully until about ten o'clock the next morning, when he woke up.
Harry was still awake, staring at the ceiling. At some point during the night he had climbed into the bed with Draco.
"Hey..." Draco blinked his eyes open.
"Hey there..." Harry whispered.
Draco yawned, slowly sitting up and groaning.
"How was your sleep?" Harry said, still playing with the blonde strands of hair.
"It was okay." Draco sighed.
"Do you feel up to telling me what happened?" Harry asked softly.
Draco bit his lip. "I don't wanna talk about it..."
"Draco, please... It'll help if you do." Harry said, frowning.
The blonde shook his head. "No."
"Draco, you promised..." Harry said, concern on his face.
"I don't want to think about it!" Draco said.
"Hey, look at me." Harry said, turning himself so he was facing the blonde, cradling his face. "If you don't want to tell me, I can just look for myself."
"I... Okay..." Draco sighed.
Harry said the incantation, seeing clearly into Draco's mind. He saw the mysterious hooded figure, and saw the torture Draco had endured.
Harry saw Draco with blood pouring down his chest, and he could 'feel' the pain he was in as well.
"Oh, Draco... I'm so sorry." Harry said quietly.
Draco hugged him tightly.
Harry hugged back, kissing all over Draco's face.
"I love you." Draco said softly.
"I love you so much." Harry whispered.
Draco smiled. "I-I'm glad I have you."
"You'll never lose me either." Harry said with a light smile and a kiss to Draco's neck.
"Good..." Draco smiled, cuddling him.
Harry kissed the top of Draco's head softly. "You're beautiful, did you know that?"
Draco blushed lightly. "I'm not..."
"So beautiful." Harry replied.
The blonde kissed him softly. "So are you."
Harry kissed back with a small sigh. He put a hesitant hand on Draco's collarbone.
Draco shuddered, gripping Harry's side and closing his eyes. "It's cold." He whispered.
"Cold?" Harry questioned, looking confused.
Draco nodded. "M-My entire body feels cold, or numb..."
"I'm s-sorry..." Harry whispered, retracting his hand.
Draco let out a breath as he warmed up again.
"Who hates the idea of us being together so much?" Harry asked, frowning.
"I wish I knew." Draco murmured.
"Why the hell did they disguise as Ron and Pansy to hurt us?" Harry thought. "It's not like we saw their faces after the Polyjuice wore off..."
"I don't know, Harry." Draco held his hands. "It has to be someone we know..."
Harry frowned at the idea. "I don't know anyone like that..."
"It couldn't be... No..." Draco shook his head, staring at the bed.
"Who?" Harry asked, seeing a thought on Draco's face.
"My father..." Draco looked up at Harry.
"Oh, Draco..." Harry let out, wanting to reach for him but remembering what happened when he touched the blonde.
"You don't think..." Draco's eyes filled with tears. "He wouldn't do that, right? I-I'm his son, he wouldn't do that..."
"I... I don't know." Harry said, frowning.
"I... I have to go find him. I have to talk to him." Draco said, standing up.
"You get your ass back in that bed." Harry snapped quickly.
"No, Harry, I'm fine." Draco said.
"You most certainly are not." Harry said, grabbing Draco's arm on instinct.
Draco pulled away. "Harry, I'm going."
"And if you're going, I'm going." Harry stated.
"I... Okay." Draco sighed.
Harry walked over to a fireplace. "This is the Floo for this room..."
"I don't need to use that." The blonde sighed.
"You aren't Apparating." Harry stated.
"No, I'm not. Voldemort may be dead, but I still have his mark." Draco said. "I can travel the way all Death Eaters do."
"Draco..." Harry said warily.
"It's okay." Draco said. "I can take you with me." He said, holding out his hand.
Harry latched on, swallowing thickly.
Draco ran with him, jumping out the window before transforming into the Death Eater's black cloud.
