"A date to the fair?" Chloe asked, raising her eyebrows. Ricky stared at her, his hands in the pockets of his coat and nodded, a shy smile forming on his face. "I guess we need to get to know each other a little bit more, don't you think so?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "I mean-" He stuttered, "we went from not knowing each other at all, to like fake-dating..." He explained, "and I just want to become like, friends with you so that we can still hang out after that our plan has worked." He said. "You think you won't be able to miss me after this?" Chloe giggled, putting a strain of hair behind her ear. Ricky got closer to Chloe and put her chin up, staring directly into her eyes. "Of course not" He whispered, "you need to accept the fact that you asked me for help, so now you're stuck with me" He winked. Their faces were never this close before, and it made Chloe's heart skip a beat and the heat ran to her cheeks when he did so.
She recognizes these kind of feelings, but the thing is... She doesn't want to feel them at all. It's all a plan, they've become friends. Just friends. Nothing more than friends. Just friends who can use each other for their own profit. Just friends. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I need to be honest with you," Chloe sighed, rolling her eyes, "I might of see you as one of my best friends at the moment. But don't let this get into your head because I know how big of an ass you can be" She giggled. "An ass?" Ricky asked shocked, faking a hurt facial- expression. He wrapped his arms around the petite blonde and carried her up, throwing her over his shoulder. "Ricky!" She squealed, uncontrollable laughs escaping her lips, "put me down! Otherwise I say no" She threatened. Ricky's eyes widened and a smile formed on his face by hearing this, and he put Chloe down immediately, putting his hands on her shoulders. "So that's a yes?" He asked, his eyes sparkling with hope. "Only if you're going to shoot a bear for me." She said, crossing her arms and putting her weight on one leg. "Uh- oh, Miss. Lukasiak is going to give me- her lovely boyfriend- a requirement, before she'll go on a date with me?" He asked, raising his eyebrows, and a smirk appearing on his face. "How cocky of you." He laughed. "Correction; fake- boyfriend." She said, her golden locks bouncing up and down while laughing. "Of course, my bad..." Ricky said, shaking his head, "let me ask my question again..." He said, turning around.
He took a deep breath, and when he faced Chloe again, he noticed how she stared at him in puzzlement. "Chloe Elizabeth Lukasiak," Ricky smiled, reaching for her hand, "will you, my precious fake- girlfriend, go on a fake- date, with your fake- boyfriend who you claim to be a jerk, to celebrate our fake- relationship but real friendship?" He asked. Chloe giggled and nodded, biting the inside of her cheeks. "I'd love to go on a date with you, Ricky." She said, staring at their laced hands, then at him in the eyes. 'I'd love to be with you all the time'
She thinks it, she doesn't say it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
