Getting off the bus, I smiled as my eyes laid on the beautiful apartment. Rolling my luggage, I went up the stairs and knocked on the door waiting for an answer.
"Okay, Jennie you got this. Just be normal and act cool." I said to myself as I took a deep breath only for the door to be swung open. Looking at the doorway, I smiled as a girl came to the door.
"You must be Jennie, I'm Mina." The girl said as she invited me in. Rolling my luggage into the house, I looked around and it was perfect, just like I imagined.
"I hope you like it, I try to make sure it's always nice. Oh, and that's my boyfriend Chanyeol." She said as she pointed to the guy sitting on the couch. Nodding, I smiled and looked back over to Mina.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Let me go get your key." Mina said as she left and went into the back. Sighing, I walked around the living room looking at everything. Turning around, I was greeted by Chanyeol standing close to my face.
"Oh, hi." I said as I backed away a bit. Okay, this guy obviously doesn't understand personal space.
"You know, you're pretty cute. I might have to come around here more often." He said as he moved closer to her again, causing her to back up once more.
"Thanks for the compliment, but I think you should focus more on your girlfriend." I said as I made a face at him. Seriously, who does he think he is?
"I mean, it could be our secret." Chanyeol said as he pulled her close into a hug. My eyes went wide as I looked at how close he was to my face. I couldn't think straight, but this guy is definitely not good for me.
"What the hell?" A voice from behind us said. "What is wrong with you?" Chanyeol said as he pushed me away and went over to Mina's side.
"What? Me? No no no, I didn't do anything." I said as I looked at them both. I can't believe he would do that and try and turn this on me.
"Oh really? But I just saw you all over him." Mina said with her arms crossed. Okay, this is not I figured my first time here would go.
"No, Mina he was hitting on me." I said as I tried to explain myself, but she wasn't listening.
"Look, I thought this would be cool and all but I'm not gonna have some girl who can't keep her hands to herself living with me. I'm sorry, but you have to go." Mina said as she went to the front door and opened it for me.
"No please, I have no where else to go." I said as I begged her to stay. "No, get out." She said which made me sigh.
Taking my luggage, I rolled it out of the house and looked back hoping she would change her mind, but instead my face was just met with a slamming door.
"That did not just happen." I said to myself as I went down the stairs and looked around. I had no where to go, no money, and it's cold. Honestly, I need a miracle right now.
Rolling my luggage, I stumbled a little as I looked back to see one of the wheels of my luggage bag fall out. "This is not a miracle." I yelled at the sky and took a deep breath.
Picking up the bag, I continued to walk and passed a small dog. "Aw, a cute little dog." I said as I reached down to pet it, but it barked at me. "Okay sorry." I said as I walked past it, but it kept eyeing me.
"Nice doggy, please don't start. At least, not today." I said as I looked at it, but started to run when it chased me.
"This day sucks!" I yelled as I ran from the dog. Turning a corner I ran into a figure and fell on the floor.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." A male voice said as he held his hand out for her. Taking his hand, I stood up sighed. "Thanks."
"No problem, but why are you such in a rush?" He asked. Looking up at his face, I smiled. Maybe this is my miracle, because he is cute.
"Oh, um I was being chased by a dog." I said kind of embarrassed to be telling him this. "Oh, yeah some dogs can be pretty scary." He said causing me to laugh.
"Um, I'm Youngjae by the way." He said to me as he held his hand out. Shaking his hand I smiled. "I'm Jennie."
"So, this dog. Was it really that bad?" He asked while laughing.
"Yeah, but that's the least of my worries. This day can not get any worse." I said as I shook my head. Feeling a drop on my head, I looked up only to feel the cold rain start hitting against my face.
"You have got to be kidding me?" I said as I looked down and picked up my luggage.
"Here come with me." He said as he took my hand and started running. Following him, he took me to this apartment and let me inside. I didn't even have time to think about whether I should be following him or not, but hey this day is already bad enough.
"Here." Youngjae said as he handed me a towel. Taking it, I wiped my face off and wrapped it around me.
"You can stay here until the rain passes, or until you have a ride." He said. "Yeah, I'll stay until the rain passes, because I'm never gonna get that ride." I said which caused him to look at me confused.
"How come?" He said as he tilted his head, before I could response he looked around. "It smells like something is burning. The food!" Youngjae shouted as he ran into the kitchen.
Laughing, I stood in the door way, not comfortable enough to go anywhere else.
Hearing a loud laughter I jumped a bit, as I saw two guys come from the hallway. One was talking to the other guy while laughing, while the other wasn't even listening.
"Woah woah woah, Mark do you see that girl standing there too?" The boy asked as he came closer to me. Poking my shoulder, I swatted his finger away.
"Oh, you're real." He said as he smiled and started to laugh. "Hey leave her alone, she's having a pretty bad day." Youngjae shouted from the kitchen.
"I'm just talking to her!" He yelled back. "I'm Jackson by the way, and this is Mark." He said as he pointed to Mark who was on phone and not listening. He just went over to the couch and sit down.
"He's a bit grumpy so don't mind him. What's your name?" Jackson asked as he smiled, I couldn't help but smile back at him.
"I'm Jennie." I said for the third time today. Nodding, he sat down next to the guy only for more people to come out from the back.
"No fair you cheated!" A tall boy shouted at the smaller one. "No I didn't you just can't play that good." He shouted back.
"Enough arguing you two." Another boy said as he came in between them. "Look a pretty girl." The small one said.
"Oh yeah, that's Jennie." Jackson said as he joined the conversation. "Well I'm Bambam, that's Yugyeom, and Jinyoung. As you can see, I'm the coolest one out of all of us." He said which caused Yugyeom to hit him in the back of the head.
Laughing, I shook my head. I have no idea why there are so many guys here. What if this is a sorority, or a clan. Oh my gosh, it's probably a clan. I have to get out of here. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of another voice coming from the hall.
Out came a guy with a towel wrapped around his waist. "I told you guys stop moving the shampoo, I can't find it." He said which caused everyone's eyes to fall on him.
"Actually, I think I just remembered where it was." He said as he ran back into the hall, following the sound of a door being slammed.
"Oh JB, first time we have a new girl here and he's half naked." Bambam said as he shook his head.
"Foods ready!" Youngjae said which caused all the boys to quickly run to the table. "Jennie if you want to join for dinner, that's okay." He said as he looked at me.
"No, I'm not hungry." I said as I waved him off. My lie became noticed as the sound of my stomach grumbling filled the room. Hearing snickering in the corner, I looked to see Jackson laughing.
"You know, maybe I will eat something." I said as I went over to the table and sat down.
Hearing footsteps, I looked back to see Jb come to the table and sit down next to me. Looking at each other we gave each other a small smile and looked back the table.
"So Jennie, Youngjae said you were having a bad day. What happened?" Bambam asked as he looked at me.
"Well first, I went to the place I was suppose to be staying and the owners boyfriend hit on me and she kicked me out because she thought I liked him. Then my luggage wheel broke off, and I got chased by this dog." Jennie said as she explained and took a deep breath. Looked around the table she saw everyone staring at her with a shocked look.
"How big was the dog?" Bambam asked. "It was tiny.. but it was so sc-." I was cut off by the sound of a dog barking causing me to jump. Looking behind me, I saw a small white dog on the floor.
"That's just coco, don't worry she's nice." Youngjae said laughing, as he called her over to him.
"But that girl really kicked you out?" Youngjae asked causing me to nod. "And you have no where else to go?"
"No I was suppose to be staying there for the start of collage." I said then looked down. I didn't know what I was gonna do, maybe I would have to go back home and start somewhere else.
"How about this, you can stay here but you would need to help out around here." Youngjae said as he looked at her. "No, I couldn't. I don't want to be a bother here."
"You wouldn't, it seems like everyone likes you here, and we have a spare room." He said as the other guys agreed except for one, Mark, who didn't say anything.
"O-Okay I'll stay." I said and that was when everything else started to go downhill. Staying here, was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made.
