Max came out of the bathroom after she realized that no-one was in the room.
As she did so, she noticed little bits of paper on her bed forming a picture of Mike and her at the start of High School.
Max slowly walked over to it and her eyes started to water again. Abruptly, she picked up the bits of paper and scattered them out of the window. Slowly, Maxine walked back to her own bed and silently cried not wanting to wake up Tiffany or Mellisa.

Meanwhile, El stood freezing outside of the camp's cafeteria and knocked on the door. A split second later, the same round man that greeted her at lunch opened the door.
"Just on time! Come in.", he said.
El hesitantly walked in unsure about the man.
"Now, let's get down to business shall we?", he added.
"Of course.", replied El.
"Now, let's get down to business.", he started.
All of a sudden, men and women in black and grey suits come out from the kitchen with guns in their hands.
"Hello Eleven. Long time no see.", said the man with grey hair and a grey suit.
"We can't hurt you, so you're going to have to work with us here.", he added.
"Wh-who are you?!", replied El.
"Don't you remember? Your papa."
"Wh-what do you want?"
"We don't want anything. We need something from you. Something very very special."
"What?"
"We need your blood. And we need you."
"Wh-why?"
"Do you know how important you are to the United States?"
"No."
"You could help us spy on Russia and know what they're planning."
"I don't want to help you. I don't want anything to do with you."
"Come on now Eleven, don't you want to protect your what? Friends?"
"Yes, but-"
"Come to papa.", Dr. Brenner came closer and closer to El.
Suddenly, El lifted up her trembling hand up and let out an ear-treching scream.
Everyone except from Dr. Brenner fell over and some even crashed into the wall.
Suddenly, Levi rushed into the room.
"They're trying to hurt me!", El screamed.
"Who?", Levi asked.
"Them! And that, that man!", replied El.
"Which man?"
"Th-the one... he was right there. We're did he go?", El slowly got up from her position and looked around, but no-one was there.
"Uhh... why don't we, we don't we get you out of here.", Levi helped the scared girl up and lead her outside.

Back in the girls' cabin, Max slipped her tear soaked hand back under her pillow and pulled out a sharp, metal blade.
She looked at it before going into the bathroom again.
--
Slowly, she laid the spiky part of the blade to her wrist. She carved into her skin the letters:
M.
I.
K.
E.
She turned around and glanced into the wall-length mirror. She started at her feet, averting her eyes from her own face. Her feet were bony and thin, like the rest of her body. She let her gaze rise up and she took in her whole body, wincing at the emaciated figure that stared back at her. What had she let herself become? She felt like a hollow shell of her once plump and vibrant self. She had always imagined herself as too big and too plump, even when people told her she wasn't.
She walked over to the toilet and jammed her fingers hard down her throat and the vomit surged out of her. Then, she went and looked at her sallow-skinned, dehydrated reflection in the mirror. She examined her gums, receding and damaged from all the refluxing stomach acid. She could already feel the depression descending on her mind like a black fog.

Eleven and Levi slowly walked down a path leading to the lake. From time to time El would look around her paranoid that Dr. Brenner would just pop out of nowhere.
Finally, they stopped walking.
"What are we doing here?", asked El flustered.
"To take your mind off of everything.", replied Levi.
"By doing what?"
Quickly Levi undressed and jumped into the lake.
He bobbed his head from the water and told El:
"Take your clothes off."
El did the same and took a deep breath in before jumping in herself.
She came to the surface and smiled at Levi.
"Feel good?", he asked smirk on his face. El nodded not regretting a single thing.
"Lay on your back.", said Levi
El did as he said and laid back in the water, letting her limbs do the thinking. The water was so refreshing.
Levi swam over to her and placed his hands on her back, trying not to put his hands anywhere he wasn't meant to.
Allowing it to take all of her worries away, she stretched out her arms, opened her palms and released all bodily tension.
Eleven giggled as Levi removed his hands from her body.
He leaned in a little closer, their foreheads touching. Dear god, he couldn't fight against the thoughts that were going through him.
He kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.
"Uhh... I need to go check on my roommate. I had a good time.", said El after they ended the kiss.
"Ok, bye.", Levi replied.
El got up and out from the water and quickly got her clothes on again making them stick to her body.
"Bye.", she finally said before leaving.
