We were leaving in 15 minutes and everyone was rushing to get ready. But I was sitting at my vanity in my bedroom finishing up my makeup.
I was wearing a yellow round neck shift dress with long sleeves and little ruffles at the cuffs. I then wore a pair of peep toe booties with little cutouts on the side. I had the ends of my hair curled. I had in a pair of rose gold rectangular earrings with little diamonds around the edge. I finished up my makeup then went and grabbed my tanish brownish purse, where my engagement ring was in.
I then walked downstairs to see mostly everyone ready and sitting on the couch waiting. Kylie came running up to me. She was wearing a white dress with different shades of pink flowers in water color and had quarter length sleeves. And then a pair of white strappy sandals.
"Hi Kylie, how are you? I love your dress." I said tickling her. She giggled and squirmed around in my lap. Holly then came running over to me in a hurry. She sat next to me and took a deep breath.
"Oh goodness gracious Kylie, there you are. Stop running away from me. Now could you please sit very carefully in auntie Blake's lap while I finish your hair?" Holly said frustratingly. Kylie giggled some more and nodded.
"So how are you?" I asked Holly while chuckling a little.
"Well I am a little frazzled to be honest. Kylie has just been a little bit of a handful lately. And Nash as you could assume gives into her and isn't much help. Because he goes off and does his own little things. And I am left on my own to take of everything." Holly said with a sigh. I rubbed her back.
"Maybe I can have a little talk with Nash. And that sounds exactly like him, I'm not surprised at all. I am so sorry about him." I said. Holly then flashed me a weak smile. Matthew then walked into the room as Holly finished Kylie's hair. I then set her down and ran to Matthew.
"Hi there, your mom said she's ready to go and that this is just going to be a family meal for us tonight. Your dad and Nila are coming also. Also I forgot to tell you something, I just have to remember what it was. Oh yes! You look very beautiful tonight." Matthew said before kissing my cheek. I giggled patted his cheek. I then went and looked for Hayes. I found him and my other brothers in the basement all just sitting there. I chuckled and went and sat down.
"Oh Blake you are so cute." Will said. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"Well thank you. So how are all of you?" I asked. They all sort of just shrugged. "Oh and um Nash, Holly was telling me about how you're sort of slacking at home and you're just giving into everything Kylie wants. And not really helping at all. I am just very very dissapointed in you. That's all I have to say about that." I said while rolling my eyes. Nash just scoffed.
"Holly really said that. Ugh. Well I guess that's true but I am always at work and I want Kylie to think I'm the fun one, not the one who always the bad guy." Nash said attempting to defend himself. I rolled my eyes.
"Okay well dude you can be the bad guy and the good guy in one. And that's not cool dude that you put work in front of your family. And I'm telling you that you'll regret it because you will miss so many things and so many of Kylie's milestones. I know you're a director and stuff but you can some how include your family in that. Like invite them to the set sometime or something dude. I am totally on Blake's side for this." Will said. I just smiled and nodded with pride.
"Well I am super sorry it's just that I don't want to do any of the house work or anything it's boring." Nash whined. Skylynn then came clomping down the stairs in her wedges.
"You guys it's time to go mom says." Sky yelled from halfway down the stairs. We all chuckled and followed her down the stairs. We all slowly got up and went up the stairs. Once we got there everyone was waiting for us.
"So who's going in what car?" Mom asked while looking for her keys, but Johnny handed them to her. She smiled and nodded.
"How about everyone just goes in their own cars and we meet at the restaurant." Matthew suggested. My mother smiled and nodded. "But could Blake and I go with you please?" Matthew asked. She just smiled and nodded again. Everyone then filed outside and got into their cars. Skylynn, Matthew, and I all got into the back of Mom and Dad's car. We then drove to the restaurant and Skylynn and I were belting out songs the whole time.
"Hey Sky you should take us to see your horse sometime." I said as we got out of the car. Skylynn then got all giddy and excited. Matthew and I then walked inside together hand in hand. Will, Jeanne, and Ellie were inside waiting for us. Ellie ran up to us and gave us hugs.
"Hi how many of you will there be?" The waitress asked with a big smile. Will then stood there counting for a second. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"There will be sixteen of us." I said with a smile. Will looked at me and rolled his eyes. We all then followed the waitress to a table near the back. We all sat down and we started ordering our drinks. Dad, Nila, Hayes, and Melody finally showed up after a while. There were some hugs and they ordered thier drinks quickly.
