A red haze settled over her vision, a growl ripped up her throat, startling both the resident Alpha and the new Beta. They should know better. Her body began to twist and morph as her wolf took over her body. A low growl reverberated from her throat,
"Stop" roared the resident alpha, the wolf didn't want to listen, it was fed up of listening, tired of forcing itself to submit to this imbecile of an Alpha.
"Iona, love, what are you doing?" asked the new Beta softly, he showed the wolf both his palms as he inched towards her, "Iona, baby, you're hurt and I want to help you, but to do that I've got to touch you, is that ok?" This one wasn't going to hurt her. He couldn't hurt her. She bobbed her head and allowed him to touch her. As he ran his palms over her body a soft, warm tingling trailed after, she shook to disperse the feeling. "Now how about turning back to human?" He asked. The red haze began to fill her vision, now he wasn't touching her, she remembered. She launched herself at the present Alpha.
I opened my eyes. I was face down on the floor. Naked. With a wolf on my back, what the hell happened? I groaned. The wolf on my back moved, they moved in front of me, I didn't recognize the wolf at first, it had inky black fur and bright green eyes.
[Iona, are you in control now], I frowned as the voice whispered in my mind, nobody had ever bothered before. The wolf's jaw snapped shut breaking me out of my thoughts,
"Oh yeah I'm in control, all me" I said sticking to the floor, "does my back need stiches?" I asked, shivering as I remembered other times, the wolf shook it's large head. Eli. The wolf is Eli. His warm nose brushed my face, warm tingles erupted in its wake. Someone opened the door. Lucas. Eli growled, reach out, touch him, my wolf told me, are you insane? I asked her, she mearly laughed. I reached out a shaking hand and started to stroke the shoulder I could reach, his eyes closed and he shifted closer to me, I showed a small smile to him, he rumbled. I stared at him,
"D-d-did you just rumble?" I asked Eli, shocked. His eyes narrowed, a small giggle passed through my lips. A large t-shirt dropped in front of me,
"It's one of Eli's" said Lucas, "but it'll cover everything without putting pressure on the wounds while they heal" he told me, I nodded my head chin lightly hit the floor, Eli moved closer and licked my face.
"Ew" I exclaimed wiping it off my face, "could I please put the t-shirt on?" I asked Eli, he dipped his head, then kept staring at me, I sighed,
"Iona, you might as well just put the t-shirt on, he's going to be keeping an eye on you for a while" Lucas said, I'd forgotten he was in the room,
"Ok" I said softly, sitting up and slipping the giant t-shirt over my head, it was massive on me. I freed my hair from the collar, [hey, are you going to change back any time soon?] I asked Eli, he shook his head, no. "Ok, then" I said aloud and stood on unsteady legs, I nearly fell but Lucas caught my arm, he smiled kindly, Eli growled. I closed my eyes and reached for Eli, seeking comfort in his soft fur, his hard head nudged my hand gently and I ran my fingers through the silky hair. "Ok, what now?" I asked quietly.
