March 4th, 1989.

The day after my final day of my reclusion, I finally founded the bravery to return to school. Dee kept trying to make me stay home, because she's worried at the fact that I'll get revolved around more trouble in school, and if so, she'll probably pull me out of school for good and make me get home teaching, but i refused.

She brought up my injuries that was around eyes, but that still didn't make me stay at home. I didn't even mind the weather, besides, it's almost spring and warm weather and heat waves were on their way back to Compton, as usual.

I walked down the hallways with the looks of surprise, shock and some disgust that the hoe is back from her cave.

I saw Jada speaking with Kim as they were talking to each other, until I saw Jada's face creak a gleeful smile and ran up to me, giving me a bright hug.

"Nini my baby! Oh, I missed you so much!" Jada cheered in happiness, as Kim ran up to me also and hugged me from behind.

"Girl, where the hell have you been? You know you can't come to school and bark at your ex, then suddenly disappear from everyone for two weeks!" Kim angrily yelled but it has a little tone of relief.

"Kim, you know damn well that if I stayed after the little incident that happened, I would've been home schooled by now, so be glad." I remarked with a slight smirk before she placed her arms over my shoulders and gave me a smile.

"So, what's been happening at school?" I asked them in curiosity.

"Well, you know Tatyana got arrested, right?" Jada brought up her arrest that took place a few weeks ago.

I nodded my head yes. "Yeah, I know that what happened with her?"

"To start off, she got kicked out of school for those conspiracy charges that she got for plotting the incident with them mark ass football players." Kim rejoinders, as we all walked down the hallway.

"Oh, thank god." I muttered in relief, realizing that I won't be seeing Tatyana's snake ass walking down the aisle with a cap and gown holding a diploma in graduation this year.

"That girl, mmm, mmm, mmm. Now her education and her college career is in deep hot water all because of jealousy and envy." Kim added on.

"You ain't wrong, that's what all these bitches focus on nowadays. Too busy being jealous and they have the audacity to care more about jealousy than their own education, like you're in the 12th grade and we're graduating in less than 4 months." Jada abutted Kim's comment.

"So, she's going to jail?" I question.

"Unfortunately, no. She has to take these anger management classes and she has to do community service for 270 hours by November, and if she doesn't complete both, then she's going straight to the pen for 2 years." Kim answers.

As we all talked and walked down the hallway, I lowkey felt bad for Tatyana, but I realized what type of enmity antics and jealousy she had caused since October, so fuck her.

We came across Q, Raheem and a unexpected Pac, who Jada rolled her eyes at as she mumbled to Kim.

"Look, Nia, we gotta go, I'm gonna be late for Calculus, I'll catch you at lunch?" Jada questioned me, but I knew that she tried to avoid her now ex-boyfriend, Tupac. It's been 3 months since that splashy incident that took place at you-know-who's backyard back in New Years Eve. I still wonder if Jada is with Caine or not, because she rarely talks about him nowadays.

I gave her a simple head nod. "Aight, see you soon."

"Ayee, Nia, what's happening?" He proudly picked me up and spun me around as he hugged me.

I laughed from the impact. "Nah, what's happening with you? It's been a while since I saw you." I said to Pac with a smile as he put me down.

Q and Raheem immaturely beat boxed porno music, making me playfully hit both of their chests.

"Well, my mom's is getting more better." Pac answered me as I gave a bright smile.

"Oh, I'm so happy for you!" I gladly said to Pac.

I then faced Raheem and Q with a a bright smile. "So, how are my two stooges doing?" I jokingly questioned them.

"Everything is all good since you're here." Q answered as he placed his arm over my shoulders as I awwed.

"Aye, um, Nia?" Pac questioned me with curiosity.

"What's up?"

"Can I have you for a sec?" Pac told me as I let myself go of Q's grip and walked with Pac. "Look, we'll catch y'all later." Pac said to W and Raheem before we separated.

"Look, if this is about the thing you have for me, then--"

"It is."

I gave him a protracted gaze for a minute. "Pac, listen. Honestly, this thing has to stop. Like right now. I believe that this is not the time to do this, I mean, you made it obvious for Eric and look what happened." I explained to Pac.

"Besides, why did this start first of all? Since when did you all of a sudden fall in love with me?" I continue to explain.

"Look, Nia. I'm sorry. I-I didn't know what I was thinking. Ever since I heard the news about my mom, shit has been plummeting down for me, and you seemed to be the only person that I can get to because you could understand." Pac apologized as I looked at the ground.

"Only one? Pac, you have so many friends--"

"Had. It's you, Raheem and Q. Everyone else be on that following shit." Pac interjected with his comment.

I gave a sharp exhale. "Look, Pac. The reason why everyone else isolated from you and your crew is because of the thing that you thought we had going on, and Eric got pissed about it and told everyone, including Q and Raheem, to stay away from me and you, until Q and Raheem didn't want to get down with that following shit, and separated from each other. And that's when all of this drama starts popping out of nowhere. He went back with his ex, and probably said to her, "hey, let's start some shit for no reason."

"Wait a sec.....he went back with Tat--"

"Yep. But the things that she pulled was just.....I don't even have the words to say it. But let's get back to the topic, we should be friends and only friends like we did back in September when there was zero drama and no problems." I told Pac.

"Well.....I gotta be honest that shit has been falling apart since Liyah left." Pac confessed, which was kind of true due to the fact that after the day of her vacate, drama just started to revolve around me and negative energy nearly took over my life, which led to me being reclusive from everything.

"You're not wrong, Pac. Everything is just plummeting. One of us has to fix all of this before it's too late. We can't walk down the aisle and leave the school without saying a word to each other because of shit that happened." I abutted his confession.

"Okay. Who gonna fix all of this?" Pac jokingly questioned me, as I gave a smirk.

"It's always me fixing shit, one of you lazy bums has to do this on your own, without my help. That means you have to bury the hatchet with Jada and Eric and his crew." I recommend as Pac sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes.

"Who, who and who?"

"Your friends, Pac. We literally divided over some stupid shit. And I know the stuff that Jada did was shady and disgusting, but apologies and telling the truth is honestly, the best option to get everyone back together." I told Pac as I patted his shoulder.

"And how about you and Eric?" He questioned me, making me get a flashback from yesterday.

I paused for minute, visualizing the flashback. ".....I'll think about doing it on my own, I guess." I said nonchalantly as I looked at the ground.

Pac chuckled. "Thanks, mom." He jokingly complimented me as I giggled.

"No problem......sport?" I jokingly replied back to him as Pac looked away with a smirk.

"That's some white father shit, yo." Pac commented as I laughed.

"C'mon, kiddo, let's get to class." I continued to joke as Pac playfully punched my shoulder, before hearing the late bell ring.

****

It was the last period of school, and I had to make a plan on how to discuss the obstacles I have with Eric. Yesterday made me realize that I probably wouldn't have rejected him for wanting him back, but I can't move on with him too fast like that, so I decided that we should stick being friends throughout the rest of the year.

I was sitting at the cafeteria table with my lips pursed as I waited for Kim and Jada to arrive with their food to the empty table.

"What's the matter?" Kim asked me in a worried tone.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I just want everyone back together, everyone is now just.....enemies."

Jada gave a small chuckle before unpeeling her banana. "You can blame that little ass crew over there making this year being a corny ass soap opera." Jada commented.

Kim mean mugged the boys that sat right across from the cafeteria, and rolled her eyes. "Ain't nobody gonna stand up and apologize to them dirty motherfuckers, especially you-know-who." Kim referred Cube as you-know-who.

"I bet Cube feels sorry for what he had done to you by now--"

"He doesn't! That nigga over there likes following people and shit, I broke up with his oreo ass."

".....Cube ain't white." Jada interjected with a comment, as Kim slightly punched her shoulder.

"I don't care, all I know is that the nigga is lighter than Michael Jackson." Kim smartly replied.

"Besides, why do you wanna apologize, especially to that little big eared mouse sitting over there?" Jada side eyes Eric as I looked at him.

"Like did you realize all the things that nigga did to you?" Kim added on.

"Yes, and he came over yesterday and apologized about it."

"And? Did you accept his apology?"

"I.....rejected, because I rather be friends with him and just start over again." I answered Kim's question.

Kim hummed as she filled up her mouth with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

"But, let's talk about Cube and Tupac." I brought up, which made Kim choke on her sandwich while Jada purposely coughed.

"I don't know who that is. Is that some type of ice cube that you use for cold drinks for soda or juice?--" Kim pretended she didn't know the presence of Cube.

"Kim, come on."

"Nia, you know what that fool did to me! He was acting like a bitch ass nigga when Eric forced him to stay away from you, Q, Raheem and Pac." Kim brought up.

I nodded my head. "No, we gonna end all of these feuds, all of this hate, and I'm gonna bring everyone here to apologize, right now. Pac, Q, Raheem!" I yelled for them as they sat behind me.

"Ugh, fine." Jada whispered under her breath.

I saw them coming over the table. "What's up?" Q questioned.

"It's just something important. Pac, you said that you were gonna bury the hatchet with Jada and Eric, right?" I questioned Pac as he pursed his lips and looked at a mean mugging Jada.

They gave each other unrecognizable gazes, until Jada said the two words that I've been waiting for a long time. "I'm sorry." She bluntly apologized.

Kim scooted the left side of the table as Pac came over to sit next to Jada. "Nah, I should be the one that's sorry-"

"No, I'm the one who cheated, back stabbed, lied to you, I should be the one who should be taking all the blame for this. But this apology does not mean that.....we're gonna be in a relationship." Jada scapegoated in her statement as Pac shook his head slowly.

"I think it's better for us to rather not be in a relationship, instead." Pac abutted her statement as I blushed at the moment.

"Ew." Kim interjected with a disgusted but sarcastic comment.

Jada sucked her teeth at her and gave her attention back to Pac. "So.....you wanna start over?"

It took Pac a few seconds before he replied. "I'm down with it."

Jada took out her hand with a smile. "Let me introduce myself, and this time, I won't be throwing any skater blades to the garbage can." Jada joked as she referred to the moment when she first saw Pac back in September.

"My name is Jada, what about you?" Jada introduced herself again.

"Tupac, but you can call me Pac if you want." He introduced himself to her again also.

"Are y'all really introducing yourselves again?" Raheem interrupted the moment.

"And who's this? Michael Jackson's long lost brother?" Jada commented with a reference of a flashback when Raheem he said that.

Raheem sucked his teeth as Jada snorted. "Okay, Eric!" I called for Eric. This was gonna be a hard thing to make but this is the only solution to the obstacles that everybody has.

Pac sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes, the same reaction from Raheem, Q, Kim, and Jada.

Eric came up to me as he gave everyone dirty looks, except me.

"You see? This nigga wanna look at us as if we broke! He's reason why this bullshit started out of now-" Kim complained, before being interrupted by Eric.

"I was just looking at y'all, and y'all wanna complain already? This is why I don't fuck with some of y'all no more." Eric interjected.

"And do we care if you don't get down with us anymore? Fucking short ass mouse." Jada rudely commented.

"You guys, this is the reason why we're not all together no more. Just please." I said.

Pac and Jada continued to give Eric a emotionless look. "Eric, Pac. You guys need to break this little feud thing y'all got going on right now, cause we can't end the year with us still aiming at each other's throats." I demanded as I crossed my arms.

"Man, why do I gotta apologize to this punk right here?" Eric started.

"And see? This is why ain't nobody wanna apologize to this bum ass nigga over here." Pac spat at Eric's face.

"Guys, stop." I tried to break it up. "And you should apologize to Q and Raheem also. They were your friends, and you broke up with them because of the most pettiest shit." I told Eric as he gave me a blank stare.

"Man, come on. We can't keep doing this. You know damn well that we're 18, and we can't be acting like we're 13. Nigga, we're adults, and all of this petty ass bullshit, needs to drop now, cause I'm tired of it, for real." Pac remarked as Eric sat on top of the cafeteria table.

It took a protracted time for Eric to get his words right, before he spoke. "Nah, you right, man. We've been doing this shit for 3 months and it will obviously will get worse if we keep on doing this."

"It's cool, man." Pac said before giving a dap and hug.

"Aww." I awkwardly awwed as Eric gave me a disgusted gaze.

"What? Ain't y'all glad to be friends again?" I commented.

"Yeah, but I ain't glad that you didn't get my apology." He mentioned the apology he gave to me yesterday.

"Look, Eric. I'm gonna make this quick as possible, because you know that I always do them long speeches. I think we should just stick being friends and start over again. I believe this relationship thing ain't for us. Back in the day, I thought it was but I realized now it wasn't." I explained to Eric, who looked kinda disappointed.

"So it's like that?"

"Fortunately." I remarked.

"You're right, you're right. I think we moved too fast." He confessed.

"And I'm sorry to y'all too. I didn't know what the fuck I was doing." Eric apologized to Q and Raheem, as Raheem rolled his eyes.

"Raheem." I said in a concerned voice with my arms crossed.

"It's straight, man." Q accepted his apology as the dapped and shook hands, the same with Raheem also, but he still rolled his eyes as he hugged him.

Pac quietly chuckled as Jada rolled her eyes as she drank her milk.

"Okay, now I need you to bring everyone over here." I obliged to Eric, as Kim groaned.

Eric called everyone to the table we were sat, as they came over and disgust veiled their faces they saw us.

"Why the fuck is this bitch ass nigga over here?" Ren dissed Q as he looked at him with Raheem.

"Nigga are you here to fight or to apologize? Because you're one of the reasons why everything is fucked up in the first place." Q spat at Ren.

"He's right, Ren, and that shit goes for all of y'all, too." Eric said to everyone else.

Cube was staring at Kim as Kim was mean mugging him. "The fuck you staring at, nigga?" She barked at him.

"See, y'all two need to work that out. While with everyone else, we all deserve an apology from each other." I told everyone around me.

There was silence between all of us, before, unexpectedly, Michel'le started off.

"I'll go first. I'm sorry Nia for ignoring you and treating you like shit. I was so stupid to rather be following people around than being down with one of my best friends. And I'm also sorry for dissing you a few weeks ago from the fight you nearly had with Eric and the crew, I wasn't thinking.

She damn sure she wasn't. "It's okay, come here." I accepted her apology as I gave her a hug. Soon after that, everyone started talking, apologizing, hugging and dapping each other, which later turned to laughter and smiles from everyone's faces. It was surprising to see Kim melting Cube's face off with her lips. The bell rung for dismissal, and for the first time in a while, we all walked out of the school building as friends again.

AN: sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry for the inactivity, I'm just a weary and lazy person. Hehehehehehehehehe.
