It's VALENTINES DAY. Hooray. James is absent. Well, im actually really dissappointed. This is my first valentines day with him and he's not even here. He's not even in school ion the afternoon. "Hey, are you okay Jane?" Sammy asked shaking me up. I gave out a soft smile. "Ofcourse." I answered. Suddenly Benj came in the classroom, bringing boquet of flowers. Oh, I couldn't help but to feel lonely. 60% percent of the people in school were recieving and giving out gifts for their partners while I'm left to drool. I gave Sammy and Benj some time. I went out of the classroom. Even Lizel had her own plans.
I went to my locker. I guess I'm just gonna go home but I gotta place my books in first. I opened my locked. "What?" I was stunned. On my locker were full of chocolates and hearts and flowers. White and pink roses. There was a note. "Do you possibly think I'd forget this day? I want his to be special with you. Go to my home. I'll be waiting." It was James' hand writing. I couldn't help myself but to smile so wide.
I place all the chocolates and flowers inside my bag and went to James' house. On there the door was a note. "Go to the backyard. Open the door." I opened the door and made my way to his backyard. My heart was beating fast. I didn't know what to expect.
As I opened the sliding door. James stood there infront of the table with the foods I bet he prepared. He pointed at the sky. I looked up unto the sky and couldn't help but to be amazed. Fireworks blew up into the sky. With the words 'HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! I LOVE YOU!' I jumped in joy and wrapped James in my arms. James held my face and gave a smile. "You were absent." I whispered. James pinched my cheek so teasingly. "Well, I was preparing all of this for you, sorry." He said. I chuckled and gave him a peck. "Apology accepted and I love you too!" I answered.
James and I couldn't stop talking about how he did all of this for me. We ate the steak he cooked himself which was absoloutly delicious.
