Dryme didn't know who she was but she knew he was the one. The one who burnt down her home. She attacked him with what looked like all she had.
I was the only one who knew who she was. The others didn't even move. I tried to get to him to see the damage.
Thankfully Dryme was strong enough to take a blow like that. She now seemed weaker than I thought. She saw my dagger in the sheath I made for it.
She now seemed more furious than I did at Mr. Reso's false death. She rushed towards me as I pulled the blade from it's sheath. She seemed to have more power than I saw before.
I could keep up with her but all I could do was dodge and hope that I wouldn't get hit by her attacks. I tried to attack her with the dagger but she turned it around and made me stab myself in the ribs. I couldn't get it out fast enough for me to dodge her again. I ended up on the floor in agonizing pain.
While I was struggling to take the blade out of my body the others got the courage to fight. Owa was blocking every attack, and Byto was firing magic arrows left and right. The other tried many different tactics as well.
I got the blade out of my side and headed for the nearest room with a health potion. I healed my wounds and went back to battle. I put my special magic on me and my dagger.
My aura was glowing alongside my blade. The world went slow again. Only me, Owa, Byto, and the serpent general could see what was going on.
We were on equal levels in this space. 3 against 1 it was in our favor. I attacked first to at least wound her.
I was too cocky when I got near her. I let down my guard. She dodged turned around and bit me with her fangs.
I was weakened and trembling. I was unable to move more than my eyes. Sudden sleep fell upon me.
I woke up in a different, and darker place. All I could see was myself. There was something about the me that I could see.
It was apart from me, but also the same me. This me had only rage and bloodshed on mind. That me said nothing but didn't move either.
I walked to my other self. I never knew how scary I could be. That me was the one controlling my body now.
The me standing in front of me starred at me strait in my eyes. It started moving, finally. It grabbed the dagger and quickly attacked.
That me was stronger than I was but not as smart. I was able to dodge and run but I couldn't use magic. I could only use my own gained strength.
I was able to grab the blade the same way the serpent did. I even reversed it the same way. Now with the dagger in that me's ribs we were on equal terms.
Then the thought occurred that we were in my head. I had a sort of home field advantage. we were both able to land many blows, but neither of us were getting injured.
The instant I got the chance I took the dagger out of the other me and used it. It was the only thing that could damage either of us. By the time I was close to killing the other me the dagger started glowing again.
This time it spoke to me. It explained itself and how it could talk. What was most important was the last few words it spoke before it stopped completely. It said "I chose you, the other weapons chose your friends, but what you don't know is why. We 3 see your potentials as limitless, we also think that you 3 can unlock our secrets and use us to help you."
I then went over to the me who was almost dead and picked her up. If I was the only person who could use my dagger and it was fueled by rage. Than I still needed the rage to stay.
I stabbed myself and the other me. What I did that I didn't think would work definitely worked. Putting both of us in pain together somehow fused us.
I was back to normal and saw a machine. It looked like an elevator. I open the doors and went inside. I saw a flash of lights and then I saw every memory I ever had.
After that the elevator stopped in a red colored space. It was my heart. There was another machine that looked like an electric chair.
I sat in it and tried to turn it on. There was some sort of hole in the chair. It was in the shape of the dagger. I placed the dagger in the hole and something sparked. I saw another flashing light, but this time what I woke up to was exactly where and when I fell unconscious.
It seemed like no time has passed since I was asleep. Everyone was standing in the same place that I saw. No one was hurt or exhausted.
I turned to the serpent and stood up. She said " it started working, now you 2 have to fight your friend." She was unaware that her trick didn't work on me.
I started walking toward her, slowly. She said " that's right return what was stolen." I reached her then quickly gave her the blade. She grabbed it with excitement.
Then she let go when she saw the wicked looking smile on my face. She asked "How no one has been able to break my hypnosis!". She quickly grabbed the dagger again.
She let go of the dagger this time to, but not for the same reason. This time the blade hurt her. I wasn't sure how but I had suspicions on what caused it to happen.
I said out loud " It's easier to break than you think when you send a dark weapon in there with them." She was now afraid of me and the others. She was slowly going insane trying to process what just happened.
I know for sure if we unlock the secrets of these dark weapons then we could win this war. We could stop this madness. We could win.
