---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Prologue.
"Dear passengers, please turn off all mobile devices prior to landing. Have a nice flight, " stewardess's words were just an echo in my mind, as I was listening to my heart beating, and nothing could lower it. I was afraid? Nervous? Yes. Not often one has to fly nowhere. I've been waiting for this day for over a year. Every night I dreamed that one day I would find myself in London and live there at least a week. But this time luck hasn't left me and gave me a chance to enjoy my journey as much as two weeks. TWO WEEKS! Two weeks of bliss. I represented that in the airport I will be greeted london's "Dad", "mam" and, maybe, "sis". I so want to beloved by them, be friends, to care about them. I was grateful to God that it has finally come my lucky day, or rather, as I have repeated a million times with obvious relish, two weeks! I was so worried that I could not breathe. I looked at the small window of the plane, being covered with my hand on the shining sun, and knew that if I did not sleep, my nerves would be completely surrender to fear and fill me with excitement. I have to admit that my nature hasn't particularly resistant to stressful situations, moreover I absolutely was not adapted to such things. I remember how I tried to enter to English school. How my knees shook. Silly girl, failed the exam because of the weakness and nervousness, hell! What a fool! And as much as the experience tells me that my excitement would "present" me nothing good, I was determined to drink a few sips of cold water and finally let my heart to has a break from the rhythm of "faster than light speed, be sure." I took my "sleeping pills" and opted for the track JLS-Nevergonnastop, closed her eyes in anticipation of waiting for my piece of happiness, which, oddly enough, fell to my lot.
Chapter 1.
My God, why all the shakes? What is happening? Falling? NO! Not now! Nooo.
Dear passengers, the plane fell into turbulence zone. Please, don't leave your places. "
Phew. I sighed with relief. After a second, I sat back and leaned back in my seat, my eyes closed. I tried to stop the chaotic flow of thoughts in my head, what, incidentally, was in vain. Though .. Stop! - I screamed in silence, leading my thoughts in order. Stop getting nervous and come up with a nonsense! Wake up, and finally a stop cranking yourself. You always make a big deal with everything happens around you! Enough. Everything is fine. You're flying to London, where you will spend wonderful days in the company's alleged new friends. Everything is fine! What more do you want? Isn't that what you wanted? So then what the hell are you unhappy and you start to dull everything by your stupid uncontrollable emotions?!
I made a couple of deep breaths which as usual are the end of such "therapy" course, and then I was much relieved. After a while I, being far away in the wilds of my imagination, felt that we had landed. Of course, I wasn't going to immediately run out of the plane and drop to the ground screaming, "O earth! I'm alive! What luck!" and something. Still, I relaxed, feeling the ground under my feet in the literal sense of that expression. Not that I'm afraid to fly, I'm just a little upset.
With some fear, I picked my so-called carry-on luggage up and went to the waiting room in search of my suitcase. On the road, turning on the phone, I saw my mom's 10 messages, all with homogeneous content, "where are you? How are you? What's the matter? ". Her concern made me smile and forget for a moment that I'm still all alone in a strange city. Then I remembered about Jim and Emily and panicked. I had to call them and find out where they are. But I was afraid to hear their fast spoken English, and to stand in front of my just "newly baked parents" as a complete idiot who without a perfect English came here to tease indigenous people of this noble nation. But if I had a choice? I wanted to be here? So go ahead, do not just stand there, do it!
Pressing the call button and trying to hear the beeps which the beating of my heart silenced, I waited.
- Hello, Jane! We're just waiting you in the luggage hole. You should be there now, right? - Jim jabbered.
- Yes. I am standing near the pillar at the entrance. Can you find me? - I murmured, trying just to be a little closer to category of "normal" english instead my fake, but so far I could only hold on the category of "more less for the first time."
-Oh! This is a modest girl that stands leaning his head to the post? Well, I think I'm on the right way. Bye.
Before I said anything, he had hung up. And suddenly, as in a fever I began to rush, trying to find those who will watch over me in this paradise for mortals.
- Ououou stop! You'll knock us off this way! - sarcastically smiled dark-haired man of about 37. Outwardly, he was very handsome and dressed with taste. I just barely caught the scent of pleasant perfume around me , as my feet flatly refused to obey me. NO! NO! It is not so. Not because I like him. Of course not. I just completely lost my self-control and exhausted from the fatigue of the nervous system. But someone grabbed me with his hand and saved me from shame and tarnished reputation, after I'd prostrated down before all of them.
- Poor girl, she must be very tired. She is about to fall to the ground. Hold her, Dale.
Looking back at the sound of melodic voices, I saw a pretty woman before him, radiating so much care and affection, that I immediately felt comfortable. They introduced Connie as my new sister, if I can say so, who is a nice, sweet girl with curly blond hair and clear blue eyes of his mother, beaming with the same care, and Dale, her boyfriend that showed mercy and offered me his shoulder, when I needed it so, but no inkling of its existence. After talking with Jim about something and returning me to the reality, Emily suggested, finally, pick up my luggage and go "revive" my future room.
