Ah! This ear ache is killing me.

I'm holding my ear in the street, weeping in pain.

Everyone is staring at me as they walk past.

Staring at me with their pitiful faces.

Someone stopped in front of me, my head was down. I could only see their feet.

The person grabbed my chin gently to look me in the eyes.

The pain stopped. I saw his lips move elegantly.

What is going on? Silence?

Why can't I hear?

You know the saying, 'silence is deafening'.

I realise now what that means to someone who can't hear.

I assume I blacked out.

I'm on the floor where I was stood previously but this time I can hear.

Not just normal sounds but sounds I have never heard before.

I have about 5 people stood around me.

I could even hear the heartbeats of the people.

It's awesome but kind of creepy at the same time.

"Hey kid, are you okay? We called an ambulance just in case though."

He has such a beautiful voice... Isn't he the one who came up to me?

*Awakes*

Oh dear, that doesn't look good.

Why is the nurse panicking to see me awake?

Is this a good sign or a bad sign?

She rushed out the room like she heard the word 'pizza'.

Well, I'd only run that fast if I heard pizza being mentioned.

Ah... Now I am hungry.

I'm ever so tired still but this time, something wasn't right.

I felt something linger inside of me.

Something dark.

Oh no...

My hearing.

Its gone!

Why did you have to leave me alone?

This silence is too much for me to take.

I don't want to live like this anymore!

Whats wrong with me?

Actually, what is right with me?
