FAR FROM NORMAL

"YOU DID THE ONE THING THAT YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN'T EVER DO."
Life.
Life is a word that people can barely explain. It's something people can't describe because life is different for every single person. Someone sitting next to you could have the visually prefect life, but on the inside be breaking down at all the expectations that come with it.
Life, in the simplest of terms, is unpredictable and deceitful.
All of Lily Carter's life has been unpredictable and deceitful since arriving in Beacon Hills. People she thought she knew well ended up being murderers, people she didn't know at all ended up becoming her best friends. Her life had done a complete 180 when she arrived in the small town. She saw the beauty in the town and the people that lived there. She met a second family that has become her home.
Now, almost seventeen, she saw all the destruction.
She saw how every person had a point where they created the destruction before her. That the town that once saved her had now destroyed her. Lily Carter hadn't ever been a normal girl. But, now she was broken. Her happiness in life was taken away by those that give it to her. The people she loved and trusted were her undoing.
They created the thing Lily feared most.
Lily gasped. Her eyes snap open, revealing not her usually blue eyes, but bright purple ones. She coughed for air, her lungs trying to get as much as possible, having been deprived from it. Scott and Stiles shared a look and glance at the girl. Lydia kneeled beside them while Allison and Isaac stood behind the three. Chris was watching from the door still shocked from his daughter's 'death.'
The six of them watched as the girl's hair faded from brown to blond in seconds. Under her eyes were dark black veins appearing. Her hand latched itself onto Scott's wrist, claws digging into the werewolf's skin. Scott groaned in pain, his hand quickly moving away from Lily.
Lily's back arched back. The first thing that came out of Lily's mouth after dying was a screech of pain. The remainder of glass that hadn't been broken had now fallen. It was a force so great that it made Lydia scream as well. The two had a dark aura surrounding them. Scott and Stiles backed away, standing beside Allison and Isaac.
Lily fell limp against the cold tile. Lydia crawled her way over to her best friend, taking her hand in hers. Lydia looked at her best friend, her eyes widening in realization. It was like so many things were running through her head all at once.
"Her necklace."
Scott shuffled forward. His eyebrows furrowed, confused at Lydia's statement until he saw what she did.
"Where's her necklace?" Lydia questioned, locking eyes with Scott, who began looking around, not finding the object. "Scott, where's her necklace?" Lydia yelled. He spotted the object in the corner. His feet moved before his mind had time to think.
Lydia watched Scott pick up the necklace. She spun back to Lily only to see a purple mist surround her. Scott sprinted back, but by the time he was there, Lily was gone. Her body had disappeared along with the mist.
"Where'd she go?" Stiles questioned. His voice was rough and tears were still falling down his face.
"I don't know," Lydia admitted. "But, she's a Bricha now, and she doesn't know what's happening. The curse will start taking over and soon she won't be the same Lily that we know and love. I think the necklace may help. It's supposed to protect her, so it could help keep the darkness away."
"There's only one way to find out and the person we need to try it on is gone. Where do you suggest we find her?" Isaac stated, gesturing to the empty spot where blood from Lily was stained into the tile.
"I don't know. At least she's alive." Lydia replied.
"She won't feel that way." Scott announced, causing everyone to look at the male, whose eyes were red from crying. "She's going to hate what I did. I promised her that I would never turn her, and I just broke that promise. The darkness is going to consume her and I'm going to be the one responsible for all the suffering she causes."
"It's on all of us." Stiles argued.
Scott shook his head. "You're not the one that turned her."
"No, but I am the one who told you turn her, which means its on me too."
"It's on all of us." Allison corrected.
***************
Everything around her was sadness, grief, and just pure darkness. She felt like she was dying inside. Her entire world was turning from the bright world that saved her to the dark destruction of her humanity.
She was not only showing the monster on the outside, but on the inside as well. Every bone in her body felt like it was breaking, piece by piece. Her veins had begun to not pump the blood that kept her alive. Her brown hair had died away and was now completely blonde. Every part of her that kept her human was slowly dying.
Her eyes shinned purple with darkness surrounding them. Blood was splattered all over her clothes. She felt like ants were climbing all over her body, biting at each piece of happiness. Her claws scratched at her skin, praying to stop the feeling. Lily screamed.
"Stop! Just stop!"
Scratches covered the length of her arms and face from where she was clawing at. Her screams echoed throughout the forest.
"Please, stop." She pleaded.
A shadow appeared in her vision, the girl jumping to her feet. She watched the figure move in and out of the woods. "Hello? I heard you scream. Are you okay?" a voice yelled out. Lily stalked the girl as searched for who the screams belonged to. She turned around, jumping in freight. "Oh my god," the girl gasped. She shuffled forward, looking at Lily.
"Are you okay? I heard you screaming and....oh my god." The girl paused as she finally saw more of Lily. Her hand covered her mouth and she stumbled away. She stared at Lily in horror. "You're a....your eyes...."
"I'm a monster." Lily finished.
She tilted her head at the girl, who gulped frightened. She shook her head, not wanting to make Lily mad. Lily opened her mouth, showing her fangs.
"I'm a monster." She repeated.
The women's screams radiated throughout the trees as Lily latched onto her neck and drinking her blood. The women fell limp in her arms, the girl soon letting her fall to the ground dead. Lily looked up at the moon light shinning down on her.
Blood covered her mouth and dripped down the side of her face. She could feel the substance on her hand also along with any dried blood from Jennifer killing her. Lily looked at the body once again and covered her mouth.
"What did I just do?" She sobbed. "Oh god."
She shuffled away from the body and into the woods. Her hands were trembling as she stumbled throughout the woods. Her feet moved without Lily having to think about it. She heard the blood splatting against the leaves as disappeared into the darkness of the tall trees.
Lily was scared. Scared of how fast things were occurring. She didn't know what to do. Her state of being wasn't improved when she felt the rain begin to downpour onto her skin. She shivered at the coldness that surrounded her. Her teeth chattered as her body temp became lower and lower due to her clothes not applying any heat as they became wet and clung to her body.
She moved in the storm towards the direction of the road. She jumped when lightening would strike in the distance. Her eyes were attracted to the bright light of destruction. She yelped when a tree fell in front of her from a strike. For a second, the thought of being freezing and scared disappeared as she studied the destroyed object.
It was a simple piece of wood that never had meaning in its life. Now it was broken and charred because of something out of its control. Just like Lily. She was nothing before, but now she was broken because of the people she thought she trusted. They had turned against her and did something unforgivable.
She continued walking, leaving the broke piece of nature in her wake. It wasn't soon after that she arrived to the road and headlights appeared in her vision. Lily covered her face with her hand, hissing at the bright lights shinning in her eyes.
"Lily!"
Lily stumbled backwards due to the headlights blurring her vision.
"Turn the lights off!"
The lights switched off. Her vision was surrounded by darkness once again. Footsteps approached the girl as slowly as they possible could. She blinked furiously until she could see the strawberry blonde standing in front of hr.
"Lily, it's me, Lydia. I want to help you. I'm your best friend, remember." Lydia stated as she stopped walking and stood in front of the newly turned Bricha.
"I died. I didn't forget my life." Lily snapped. She glanced up at the strawberry blonde with an annoyed look. "I don't need your help." Lydia gulped. Lily's eyes snapped to two new figures climbing out of the car. "You brought company....how nice."
Lily rolled her eyes, her hand falling to her hip. Lydia caught sight of the blood covering her best friend's mouth. Her eyes widen and she backed away, stumbling over her own feet. Allison and Isaac steadied Lydia, questioning her as to what was wrong. The two teenagers noticed what she had seen when they stared at Lily.
Lily grinned. "What? Never seen someone kill someone before?" She questioned with an intense glare. "You should try it. It feels nice."
Isaac shook his head. He approached her with his hands up in surrender. "This isn't you." He assured. "Okay, Lily. You can't control it, but we have a way to help you. Just let me..."
Lily boasted out a laugh, interrupting him. "Help me. I don't need help. Not from you." She replied. "You just want to fix the monster you created and honestly I don't want you to because I like it. I like the feeling of the power ruining through my veins. You can't fix someone that doesn't want to be fixed."
Lily brought her hand up, holding it out toward Isaac. A force came out of her hand and threw Isaac into the hood of Allison's car. The beta grunted in pain at the sudden impact. The other two girls, snapped their heads to where Isaac landed and then to Lily. Allison put her hands out to the side, meeting Lily's eyes.
"Lily? We just want to talk."
"Oh, shut up Ali." She snapped. "Stop being the innocent little helpless huntress that everyone loves. You're nothing. You will always be nothing. You couldn't even kill the werewolf that made your mother kill herself. You couldn't kill Derek. You're a failure."
Allison's face fell at her words. It was obvious that Lily hurt her, which made the bricha smile at her sister. She laughed. "I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?" Lily questioned. Allison didn't meet her eyes. "You're weak, Allison."
Allison clenched her jaw and quickly retrieved a dagger and threw it at Lily, who stopped it inches from hitting her face. Isaac, who was now off the hood of the car, and Lydia watched in worry.
Lily touched the tip of the dagger with her finger and flickered it out of her way onto the ground. Allison followed the dagger to the ground with her eyes before looking back at Lily just as the girl threw her hands out, which sent Allison into a tree.
Lydia and Isaac looked from Allison to Lily, who made Isaac flew backwards over the car. The now blonde turned to Lydia. Lydia stayed still and silent as she didn't have any clue as to what she should do in this situation. She could only think of screaming, but she didn't know how Lily would react.
"Don't even think of trying it." Lily commanded. Lydia nodded and stayed still. "Now, if you excuse me, I have to go kill a certain werewolf. I guess the feeling of love fades away when you die." Lily stated, smirking as she walked past Lydia and leaving Allison and Isaac on the ground groaning in pain.
Lydia waited until Lily was out of sight as she disappeared in a ball of smoke. Her heels clicked along the ground as she sprinted over to the hunter and beta. With the help of Lydia, Allison sat up while Isaac groaned, getting himself to his knees.
"What the hell just happened?" Isaac questioned.
"She's gone." Allison voiced.
"Do you think the necklace will still work?" Lydia asked.
"We have to try." Isaac stated as he pushed himself off the ground and proceeding to help Allison help, who then helped Lydia.
"We have to warn Scott—"
"And tell him what? That the girl he loves is evil and it's because he bit her. Because we all made him bit Lily. She made me promise that if for some reason she turned early than what she was supposed to, then I would ensure that she followed through and broke the curses. I'm not breaking that promise to her. I don't care if its the last thing I do, I'm going to make sure that she finishes what she started."
*********************
Lily spotted the hospital in her sight, a grin appearing on her face. Her hair was sticking to her skin because of the pouring rain. She ran a hand through her wet hair, pushing the entrance doors. Doctors and nurses were rushing around the hospital, trying to get everyone out because of the storm. Lily weaved her way through the officials to the elevator.
She was almost at the machine when a voice stopped her. "Lily? Are you meeting with Scott to get Cora?" Lily smirked, knowing the familiar voice. She turned around, facing the face of Scott's mother, Melissa. Melissa's eyebrows furrowed when she realized the difference in Lily's appearance. Her eyes searched her body until they fall on the blood from the girl in the woods. "What happened?"
Melissa stepped forward, looking for any injury to the girl. Lily scowled and grabbed ahold of Melissa's arm, making the nurse stop what she was doing. Melissa hissed at the pain from the tight grip.
"Where's Scott?" Lily asked.
Her lips were pressed together in a straight line as she stared at the older women. Melissa gulped. She was frightened by how the girl was acting. She knew something was wrong.
"They went to get Cora out of the hospital." She answered. Lily raised an eyebrow, motioning for her to tell Lily where Cora was. "Here."
She handed over a sheet of paper, Lily studying the paper before dropping it. Her grip on Melissa dropped as she strutted away from the nurse and to the elevator. It was silent as she rode the machine to the floor she wanted.
The door opened, revealing a fight breaking out in the hall between Aiden and Ethan and the Scooby Gang. She chuckled, watching how easily they tossed Scott and Derek around. She saw Jennifer standing there by Stiles and above Peter, who was on the ground.
A growl rolled its way out of Lily's throat, her hand latching its way around Jennifer's neck. Stiles' eyes widened when he saw the girl. He looked her over, seeing the blood that had smeared even more over her clothes due to the rain. It was now in the ends of her hair and mixing with her new blonde color.
"How? I killed you." Jennifer choked.
"Well, you can thank Scott for me being alive and stronger than you."
"Lily, don't." Stiles pleaded at his sister.
Lily smirked at the human, shaking her head. She threw Jennifer into the elevator like it was nothing. Stiles gulped, pulling Peter up and the two running away past the Twins and Scott and Derek. They pulled Cora and ran around the corner.
"Well, that's not very nice," Lily pouted. Her head tilted to the side, glancing at Derek on the ground. He growled at her and she shook her head. "Now, now, Derek. I'm still your family." She reminded
Derek growled, grabbing Lily and throwing her into a wall. Lily gasped and groaned in pain. He proceeded to force Scott out of his shocked position and off the ground. She watched the two rush around the corner following after Stiles and Peter, who had Cora.
Lily scowled and pushed her self off the ground. She locked eyes with Aiden and Ethan's combined self. Both of them were surprised by her look. She smiled at pair and pushed past them. She watched the group disappear down the hall into a different hall.
"Now, they've just made me mad."
Lily moved to stalk after them, but paused when the twins went sprinting past her. She hummed and pressed her lips together before shrugging and following after the pair. She followed the two as they chased after the group to a operating room. The twins shoved the door open, revealing the supernatural creatures in front of them.
Lily narrowed her eyes at the group noticing that a human was missing from the equation. Stiles appeared behind the door and swung his bat upside the twins' head. Lily took a few steps back, nearly tripping over her own feet to get away from the splinters that had flown after the wooden baseball bat broke just like she had expected. The wolf's rage never ceased, and Stiles was taking stumbled steps to get away from the wolf and Lily.
Scott made a quick decision to jump up and grab a hold of a ceiling light, pulling the object down so it went crashing on the Voltron wolf. In turn, sparks flew and the group had quickly stumbled out of the room.
Lily hissed, pushing past the Voltron wolf. She kicked open the door the group had disappeared into. She moved around until she found the room where they were.
Her hand went to open the door, but it had been locked. Lily rolled her eyes, kicking the door open and breaking it off its hinges. The four people that were awake in the room turned to the girl standing in the doorway. She smiled, stepping forward.
"Lily, you have to listen—"
"Listen to what Scott? How you did the one thing that I would never want. How you turned me into this creature. You did this and now you're going to pay." She hissed.
Lily reached forward, gripping Scott's throat in her hands. She squeezed, closing off his airways. Even with his werewolf strength, Scott was no match to the girl.
Derek rushed forward and pulled the girl off the boy. Scott coughed from air as Lily slid to the ground. Her jaw clenched as she looked at the Alpha in front of her.
"Derek, stay out of my way." She ordered.
Derek shook his head. His mind wrapped around why she had said it the way she did. Lily didn't want to hurt him. She easily could have, but she didn't. Lily still had humanity left and she would never want to kill those she love.
Derek grabbed her arms, holding her. It was useless as she pushed him away into a metal table. Stiles quickly sprinted toward the brunette. He snapped her necklace around her neck while she was preoccupied with Derek.
Lily gasped. She stumbled backward, falling to the ground. Her hands went to her heart as she tried to gain air. Stiles kneeled down beside her. She began to convulse. Lily's hand gripped Stiles' arm and she screamed.
Lily's heart slowed down and her breathing became normal again. Her eyes slowly faded into their normal blue ones. However, her hair had stayed the bright blonde. A tear slipped from Lily's eye. Stiles helped the girl sit up.
"Oh my god," Lily sobbed. Her hand covered her mouth and she looked at the blood on her. "Oh god. I killed her. I killed that girl."
Tears fell out of Lily's mouth, her crying at the realization of what she had done. Scott and Derek stood in front of her with sad looks while Stiles pulled his sister into a hug as she cried.
"I killed her. I killed her. I killed her." Lily repeated.
It was like a mantra that she kept saying remembering the scared look on the women's face. No one in the room had said a word. There was nothing they could say to remotely make her feel better.
Surprisingly the person feeling the most guilt in the room wasn't Lily. Stiles was being eaten alive by what he had done. He was the one who forced Scott to bit Lily. He didn't want to lose his sister. He was selfish. He didn't care about what she wanted. Lily would have rather died than become this and he had thrown that wish aside. He couldn't lose her. She was his sister. But, he had been the one to kill the girl. Not Lily. That girl was now dead because he was selfish. He caused this all to happen. Scott may have bit her, but...
Stiles was the one to turn her into a monster.
***********
Stiles held Lily up and pulled her along behind the other three and Cora, who was being held by Derek. They made it into a new room as the backup generators turned on after the power had gone out when they were moving from the other room. Stiles' arm was around Lily's shoulder as she clang to his shirt. Derek set Cora down on a metal table.
Peter looked away from Cora to ask Derek, "Where's the big guy?"
"He's close," Derek muttered, keeping a look out for any sign of the twins.
Stiles seemed to realize that they had missed one person during the chaos of the last few minutes. "What about Miss Blake?"
Scott looked away from his best friend to where Lily was in Stiles' arms. She had tears falling down her face. Blood covered her entire body and her clothes were ripped. Her hair was still blonde, but her eyes had become blue again. Scott swallowed hard, glancing at Stiles. Instead of using words, the boy shook his head once to alert Stiles that Jennifer was gone.
"What do you mean?" Stiles asked, referring to the shake. "Does that mean she's gone? Scott, are you kidding me?"
Derek whipped his head around to face the human. "Be quiet!"
"Me? Be quiet? Me? Are you telling me what to do now when your psychotic, mass murdering girlfriend—the second one you've dated, by the way—who killed Lily and has got my dad somewhere tied up and waiting to be ritually sacrificed—"
Stiles snarling had been cut short when Lily growled. Stiles' eyes widened taking a step away from the girl. Lily hissed, grabbing a hold of her head. "The necklace isn't working," she admitted. Scott shook his head, not wanting to believe.
"It doesn't have to work. You just have to fight it Lily. You're strong enough to fight it. So, that's what you're going to do. You're going to fight it." Scott encouraged.
"I'm dying Scott. Me fighting it, is only making me weaker. It's speeding up my death sentence." She stated. Derek shook his head and walked over to the girl. He grabbed her arms and forced the blonde to look him in the eyes.
"Listen to me. You're not dying, got it?" He stated. "You're going to fight it god damn it because you're Lily Carter and you don't give up, so fight it." Lily gulped at his stern face. She nodded slowly and he let go of her.
Scott and Stiles let out a breath of relief as she continue to hold on to the last strand of humanity that she had left inside of her. Not to mention the last strand of her life. She was becoming weaker and it was evident.
"And they want her, right?" Stiles snapped, going back to the other subject. "Which means that, now, we don't have her either. So my dad, and Cora are dead, and Lily is barely holding on because of Jennifer."
Scott's eyes flickered over to Lily and back to Stiles. He could see the lie in the human's eyes. Guilt was radiating off of Stiles. It wasn't because of Jennifer and Stiles knew that. Stiles had watched Lily want to kill Scott because she thought it was Scott's fault. When, it was his. He had agreed with the others and told Scott to bit her. She was fighting to live because of his actions. Scott flinched, moving his eyes away from the human and over to Peter.
"Is she really dying?" Scott asked.
"She's definitely not getting any better," Peter admitted, frowning as he stared down at his niece.
"There's got to be something we can do. We have to help her," Scott pleaded, moving his head around just in time to see Lily start to lose her balance, falling to the side and landing directly in Derek's chest, of whom quickly found himself steadying the young brunette. Scott looked at the girl alarmed by her sudden off balance. It was killing her to fight the darkness. She wouldn't be able to last for long.
There was a loud swinging of the doors, and everyone's head whipped back to see that Jennifer Blake was entering the room, a dark expression on her face. "You can't. Only I can. I can Cora and I can tell you where Sheriff Stilinski is and I can help Lily..." Lily's head snapped from against Derek's chest to the dark druid. "...but there is a pack of alphas in this hospital who want me dead. So, I'll help you, but only when I'm out of her and safe—only then."
Derek didn't seem to accept her offer at all, giving Lily to Stiles to hold as he flipped a tray of medicine to make his way for Jennifer's throat. He had been stopped before any real damage could be done by Scott, who made sure that the man wouldn't ruin the deal that could save Cora and possibly Lily's.
"Derek, wait," Scott snared, ordering the man to wait before he attacked.
Derek glared at the women, pointing a finger her way. "She was trying to get out."
"I was trying to keep from getting killed. You can't blame me for that," Jennifer reprimanded, hands calmly at her side to try and explain why she was so quick to make an escape while everyone else was distracted. "Your little Lily here did send me into an elevator, excuse me if I didn't want her to rip my throat out."
Stiles glanced down at Lily and frowned when he realized her face was contorting in pain from her fighting back the darkness. "If you want to show that you're one of the good guys then help Lily and heal Cora." Stiles voiced.
"Not until I'm safe," Jennifer denied, shaking her head.
Peter found himself interrupting. "I'd like to volunteer a different method of persuasion. Let's torture her."
"Works for me," Derek agreed, taking a step forward to lunge for the woman.
They had only been interrupted when a voice erupted through the room, immediately stopping the fight that was about to break out. "Um, can I have your attention?" a voice broke out, only for Lily to realize it was Melissa and that it was more hesitant and distant than usual. "Mister Deucalion—excuse me, Just Deucalion, requests you bring the woman calling herself Jennifer Blake to the E.R reception. Do this, and everyone else can leave. You have ten minutes."
Lily's grip on Stiles' flannel tightened when she finally understood why the woman was acting that way; Deucalion had her. Lily let her hand fall from Stiles' arm and moved next to Scott. His face was filled with horror at the realization that Deucalion had his mother.
"He's not going to hurt her," Jennifer announced to Scott, who had been staring intently at the intercom receiver as though it was going to come back on and his mother would say that everything was okay and she was fine.
But nothing happened.
Derek turned to look at the woman. "Shut up." He snapped.
"He won't. Scott, you know why," Jennifer explained, nodding once towards the boy. "You know it's true."
Derek raised his eyebrows over at the teenager. "What does she mean?"
When Scott refused to open his mouth, Jennifer gave out an exasperated sigh before moving her mouth herself. "You're not the only one he wants in his pack. Deucalion doesn't just want an alpha pack, he wants perfection. That means adding the rarest of alphas to his ranks." She explained.
Lily's hand slid down Scott's arm to his hand. His eyes flickered to their hands and fingers intertwining.
"A true alpha," Peter interrupted, coming to the realization on his own as he whispered it under his breath.
Stiles frowned, realizing that it wasn't something he knew about. His eyes focused on Lily's hand in Scotts and her facial expression. He realized that Lily knew what was happening also, leaving only Derek and him in the room, not knowing what Jennifer or Peter were talking about. "What's that?"
"A kind of alpha that doesn't have to steal his power from another. One that can rise by the force of his own will," Peter explained, just before he glanced at the teenager in front of him. "Our little Scott."
Scott shook his head. "It doesn't matter. We still need to get Cora and Lily out of her," Scott reminded as Lily swayed in her spot and fall into his arms. His arms wrapped around her waist and hold her up right. His face was written with worry.
Lily shook her head, signaling that she was fine. "Scott, your mom—" Lily went to interrupt. Melissa's life meant much more than her own. Lily wouldn't survive the end the month, or probably less than that now. She refused to put herself before Scott's mother.
"My mom said there is one more ambulance coming in twenty minutes, and I don't think we've been here that long. So, if we can get down to the garage and get to that last ambulance, we can get out of here."
Peter frowned. "The twins aren't going to just let us walk out."
"They would let her, though," Jennifer commented, her eyes narrowing in on the dying brunette across the room. "They think she's on their side, wanting to kill you. Not to mention her relationship with—"
"Shut up," Lily hissed. "You don't know what you're talking about."
"I know that they won't hurt you," Jennifer replied, raising an eyebrow. "I know that you could distract them long enough for the rest of us to get away."
Derek snarled at the evil druid. "No way in hell, am I letting that happen."
"You don't have much of a choice, Derek." Jennifer smirked, staring at the people in the room. "I know they know about your relationship with Aiden. But, they don't know about your little talks with him, do they?" Lily bit her lip, glaring at the woman. The three people in the room that cared most about her, snapped their heads to see the girl's reaction to the comment. "They have no idea about you meeting with him." Jennifer chuckled.
"What is she talking about?" Stiles questioned, stepping closer to the girl in Scott's arms.
Scott had let go of the girl at Jennifer's words. He was looking at her betrayed. Lily didn't meet any of their eyes, not even Derek's, who was furious. She shouldn't have been in a mile of range of the Alphas. They could have hurt her or worse.
"Lily has talked with the certain Alpha on multiple occasions, but most recent was what a couple nights ago. And that's were your realized that Aiden didn't want to leave you. He still loves you." Jennifer accounted. Lily clenched her jaw, her eyes narrowed in anger at the women. "And she most defiantly still loves him. Maybe even more than Scott."
"Go to hell," Lily spat.
Scott swallowed, his hands clenching around his pants. He stepped forward, pushing Lily behind him. He could see the anger steaming off of the brunette. "I'll distract them," Scott decided, turning to the others as to break the tension wafting in the air.
Derek quirked a brow at the teen wolf, reiterating his words. "You mean fight them."
"Whatever I have to do."
"I'll help you," Derek agreed, nodding once; he had everything to fight for and he had every reason to knock the twins' on their asses after everything they've done.
Jennifer was quick to interrupt. "Um. Sorry, but I'm not going anywhere without you, Derek."
"Then I'll do it," Peter offered, him being the only other one capable of doing anything of any supernatural sort. "But, I'd prefer to be out there with an advantage."
Stiles, who had been silent ever since the blow to Lily, finally spoke up. "Advantage? What, you mean like a weapon?" He asked.
"Something better than a baseball bat."
That ended up turning into a five minute search for anything that could potentially inflict bodily harm on Lily's ex-boyfriend and friend. Derek had sent her a look to check that Lily was doing okay, considering they were looking for something to hurt somebody that she hasn't truly gotten over. "Hey wait," Stiles called out, getting everyone's attention to show them that he was holding up a defibrillator. "What about these?"
Lily, from her place sitting on a metal table, let out an exhausted sight. "Stiles, do you even know how to use those?"
"No," Stiles mumbled.
"Then, put it down." Derek commanded. The boy frowned a little discouraged as he slowly set the object down before going on to look for something else in the room that could possibly help them. Lily's hands clenched her forehead at a sudden pain. She hissed at the pounding and mumbled profound words.
"Epinephrine?" Scott asked, more to himself than to the others.
Derek glanced back, shaking his head. "That's only going to make them stronger."
While Derek saw it as a weapon that could be used against them, Peter saw it as a weapon that they could use in their favor, turning his attention away from his own search to narrow his eyes in on the syringe of Epinephrine.
"How strong?"
*****************
Five people came crashing through the doors, leaving behind Scott and Peter to fend off the Alpha twins. It hadn't been one of their brightest ideas, and Lily should have just done her best to distract the twins. Sure, she most likely would have passed out halfway through the distraction but it was better than one of her closest friends, also the guy she was still in love with, risking his life just to save her.
Stiles attempted to help Lily get into the ambulance, although it didn't work out as intended with Derek being the one to hoist her up into the vehicle, after he had laid Cora on the stretcher. Stiles got into the ambulance with Lily and Cora. Derek glanced at the blue eyed girl worried. Her eyes were drooping, obviously exhausted.
"Derek," Jennifer's voice called out from the exterior of the ambulance. "Over here."
Stiles and Lily shared a look, knowing that they couldn't go out there with Cora and her's conditions. Lily was barely keeping up right, her arm resting on the metal bench she sat on, to keep herself up. Stiles sat across from her on the other side of Cora, she could see the worry sat upon his face. She gave him a weak smile, hoping to reassure the boy that she would be fine.
"Julia," a voice jeered from outside. "It is you."
Lily gulped, knowing the familiar voice. Kali being in the same room as them, meant they were screwed. Stiles stumbled to close the doors of the ambulance. Not like the doors would do much, if Kali heard their heartbeats and found out they were in there.
"You can't beat her." Jennifer discouraged Derek.
"I know," Derek agreed, his eyes on the alpha across the room. "That's why we're going to run."
Lily watched with wide eyes as Derek and Jennifer passed through the windows of the ambulance. They were alone, which mean Cora's life was literally in the hands of two teenagers. One of which was barely keeping her eyes open and the other was a spaz that had no idea what he was doing.
It was a few moments before Stiles sat down next to the brunette (whose hair was now blonde), tilting his head to her. "Are you okay?" He asked.
"Honestly, I don't know," Lily admitted. Stiles kept his eyes on the girl, who ran her hands over her face and through her hair. "I can feel the darkness eating away at the barrier that's keeping it away. You don't know how hard it is to control myself right now." Lily chuckled, shaking her head. "I can hear your heart beating extremely fast right now, and it is taking every part of me to not rip you apart."
Stiles gulped. "I can smell the fear rising off of you. You're scared of me. You know that any moment I could break and kill you, and you're scared. That hurts me. To know that I'm scaring you." She voiced.
Lily's eyes filled with water as she talked. Stiles exhaled deeply, and his hand cautiously wrapped around Lily's. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
"I don't know. Just don't leave me, please."
"I won't." Stiles answered. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled his sister close. "I'll never leave you," He whispered.
Lily's head laid on his shoulder as he held her close. She felt comfort knowing that he was there and wasn't leaving her. Everyone else had left her in her life. But, Stiles never would.
"Good."
Stiles could tell how scared Lily was right now. The only thing keeping her sane was the necklace and they had no idea if that would last. Even if it did, Lily would be in pain having to fight back. He didn't want that for her. She still wanted to sacrifice herself to break the curse and he couldn't let her do that.
"Stiles," Lily whispered.
"Yeah?" He looked down at the girl. She reflected his movement, showing him her face. "Lily?" Her fangs had retracted out and were now in full view along with her glowing purple eyes. "Oh my god." The boy fumbled, falling off the metal bench. "Please don't eat me." Lily narrowed her eyes at the boy, slightly annoyed. "Okay. I...um..."
Stiles searched the medical vehicle with no idea on what he was supposed to be looking for. He opened a cooler that held packets of blood. They looked to have been on their way to a different hospital. But, that wasn't going to happen now. And Stiles needed them to not be eaten by a blonde haired Lily. "Drink this." Stiles demanded, holding out the packet.
Lily's face contorted in disgust. She didn't know why he suggesting the blood. She had drank Isaac's as a human, but only because it was supposed to make her stronger. This was different though. She was like this because she was hungry and it wasn't for human food.
"Brichas' are part vampire-ish, right? Part vampire + hungry and look like you're about to rip my throat out = drinking blood. It also did say in the letter from your mother that bricha's drink the blood of those that are happy, so..." Stiles explained. "I would really like to not be eaten by my sister, so just drink the damm thing!" Stiles exclaimed.
Lily's nose scrunched, but she obeyed and took ahold of the, not so anymore, cold packet of blood. She ripped the top, drinking through where an IV would be inserted. Her hands clenched around the packet, craving for any drop she could get. She exhaled deeply, dropping the packet from her mouth. She glanced up at Stiles.
His eyes were wide and he was as far away as he possible could get from her. Lily's face fell at his movements.
"I won't hurt you," She promised. Her hand reached forward, grabbing Stiles'. "Look at me." Stiles kept his eyes on the ground in front of me. "Stiles, look at me." Lily demands. He glanced up at the girl with a unsure look.
"Don't be scared of me, please." She pleaded. "I'm still Lily. I'm still your sister. I've just changed a little. I need you. I need you to help figure this out and stay sane. Please, Stiles."
He nodded, lunging forward and pulling Lily into a hug. Her head rested in the nook of his neck as a huge weight was lifted off her shoulders. Stiles' froze and pulled away when he glanced down at Cora's body.
"Why do you look like you're not breathing?"
Lily 's eyelids pulled up after hearing Stiles' comment, her hand finding the side of Cora's gurney so that she could pull herself next to the brunette's face, leaning down to see if she heard anything coming from her mouth or nose.
Lily heard nothing.
"That's because she's not breathing," Lily exclaimed. Stiles' eyes widened as he leaned forward next to Lily. "Stiles! She's not breathing!" Lily panicked. "Stiles, what do we do? She's not breathing?"
The teenager was freaking out just as much as Lily. "Oh, my god. Oh, my god. She's not—oh, god."
"Stiles!" Lily hissed, her throwing her arms up above her head.
"Okay, okay," Stiles repeated, rolling his sleeves as he stared down at Cora. He leaned forward to start CPR when Lily stopped him. "What?"
"Do even know CPR?"
Stiles mouth gaped, him shaking his head and pursing his lips. "No! But, we don't have much options her Lily!" Stiles exclaimed. Lily nodded, motioning for him to proceed. "Okay, we can do this. Tilt the head, fingers on the chin, clear the throat. Great, nothing. I see nothing." Stiles arms flailed in the hair before he took a deep breath. "Aright, just pinch the nose... and blow."
Stiles' mouth fell on Cora's, puffing air into her lungs as to try and get her to breathe again. Stiles attempted it three times, Lily pleading for Cora to wake up. Stiles blew yet another breath of air into her mouth, trying to get the youngest Hale to wake up. His head went to her chest, trying to see if he could hear her heartbeat, only to be shot down and forced to try again. His mouth moved to hers a couple of times, fingers still pinched on the girl's nose while he pulled back every so often to check whether or not she's breathing.
"Come on, Cora," He muttered, puffing another amount of air into the girl.
Lily blinked a few times, shaking her head to try and ease the sudden rush of nausea. "Cora," Lily hissed, her fingernails digging into the young beta's skin. "Listen to me, you don't get to die today. Okay, you told me we use to be best friends. So, you can't leave me today. You have to come back and let me get to know you again. You are not leaving!"
When Stiles' lips fell on the girl's for one last time, to both of their relief, the girl began to cough, turning her to the side as she inhale deep amounts of air. Stiles fell sluggishly onto the seat next to Lily, who had let out a sigh before her head landed on top of the gurney Cora's laid on.
"You know, next time I put my lips to your mouth, you better be awake." Stiles stated.
Lily scrunched her eyebrows before looking up at the teenage human. "Does that mean you want to put your lips on her mouth again?" She questioned.
His lips pressed into a straight line, him turning away from the girl and avoiding the question. Lily chuckles, shaking her head. "I wouldn't try anything unless, of course, you want Derek to be ripping you apart with his teeth. Don't think he'd be too kind to you, of all people, getting close to his baby sister." She stated.
Stiles made a face at his sister before rolling his eyes.
Lily fell backwards, her body leaning against Stiles for support. She moaned as a wave of pain hits her. "Oh no," Lily muttered.
She launched forward and threw up the blood that she had just consumed. She coughed, trying to get the remainder to leave her mouth. She uses the back of her hand to wipe the excess blood from her mouth. Stiles rubbed her back and pulled her to an upright position. "I thought the blood worked, but now I just feel worse."
"Just hold on a little longer, okay? Trust me, if anyone's gonna get us out of this, it's Scott." Stiles reassured. Lily nodded and lets her head fall on top of the boy's shoulder. Stiles shook his head, his eyes going wide. "I can't believe I just said that."
Lily chuckled. Her eyes feel heavy as she laid there. Stiles shook her to help keep the girl awake. She groaned, snapping her eyes open at the sudden movement. Stiles continued to talk in hopes it keep the girl awake. "You know I actually used to be the one with the plan." He voiced. Lily lifted an eyebrow, question his words. "Well, or at last a plan B." He corrected.
Stiles sighed. "Now I don't know. Now I'm thinking maybe Cora was right. You know, maybe—maybe we are pretty much useless. Maybe all we really do is show up and find the bodies." He wondered.
Lily frowned into his shoulder, trying to ignore the stab to her heart at the thought of Stilinski being gone. The man had become her second father. He had taken her in when no one else would. He didn't even know her. But, he was man willing to allow a fifteen year old girl into his home with no confirmation of who she really was. Noah believed she was innocent despite everyone else assuming she was guilty. There was no possible way to repay the man for all that he had done for her. He brought love and joy back into her life. He allowed her to be happy again. Because of him taking her in, she was given a new life full of family, love, and happiness. This past year was the best of her life because of him. No matter the dark parts in that year, there was things she was given that she never had before and it was all thanks to Noah.
There was no way in hell she would let Noah die because Lily got in Jennifer's way.
She would kill herself before she let anything happen to him.
"I don't want to find my father's body, Lily," Stiles muttered, ending his revelation about how he truly felt.
Lily looked at his eyes, him staring back at her purple ones. "I won't let anything happen to him, Stiles. You have my word. No matter what happens to me, I will not stop until he is safe and with you. I don't care what the cost is."
She grabbed a hold of Stiles' hand, lacing it in with her own. His eyes practically bore a hole into her head, having realized what cost she would truly pay to save their father. A cost that might have him lose her forever but save his father. It was an impossible choice.
His sister or His father.
*********************
It was about two minutes in complete silence later that there was the sound of the door to the garage opening again. Lily moved her head from the side of the ambulance, to send a look at Stiles. Lily weakly moved so that she could see if it was another Alpha coming through the place to try and find Jennifer. The second that she leaned in, she was jumping back as a hand slammed hard on the window, Scott's face coming into view. Lily let out a sigh of relief, glancing back at Stiles.
Peter was hanging off Scott's side, looking in worse condition than the boy. "Stiles, open the doors," Scott rushed, pleading. Stiles did as told and helped Scott get Peter into the ambulance. Now, they had two injured people and one practically dying in an ambulance that had a dead driver.
When the man was seated down next to Stiles, Stiles turned to look back at Scott. "Where's Derek and Jennifer?"
"I have to go back for them," Scott explained, looking at his best friend. "And my mom."
Stiles frowned, glancing at Lily, who was nearly falling over, for a few seconds before moving back to Scott. "Okay, two problems. Kali's got the keys to this thing and we just saw the twins like thirty seconds ago."
"Stay here." Scott went to run back to the hospital, but paused when he heard Lily jump out from the back of the ambulance. She looked horrible and he knew she was wasn't doing well. "Lily? What are you doing?"
"You're not going back in there alone."
"Lily—"
"Don't." Lily cut off. "You can't fight the twins on your own, and they think I'm still on their side, so I'm helping whether you like or not."
Lily went ahead of Scott, hearing the ambulance door close behind her leaving Stiles with two hurt werewolves. Scott caught up to the girl, neither saying a word as they reentered the hospital. They only made it a couple feet before Scott filled the silent buzz with his voice.
"I'm sorry."
Those two words were the only thing Scott had to say to make Lily snap.
"You're sorry," she spat. Scott closed his eyes not wanting to see how mad she was at him. "That's what you have to say. You did the one thing, Scott... the one thing...you promised you would never do. You made me this. You destroyed me. There is nothing you can do or say to not make me hate you." Lily spoke with venom in her voice.
It felt like a slap to the face for Scott. He finally met her eyes to see the tears that were building up. He had hurt the girl that he loved. His entire life he knew that the worst thing a man could do was hurt the women he loved. And Scott had done just that. He hurt her emotionally beyond repair. He would never be able to forgive himself for what he had done.
"You don't get to say you're sorry. In fact, you don't have the right to say anything to me. I may have not been in my right mind when I was trying to kill you earlier, but those feelings of hatred weren't because of being a bircha. That was all me. All that was my feelings. I'm only here with you because I don't want anything to happen to Derek. And Derek is with Jennifer, who has Noah, and I promised Stiles I would get him back."
"And unlike you, I keep my promises." Lily hissed.
"Almost five months ago you were enraged because Derek was turning teenagers into werewolves, and I wasn't because he gave them a choice. Well, you just did the exact thing that you were mad at Derek for. Expect I can't be on your side like I was on his because you did the one thing he didn't. You took my choice away. I knew eventually I was going have to turn, but I wanted it to be when I was okay with it. It was supposed to my choice and, but you choose for me."
Scott didn't reply as he watched her wipe the tears from her eyes. There was nothing he could say because she was right. She had every right to hate him, and he didn't blame her if she never forgave him. His heart ached knowing that he had ruined any possibility to get her back.
He had lost her.
Lily realized he was going to say anything and choked back her sobs before turning and walking down the hallway towards were they needed to go.
Scott watched her for several seconds until he decided to follow her, but he made sure he was several steps behind her. She didn't want him anywhere near her, and he was going to respect that.
It was silent as the two supernatural creatures made their way down an empty hallway in the hospital. Before Lily knew it, Scott was thrown against the wall by the twins. Lily stumbled backwards. Scott grunted falling against the wall. The twins noticed Lily standing behind them and turned to her. "Hey wolvies, I'm on your team remember. I was just using Scott here to get to Jennifer. She has someone I care about."
The big wolf tilted its head and turned back to Scott on the ground. They pull him up and slam him against the wall, holding Scott up by the neck. "Where is she?" They questioned.
Lily stood there watching and not doing anything. Scott glanced at the girl, begging with his eyes to help him. She smirked, lifting an eyebrow. "Oh, they can do whatever they want for all I care." She stated.
Scott groaned as the squeezed his throat harder at the girl's words. "We're trying not to hurt you." The combined wolf stated, making Lily scoff because it was pretty obvious that they were trying to hurt him as much as possible without actually killing him.
"Try harder." Scott grunted.
"Hey!" a voice exclaimed, behind Lily. Her head snaps around to see Melissa standing there holding a defibrillator. "I'd like to try something." Melissa exclaimed, slamming the machine against the twins' chest.
They growled as they were electrocuted and fell to the ground. Lily pressed her lips together in amusement. "Huh. That was an interesting turn of events." She voiced. Scott looked up at her annoyed and she shrugged. "What? I wasn't going to let them kill you despite how much I would've loved to see that. I wouldn't do that to Stiles or your mother."
Melissa pulled her son up off the ground and turned to Lily with caution because of her actions early and the words that she had just stated about loving to kill her son. She held the defibrillator towards the girl, who backed away with his hands up.
"Woah, woah, woah! No need to shock me!" She exclaimed. "Sorry for attacked you early, but that was kind of your idiot of a son's fault because he decided to make me evil. So you can thank him for the bruises you'll have. As to if I'll hurt you now, that's a no."
Melissa glanced from the girl, who had her arms up in surrender, to her son, who held a guilty expression. He nodded, confirming Lily's words. Melissa let out a sigh and dropped the machine that she was about to electrocute Lily with. She noticed the tension between the ex-couple and glanced at her son.
"Do I even want to know what you did?" She questioned. He pressed his lips together not wanting to answer the question because he was already feeling guilty enough. "Okay, then come on." She shouted, motioning for the teenagers to follow.
About ten minutes later the three had made it into a different part on the hospital on a different floor. They entered the room with Melissa telling them why Deucalion let her go. "He just let me go, said it was a gesture of goodwill. No other reason." She explained. Her breathing was unsteady due to them running away from where the twins had been.
Scott shook his head with her explanation. "He had to have a reason. I don't think he does anything without a reason." He replied.
"Well, if that means I should continue to be profoundly terrified then don't worry about it. I got that covered." Melissa stated.
Lily tried to laugh, but it resulted in her coughing and leaning against a wall as she threw up black blood. Scott rushed over to the girl, who pushed him away. Melissa noticed the interaction and stepped around Scott to help Lily stand up straight. "You okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, just my body fighting the darkness and telling me I'm supposed to die soon. No big deal or anything." Lily stated bluntly. Melissa's eyes widen, glancing at her son with a questioning face. "It's a long story."
"One that will need to be told to me." Melissa stated.
She put Lily's arm over her shoulder, keeping the girl up right as the continued moving. Scott threw his arm out in front of the two. Lily heard a gun click and they rounded the corner to come face to face with her father, sister, and Isaac.
Chris saw the three and let out a sigh, dropping his gun to his side.
*********************
"So then they're essentially trapped?" Chris concluded as the group walked through a door in the Hospital. Isaac was helping Lily walk as Melissa and Allison trailed behind them. Scott and Chris lead the group as Scott explained what had been happening for the past hour or so.
"Yeah, right." Scott confirmed.
"But, there's no way of getting them out without turning the power back on." Isaac stated. The two adults and four teenagers crowded around a metal table as they spoke.
Melissa rushed to the side of Scott as she brought up a point. "But wait, wait, wait, if the powers back on, they're gonna hear the elevator moving, right?" She questioned.
"And they'll be on, Jennifer and Derek as soon as it stops." Scott finished. "We can't get in a fight with them."
"You've got us now." Chris announced.
"It's too much to risk. They want her dead and if she dies, there's nothing we can do for Stiles' dad or Cora." Scott replied, glancing at Lily. She was leaning into Isaac's chest as he kept her upright. Scott clenched his jaw at the sight but stayed calm. "Plus, she said that she may be able to help Lily."
Isaac glanced down at the girl when those words left Scott's mouth. She bit her lip and looked away. As much as everyone wanted to believe that Jennifer could help Lily, she didn't think the women was telling the truth. She had no reason to help her, and by saying she could help Lily, only gave her more leverage against everyone.
"I don't even think I know which teacher this is." Chris voiced.
"She's...she's the one with the brown hair." Isaac described. "She's kind of hot."
The group paused to glance at the teenage boy while Lily rolled her eyes, smacking Isaac up the head. He grunted in pain, his hand going to the back of his head. "You're an idiot." Lily spat, shaking her head.
"No, it's just—just an observation." Isaac stumbled.
Lily shook her head and chuckled. "Just shut up before you dig yourself into a deeper grave." She ordered. He nodded and went quite. His grip did, however, tighten around Lily's waist as she began to get weak in her knees due to how much strength she was using up by standing straight.
Everyone's eyes removed from Isaac as Allison spoke up. "I've got an idea." She announced. Lily scrunched her face at the news.
"An idea that won't get us killed?" She questioned. "Or at least not killed again."
***************
Allison lured the twins and Kali away from the outside of the hospital to allow Isaac to drive a car down to where the ambulance was. Isaac would get Stiles, Peter, and Cora out of the hospital and to safety. Meanwhile, Allison and Chris were going to distract the twins and Kali, long enough for Melissa to turn the power on. Scott and Lily, unfortunately paired together, were going to get Derek and Jennifer out of the hospital.
The power had just turned on seconds ago as Lily and Scott made their way down to the floor Derek and Jennifer were stuck between on the elevator. The door of the elevator opened, shinning the bright lights through the corridor. Lily's eyes narrowed as she realized something was very wrong. Inside the elevator was only Derek lying unconscious. The roof vent was open as if someone escaped through it.
Jennifer was gone.
Which meant that there chance to save the Sheriff was gone, and Lily was losing everything that she had gained since being in Beacon Hills. She was losing everything she cared about one by one. Lily let out a shaky breath as she stumbled backwards.
"Mom," Scott whispered.
Lily looked at him confused before the werewolf took off down the hallway. Another voice shouted at him from behind Lily. She stood there frozen as Stiles arrived beside her to see the same sight the other two had. Derek alone in the elevator.
The siblings came to same conclusion rather quickly.
They exchanged a look before taking off after Scott. They followed him to the stairs, which lead to the roof. The roof that Melissa was on because she had been turning the power back on from them to retrieve Derek and Jennifer, which only resulted in them getting Derek back. Jennifer being gone plus Melissa being alone only meet one thing.
Jennifer had taken Melissa.
Guardians weren't what they had originally assumed when Jennifer took the Sheriff. Guardians actually meant parents. She was taking their parents one by one. First Stilinski, now Melissa. It only made Lily fear who would the third.
Stiles and Lily made it to the roof and threw the door open to see Scott walking towards Deucalion. "Scott?" Stiles questioned. "Scott, don't do this. Don't go with him." Stiles beggedhis best friend.
"I don't know what else to do."
"No, Scott there's g---" Stiles paused, exhaling deeply. "Scott, there's got to be something else, okay? We always...we always have a plan B."
"Not this time."
"Scott."
"I'm gonna find your dad." Scott reassured. "I promise."
"Scott!" Stiles shouted.
Scott disappeared into the fog as he followed Deucalion off the roof of the hospital. Stiles let out a breath as his best friend left his sight. Lily felt her legs crumble from underneath her and she fell to the ground. Stiles shouts drowned her ears as she fell and her vision clouded and blurred around the humans figure.

Update 5/11/18:
I have finally finished rewriting this book and hopefully I won't have to do it again for anytime soon because I'm extremely happy with how Lily's storyline flows now. So you'll all be happy to know that I will be updating this story with a new chapter very soon. I'm excited to continue Lily's story and hopefully finish it soon. I'm currently planning out the end of this season and 3B. After that, I don't know what I'll be doing with this story. I might continue on with a part 3, but I would have to come up a storyline because after 3B everything will be wrapped up hopefully.
Please comment and vote.
Love,
